Product Rating: 1 Switches turn off mid-hair dry!
Reviewer: Melanie   Wed Nov 26 2008

I have very fine hair and it only takes about 10-15 minutes for me to blow dry my hair completely. Even so, midstream, this EXPENSIVE blow dryer would QUIT ON ME! And then it wouldn't turn back on until it cooled down for about 10-15 minutes. So I returned it for a new one, thinking it was a fluke... and it happened again - AND THEN AGAIN!! It got to point where I didn't trust it and would travel with TWO blow dryers. Needless to say, after three T3 blow dryers in a 9 month span, I gave up and went with a Babyliss. Not as good of a dryer, but at least it works!

Product Rating: 1 Cheap parts
Reviewer: Michele A. from Atlanta, GA  Fri Nov 07 2008

I paid $150 for this dryer and it broke in about 8 months. I had also invested in the diffuzer, so I had almost $200 invested.

When it stopped blowing air forcefully, my husband took it apart and showed me how flimsy the parts and motor were. This dryer isn't worth $30.

Product Rating: 5 Just got it and I love it
Reviewer: Nicole from Bay Area, CA  Sat Sep 20 2008

While I cannot vouch for how long this dryer lasts I got one about a week ago. And I've used it twice and it works amazingly well! My hair has been awesome. However, just getting this dryer does not mean you will have awesome hair. This is an expensive high tech tool for someone who knows what they are doing. The things I also purchased with this dryer was B&B prep, B&B styling lotion, a ceramic iconic brush with giant holes. I also know how to blow dry my hair, like the motion your wrist has to make to use the brush correcty, and how to put the spray in, how to section my hair to dry it, using the cold shot, etc...

So in conclusion, if you are looking for a good blow dryer (not a miracle to compensate for lack of skill and knowledge) then this is a dryer for you.

Product Rating: 1 4 in 6 months
Reviewer: Beccie Braun from NE  Sat Aug 16 2008

I am a hairdresser, I bought the T3 dryer at a hair show. With-in the first month I returned it because swithces went out. The same on my second dryer and the next two. So in six months I have had four dryers, all the same problem, all get hot, so hot that you need to switch form high to low and so the switches quit. In the 30 years I have bought hair dryers I know this products not for the pro!

Product Rating: 2 Not so great
Reviewer: Laura from Delaware  Thu Aug 07 2008

My mom bought me this hair dryer for Easter. At first, I loved it - my hair dried quicker than ever and it felt smooth and shiny! But in retrospect, I would NOT use this product. My long hair is now VERY DRY AND DAMAGED from this hair dryer. It is breaking a lot and is frizzy - something I've never experianced before using this hair dryer. It gets way too hot. I would not purchase this product unless you want damaged hair in the long run.

Product Rating: 1 Worst Investment Ever
Reviewer: Rachel   Tue Aug 05 2008

Don't buy one - even from the T3 site directly - I did, and it broke after only two weeks of use. Two weeks after I started using my T3 dryer, the fan cracked and caused a horrible shrieking noise and burning smell because the broken blade was scraping the inside of the dryer - that was two days ago. I've never had a dryer break on me before. Spending 5 times more that what I've ever spent on a dryer has not proven to be the smartest thing I've ever done. I did contact T3 and they said they charge a $45 replacement fee. What a rip-off. I feel like I've been cheated.

Product Rating: 4 Great for quick drying but not for getting it straight
Reviewer: M. Graham from Florida  Thu Jun 26 2008

I have had my T3 for a few months and can see the difference now from this blowdryer and my previous blowdryer. My hair is 4A and I am black. I think this blowdryer is good for getting it dry quickly and it seems to give shiny healthy hair results. But my passion is wearing my hair straight. I normally style my hair with a flat iron and in order to get salon results, my hair needs a good blow dry. You may have heard before that the key to getting your hair right depends on the blow dryer. So I have gone back to my super solano blow dryer but I use my T3 to rough dry my hair so it won't be too damp when I blow it out with the solano. T3 has a soft motor and is lighter then the solano. Despite solano is heavier, it blows hard on medium or high temp which will get your hair blown straight with the round brush of your choice. And phillips monster vent brush does just that. However, T3 makes you feel good with blowing it on whatever temp setting which is a relief.

Product Rating: 2 Great dryer, doesn't last
Reviewer: eva from nyc  Wed Jun 11 2008

This dryer is amazing. I have extremely curly hair, but this dyer dries hair in a fraction of the time. My hair was left frizz free, shiny and smooth!! BUT- after about a month, half way through drying my hair the dryer would cut off and i'd have to wait several minutes for it to start again. This happened more and more often, several times during a 30 minute process until it died completely. I thought i'd buy the same exact one again. the same thing happened. GREAT DRYER BREAKS DOWN WITH IN A YEAR

Product Rating: 1 DO NOT BUY (TERRIBLE)
Reviewer: Joyce Greco   Tue May 13 2008

I bought this hair dryer about 8 months ago the first on stopped working after 1 month. They sent me a new on I've had it approx. 6 months and the heat settings don't work properly.

I would not recommend this product to anyone also it is way way over priced.

Product Rating: 5 Best Blow Dryer EVER!
Reviewer: Joanne from NY  Sat Apr 26 2008

This dryer is absolutely amazing! It used to take me forever to dry my thick, long, hair, NOT anymore! In minutes I'm done and my hair is smooth and silky!

