Not as good as Babyliss

My Babyliss started to smoke so I knew it was time to replace. I had read many great reviews on the T3 in magazines and decided to give it a try. It certainly makes my fine hair VERY smooth but it lacks the body it used to have with the Babyliss. Its very lightweight which is great but it doesn't dry quite as quickly as the other (not a big deal though). I've only had it a couple of weeks so we'll see how long it lasts. I think I will get another Babyliss next time (in spite of the fact it didn't last long).
Awesome

You really appreciate this hair dryer when you don't use it. You immediately appreciate the light weight and the speed at which your hair dries. Each friend who tried this dryer has since bought one.
Totally convinced.

I am simply amazed by this hair dryer. I didn't want to spend so much on a hair dryer and was skeptical about all the rave reviews but after my Babyliss 2000w thermal ionic dryer died after only a few months, I decided to buy the "best" hair dryer available. It dries much faster than the Babyliss; it is much lighter-weight, which is a big plus because I don't even feel the weight of the dryer when using it; the air flow is amazingly subtle and the motor so quiet, yet it is unbelievably powerful and the results are phenomenal; and most importantly, not only does my hair LOOK shinier and sleeker but it actually FEELS so silky soft, too. It's worth the money and lives up to it's reputation. This is definitely a case of "you get what you pay for" I couldn't be more pleased and I love it!
Cuts the time in half~!

I've only had this dryer for 2 weeks.. It definitely cuts the drying time in half! I can tell the difference between the t3 dryer versus my normal dryer right after the first use. This dryer is a definite keeper, it’s a little pricey but for what it’s done for me in so little time & how much time it’s saved for me.. it's worth every penny.
Great dryer!

Just bought the T3 and I am very happy with it. It is a significant upgrade from the Conairs which I have used forever. I was mainly looking for a lightweight dryer and stumbled onto this brand at a store display. After reading the reviews here, I decided to buy it. The T3 is very easy to use on my thick, wavy, shoulder length hair which I have to dry in layers. It makes it noticeably smoother with little frizz - even in humid weather. In the past, my hair has only looked like this when professionally dried or on 1 or 2 bone dry winter days. I have not had the problem that some have had with the on/off button going off. Still, I think the high setting is a bit too hot and the low setting not strong enough. I also would prefer a cold button that stays down without having to hold it in. Still, this dryer is terrific and I actually look forward to using it.
great purchase!

I went from a drug store hair dryer that was supposedly ionic to the T3. What a difference! It does definitely cut down drying time but don't count on it to save you an extra 10 minutes in the morning. It's not that dramatic of a difference. The biggest differences I noticed was less frizz, more shine, the cool button gets cool almost instantly, and it is very quiet. If you dry your hair every day or every other, this is definitely worth the price!
I hated this blow dryer

I thought it sucked. there was hardly any air power. I'm used to a blow dryer that really blows!!! I have curly, dry hair and it takes me an hour to dry it. It didn't seem to take any less time to blow dry w/ this dryer.

Light as a FEATHER, the time it took to blow out my curly/wavy/frizzy hair was cut in half, and my hair no longer breaks! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I bought what I thought was a T3 on Ebay thinking I got a great deal because it was $30 less than in most stores. After using it for a month I hated to concede that the dryer I had so many high hopes for was complete trash. The next time I went to the hairdresser I realized there were subtle differences between her dryer (which is also a T3) and the one I had bought. After checking closer the dryer I had bought on Ebay was fake and therefore not suprisingly making my hair look like crap. I just bought a real T3 from Folica and love it. If you're thinking of making the purchase buy it from a reputable source because otherwise you could end up spending twice as much in the long run - just like me :0( Great dryer and makes your hair feel great.
It really does cut drying time in half!

I live in a humid climate, so I have to blowdry my hair. I had a solano, which was great, although it was heavy and a conventional dryer. I was talked into getting the featherweight by my hairdresser. The dryer is really light and not as noisy. It dried my hair in half the time it takes with a conventional dryer, and it didn't cause frizz, so I use alot less hair product. Also, it dries in such a way that you can make your hair really straight, so you can throw that iron away!

I got it at the hair-show. It broke after only 2 months. Now I need to pay $15 to ship it back to T3. Don't get it

I find it cuts down drying time. Not sure it's worth the price tag.
Holy Grail of Blow Dryers!

This has been a great year for my hair. I discovered WEN cleansing conditioners and the T3 Tourmaline dryer. I had been using a Conair for many moons but had read about the T3 in several magazines and it caught my intererst.
I have red (professionally colored and hi/lo lighted) baby fine layered hair. It's relatively long; mid-bra strap length and is naturally wavy. There are several things that I love about the T3. It is very quiet so power doesn't have to mean noise. My hair drys much faster. My hair has more shine, especially when I combine it with Wen cleanser/conditoner. One of the nicest things is that it is so light to handle. So many of my previous hair dryers were heavy and with long hair, they seem to get heavier the more you dry! I can't wait to buy the travel version next because I don't want to be without this gem! Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely!

AMAZING hair dryer! Straightens my hair wonderfully...I don't have to use my straightener anymore because it gets my hair looking straight and shiny just drying it which helps not damage my hair as much!

Just received my T3 Featherweight hair dyrer and it met my expectations and all the hype.
It dries faster than most blow dryers and hair is super slick. I purchased this as a backup to my existing CHI (which is excellent). If I had to choose, I'll go with either CHI models (red/silver or black/silver). They are excellent dryers and five stars for me!
It broke after 5 months

The dryer is nice enough. It is quiet, but I don't think it dries any faster than my older dryer (which had a pretty good airflow). Anyway, it broke after 5 months of use. I never dropped it or got it near water. I noticed a burning smell and saw sparks out of the corner of my eye. Since the sparks were coming about 3 inches out of the dryer I can believe that other review where the girl caught her hair on fire. Lucky for me, I still have all my hair... but be careful if you buy this product.
It was what I expected

I was looking for a hairdryer that was very lightweight (I have MS and my arm strength is not very good) and that dries hair quickly. I have fairly thick hair, and this dryer is wonderfully fast, yet it doesn't seem to dry my hair out, in a damaging way. And, it stays smooth and shiny, if I want it to. My hair has a bit of "bend" in it, so the diffuser (which I also bought) helps that bend to come out, again, if I want it to. I'm very glad I bought this dryer.

I was so excited to get this item. I have been trying to decide between blowdryers for sometime now, and I finally picked this one. I am not sure if mine functions correctly. It is not as noisy as a regular blow dryer, the air also does not blow at a high intensity, and it get REALLY hot. I am not sure if the air us meant to be that hot. It is really extreme.
Nice and light

Quiet compared to my old dryer, and definitely cuts drying time in half. Dryer is not heavy to hold either, although the outside casing is so light I am afraid that if I drop it, it won't survive.
