Directions:

To flip hair, use the iron the same way you would use a round brush when flipping ends up or under. Glide and curve upwards or glide and bend hair under. To curl hair, clamp iron at the root. Turn iron 360°. Glide iron down hair strand, while holding the tip of the hair. For tight curls, glide iron down hair strand slower; for loose waves, glide iron down hair strand faster.

Not worth it...

I have very course hair and i've tried just about every flat iron. I bought this one because it specifically says on the box thats it's good for course hair. Ha! I have to go over each piece 4 or 5 times. And the flat iron itself heats up and burns your fingers! I should have just got another chi.
