Product Rating: 3 Not the best
Reviewer: Christine   Mon Oct 19 2009

Considering the price of this flat iron, I was expecting better performance than what I was given. I've had my t3 for a year now, and I can say, my t3 is still in perfect condition. Despite the fact of it's strong durability, the t3 works only slightly better than my $25 Conair Satin Finish Ceramic Straightener. It was quite disappointing, spending an hour straightening my hair, to find it looks frizzier than before. It does work on the slightly wavy parts of my hair, but on the stubborn flips at the back of my head, no can do. Furthermore, using this flat iron for 1 week straight has done more harm than using my $25 straightner for 1 month. I can visibly see more split ends and breakage-prone strands of hair. Besides, the temperature setting I use is only at half of it's full potential. If my hair is getting fried at 300 degrees, I don't want to imagine what would happen if I turned it up to 400! I assume my hair would turn out straighter, but I wouldn't risk ruining my hair further than I already have.
I wouldn't recommend this straightner, invest in something that's worth your time..

Product Rating: 3 Not so great

I have had this flat iron for 6 months now. It is cute but does not do the job.
I am african with very fine hair. I have to go over the hair 3 to 4 times to get it straight.
The only positive thing i can say it that it never damages my hair and the white plate are smooth and sleek.

My mom had this flat iron and said it was terrible. I was thinking how bad could it be? So I took it off her hands and tried it out. She was right. It seems like it doesn't get hot enough and give you that shine after you flat iron. I have 4a hair and this is definitely not what you want. Pick up a CHI or something else. This flat iron is now at my workplace in case I need to touch up a few spots during the rainy days.

Product Rating: 5 I Love It!!!

This is the cutest flat iron I've ever had. I have another T3, and this one works best. Be sure to buy the hair dryers too. I have the Overnight & the Evolution..

Product Rating: 1 Ripped Off

I feel extremely ripped off after reading these reviews; I paid almost $200 CAD for mine (it was $191.94 + tax..) and my old, cheaper one works much better. I'm returning the T3 to get a Sedu Ionic Ceramic one, and I hope it works better. I have thick, curly, course hair and although it straightened my hair, it left it dry and not shiny at all, even with product. It's not worth the money at all!

Product Rating: 2 Caught my hair
Reviewer: M from Texas  Tue Dec 16 2008

I have owned a Chi Turbo for 4 years and it worked great while it lasted. I tried out the T3 mini and it caught my hair when I straightened it. Granted, my hair looked a little more silkier than with the Chi, I felt the T3 damaged my hair more.

Product Rating: 2 I returned it.

When I first got it I was pretty satisfied..but as the days passed I noticed a few more split ends and the heat didn't work as well. Funny sounding but usually I would go from root to tip and could feel the heat burn my ear a little..but now on the highest setting, I could keep it at my root for more than a minute without any feeling. I've only had it for a month and then returned it. Don't waste your money..do the research and invest in something good!

Product Rating: 2 really disappointment
Reviewer: coarse frizzy short hair girl from huntington beach, california  Wed Aug 13 2008

I got this T3 1" because cut my hair really short and noticed that my old Solia (now too wide for my -coarse and frizzy- lenght hair) works much better and costs less so I'll return it and probably get a smaller Solia or an HAI.Believe me, this flat iron doesn't worth the extra money!!!

I have really fine, but frizzy hair, and this iron works the best on my hair type.I wouldn't recommend it for people with thick and course hair.

Product Rating: 2 Cute but hard to curl :(
Reviewer: kinky then shiny and smooth now   Sat Jun 21 2008

At first, I liked this iron because it was cute, a very good warranty, sturdy, and lighteweight(therefore it less tiring to use). Straitening was easy and quick with this iron. although trying to curl my hair was difficult.....you needed to be fast along with the correct technique. If this was not achieved, it would look like you have kinks in your curls. I did return this iron because I have kids in the house and I wanted an automatic shut off flat iron (just in case becasue I am so busy). Now, I have the Chi wet to dry flat iron (i don't use this to dry my hair) I used this just the same as the T3 it was so easy to curl my hair! No kinks! Has the safety features I am looking for! My hair looked even shiny! Also my hair did not look as dry as it did with the T3. The only thing I am worried about the Chi is the warranty and it also seemed less sturdy than the T3 Mini.

Product Rating: 1 Disappointed!
Reviewer: moruadh from Detroit, MI  Wed May 28 2008

I was so excited to finally get a T3 iron. I decided to get this one because it was small enough to stick in a purse. This is probably the worst iron I have had. It snags on my hair, and my hair is not as shiny as it used to be at all! It does not give my hair the sleekness I expect from using a flat iron. My cheapo old-school gold n hot did a lot better of a job at straightening my hair and adding shine. It also doesnt smooth the ends of my hair making it look like I have crazy split ends. I refuse to believe I spent so much money buying something so poor, that I keep trying to use it, only to be disappointed everytime. DO NOT BUY THIS IRON! SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Product Rating: 4 good straightener
Reviewer: Rachel   Wed May 07 2008

I bought the T3 mini when I worked at a beauty supply store that carried it. I liked it so much i actually gave away my CHI because I didn't need it anymore. I read a review on it saying that the plates arent ceramic, but everyone knows T3 only carries 100% ceramic plates. If it gets too hot for your hair, you can always adjust the temperature. As for the balance problem, I just purchased a heat resistant flat iron mat and i lie it on its side. That works just fine.

Product Rating: 1 KILLED MY HAIR!
Reviewer: Dana Apicella   Mon Apr 14 2008

DO not buy this iron. Its cute, and gets very hot, but If you straighten everyday, it will kill your hair. It has tourmaline, but does not have ceramic plates. The metal destroyed my perfectly healthy hair :( The Solia Iron is 10 times better, and safer, and CHEAPER.

Product Rating: 4 Balance problem???
Reviewer: Tammy from Garland, Tx  Mon Mar 31 2008

I found this straightner easy to use for short hair. Not sure what the problem is on getting it to balance. You just need to turn it over and it balances just fine. Hope this helps some of you folks out.

Product Rating: 4 Cute and wll
Reviewer: Larissa from Missouri  Sun Mar 30 2008

This flat iron is very versatile. I can do everything with this! It is very cute, clean, compact and nice made. The only problem I found with this hair straightener was that it does not balance on the counter, so I had to hold it while it heated up. That was not a major issue, because it was so quick!

Product Rating: 4 One review on this product ANYWHERE!
Reviewer: Larissa from Missouri  Mon Mar 17 2008

Well, I went out on a limb to purchase this product. I had spent days searching for an online review of this product. I checked EVERY website, none.

I tried this flat iron and its unbelievably cute, small and sturdy. This straightener does it all... curls, flips, straighteners! HECK, it even makes your hair beachy wavy, if you use it right. However I will be returning this product because it does not sit on the counter. I cannot even get it to balace, plus it takes forever to cool down! I will be purchasing another straightener and probably for a cheaper price. This one is worth the money, but I find to much stress in thinking well what if it accidently broke or something, then I would be out of $120!! I will be purchasing a cheaper straightener.

However the mini was a nice, just not for me.