When I want my hair straight, and I blow it out straight, it looks like I've used a flat iron to do it, and it only takes about 5-10 minutes to dry my hair, completely! Other dryers I've used in the past took almost an hour and would still leave my hair damp. I LOVE this dryer and will NEVER go back to any other dryer again! I purchased a second one a week later for my niece's birthday as she kept borrowing mine because she was LOVING what it was doing for her hair.

I can't say enough good things about this blow dryer. It is amazing! You can't go wrong with this dryer, it's also very light which means a lot me as I have a disablity and can't hold heavy objects, this dryer is great as it's light, and does the job in NO time!

Product Rating: 1 Darn thing blew up in my hand
Reviewer: Cheri from Kansas City  Mon Apr 21 2008

I bought the T3 one year ago and today while blow drying my hair the dry blew up. No Joke! Blue sparks, fire, sparks and a blue arc which gave me a jolt that I will never forget. Do not waste your money or endanger your life. I had a TIGI hair dryer that I think I will go back to, it lasted for almost 10 years.

Product Rating: 5 Great, Great Dryer
Reviewer: Stacey S. from Columbia, SC  Sat Apr 12 2008

I am a hairstylist and have used the T3 for 3 years. I originally started with the silver model which is a little older and more reliable than the newer white model. Some reviews say this dryer has less power than others. The reason the dryer seems less powerful is bc it dries with infrared heat powered by the tourmaline. This means less air and better heat produced to dry hair in a less damaging manner. The T3 is great and has a great warranty. Just register the dryer and keep the box to send it back should it need repair.

Product Rating: 5 Fantastic T3 Tourmaline Featherweight Hairdryer
Reviewer: California girl   Thu Mar 27 2008

I have used the T3 hairdryer for over one year and am as thrilled with it now as I was when I first purchased it, after trying others with little success and numerous problems. My long, thick hair has never looked healthier or shinier, or felt in as good condition as it is now. I waited quite awhile before spending $200 on a hair dryer but it is definitely worth the price -- this is one of those situations where you get what you pay for. Not only is the dryer lightweight, which provides for incredible ease of use when styling, but its fine, hot, even and quiet heat output is deceivingly powerful. I love it! And I highly recommend it to friends and family. There's also the peace of mind in knowing that if something should go wrong mechanically with the dryer, it comes with a 4-year warranty. It is the absolute best dryer on the market!

Product Rating: 1 SPARKS FLYING OUT
Reviewer: Kat Pot from Long Beach  Sun Mar 09 2008

I've had this dryer for less than a year and this morning I noticed orange sparks flying out of the dryer as I was blow drying my hair! Luckily I caught this before my hair caught on fire! I expected it to last much longer for the high price. =/

Product Rating: 1 Worked great for a while and then shot out sparks
Reviewer: Monika from Houston, TX  Wed Mar 05 2008

When I first got this hairdryer, I loved it. It worked great and I used it about 2 times a week for the first year. Well after I had my son, I didn't bother with doing my hair since I was only going to be home. WHen I was going to return to work, I started using it everyday. After about 3 weeks one day it suddenly started shooting out sparks! When you turn it on now you can see that the coils are getting overheated and it can now only be used on the cool air setting if you don't want sparks shooting out. This hair dryer is too expensive to start doing this so soon. It wasn't even used that much the first year and should have worked properly a lot longer than it did. I will never buy another product from them again! If you are going to spend so much money on a hairdryer, then I would suggest looking at some others instead of this one. When I bought it the price was around $185.

Product Rating: 2 Not worth it
Reviewer: Stacey   Wed Feb 27 2008

After reading all the wonderful reviews, I had to try this dryer. I wound up returning it. It didn't cut down on my drying time at all---in fact, my drug store dryer dries quicker. My long, thick, wavy hair was also not noticeably straighter or less frizzy. I actually prefer my drug store dryer.

In its favor, I will say that it was lightweight and I think the quietest dryer I've ever used.

If you buy it, make sure to do so from an authorized dealer (see the T3 website for a list) in order to have the warranty be valid. The cost is higher, but it's worth it.

Product Rating: 1 Disappointed
Reviewer: Leslie from Canada  Sun Feb 24 2008

This dryer doesn't have much power compared to less expensive dryers I've owned. I prefer my old $30 Conair Ion dryer to this one. It dried my hair in half the time. It is way overpriced and takes me a lot longer to dry my hair. It also feels very chinsy and pooly constructed. I wondered why I didn't see it at major salons. Now I know why. Please, don't waste your money. I wish I had my time and money back.

Product Rating: 5 T3 Tourmaline Hair Dryer Review
Reviewer: Brenda from Boston  Sat Feb 16 2008

hair dryer is fantastic. The company I bought it from was unbelievable, I got deliver the very next day.
I have curly wavey hair and I now can dry it with out the frizz. I used to spend so much on hair products.

Product Rating: 1 Not enough power
Reviewer: Leslie from Pennsylvania  Wed Feb 13 2008

This dryer is such a waste of money. Way overpriced. It does not have enough power to it. It takes forever for your hair to dry. I own the Babyliss Extreme that I paid $40.00 for which works much better. I don't know where they get off charging so much for this dryer. Price does not always mean it's better.
