good for the bikini zone

I have tried this product for about 4 months and I really like it because my hair grows very fast and when I use this wax I end up not having to worry about my hair for about three weeks which is very good for me. I have tried the Brazilian technique but I have to admit it was too painful for me and I do not know if is just my sensitivity or the wax.
Up to now is the best wax since it leaves the best results in my bikini area and underarms
Excellent Stuff

I love this product. Ive used some other products before and got it professionally done and I prefer this out of it all! If you use it properly... Its amazing! And of course it's going to hurt... You're pulling hair out of you from the root... so expect that! But its definately less painful then anything else Ive used. Be sure to use the oil before you apply the wax. Dont leave the wax on too long because it hurts to get off!
BUY IT!!!

OMG this works!! I was skeptical when I saw this and even after I bought it, I was still scared to use it. I've never had a professional brazilian wax either but I've been crazy enough to pluck (ow!). But dang, when I used this on myself, it was sooo easy and painless! Even after removing ALL the hair from down under I wish there was still more cuz it was actually fun!! I've only tried this once but the experience was great! I used the oil beforehand, but notice my skin was really oily afterwards so I'm going to try it without the oil next. Hope I won't regret that decision. Another tip is that when putting on the wax - don't go too thick!! I learned that as I was trying to pull off the second section. AND IT WOULDN'T PULL OFF!! I had to take tweezers and one-by-one remove each hair at the root to remove the mess. but other than that it works great! If I can do it even though I've never witnessed a professional do it- ANYONE CAN!!
Awesome with one bad point

I bought this product half a year ago and thought it was awful due to the fact I was using it wrong. I didn't know you had to put on the oil that comes with it BEFORE waxing so the wax was sticking to my skin and making it tearfully painful. I bought it again recently and, after reading the instructions, followed the procedures. It works wonderfully! I heat it up for 60 seconds in the microwave and wait till it cools a little. I then work in quarter size patches to remove my pubic hair. It's not horribly painful, but here's the part that bothers me. The wax doesn't have cloth strips to adhere the wax to which makes the start of removing a bit of wax painful. You have to pick at the edge a bit to get a grip on it before yanking and this slow motion pull is akin to pulling off a bandaid super slow. The jerking part once you get a grip is fine, but this start of the yank HURTS. >_< This product works wonders though and is 10000% better than the Sally Hansen equivalents (those don't remove ANY hair). Also, the wax is very fragrant. One bottle will work for 2 full Brazilian waxes. I would highly recommend it.

I have used this product today. This is horrible. I decided to try this product to save me money. I did a small patch test. Everything went fine. Next , I applied the wax and it was terrible. I could not get this stuff off. I don't know if it is because I have nail tips on but I would not recommend this product to anyone. Five hours later this cement mold is left on my vagina! and it is green! I tried Vaseline, the little oil that comes with the kit, I sat in the bathtub for 1 hour to soak and it is still stuck. Also, the wax is under my nail tips. Luckily, I made an appointment to get a professional waxing tomorrow. This wax is stuck on one side of my vagina and it is hard as a rock!!I didn't know if I had to go to the hospital or to a spa for removal of this sh**! I am terribly upset and embarrassed! I would rate this product beyond poor! That is a good name for the product Surgi. Because after using this product you might need surgery from aggravating a vein or blood vessel. Caution, Do not use or buy!
You have GOT TO USE THIS!!!!

I was a little hesitant about not getting waxed in a salon but I figured I would try to save money by doing it myself. I found this product as was BLOWN AWAY! I could of been saving money this whole time. Not only is it so easy to use but it hurt 50% less than when I would get it professionally done. Take my advice......Save yourself the money of going to a salon and use the Surgi Wax. Its BETTER than the salon!

This is the best product I've ever used! For some reason muslim strips NEVER work for me, but this stuff gets everything usually in one rip and if the hair is not all gone its very loose in the follicle and so the next rip does not hurt at all. This product also does not stick to the skin at all provided you use the oil. This was the first wax kit I ever tried and the last I'll ever "try" because this works everytime with very beautiful results and since it works so well I actually have minimal hairgrowth in the places I've used it, it's like laser hair removal but cheaper.
Love it

I love this product and its really not painful. If you haven't heated it to the right consistency I can see how it can be messy. Also, wait till it hardens before you pull it and keep your dog away as mine has wax all over him........
The Best Wax I've Tried

I have to say that Surgiwax Brazilian Bikini Wax for Private Parts is, hands down, the best wax I've tried. I have had professional waxing done & it hurt like heck. I tried the at home waxing kits with the muslin strips & the waxing kits with the ready-to-use waxing kits...the muslin is painful & ready-to-use strips just flat-out didn't work. My first experience with the Surgiwax was not a good one because I didn't know how to use it properly, but now I can't live without this stuff. The pain is minimal and it takes off everything that I need removed & leaves my skin smooth. I haven't been able to find it in stores for a couple months & I thought I was gonna go crazy. Fortunately I've found it online & I would recommend that anyone give it a try.
I've tried them all and this is the only one that worked for me!

I have caurse, difficult to remove hair and this is the only product that works to remove hair COMPLETELY. I have my legs, underarms & eyebrows waxed by a professional, however, I wax my "private parts" myself and this is the BEST product I've ever used. I am so dissapointed that I can't find it in stores anymore. I have tried several other products, even those that claim to be for, "difficult to remove hair" none of them worked for me. I swear by this product and will continue to purchase even if the only way to purchase is online.
extremely satisfied, better than Salley's Brazilian wax

I have used Salley's Brazilian wax and for a direct comparison; Surgi is no doubt more superior. 1. Surgi's wax is definitely less sticky and easier to remove than Salley's. I can actually test the temperature with my fingertips without making a mess. 2. The consistency is great. It grabs the hair well and with the pre-apply oil I was able to yank the wax strip ONCE and leave the area COMPLETELY with very minor pain. Salley's is much sticker, stick to everything, including your skin. After applying the wax I usually need to yank and pull like 3, 4 times until I could remove ~50% of hair that was covered, if lucky. Sometimes left some follicles bleeding. I strongly recommend Surgis.
Much Better than Professional Waxing- If you do it right!

I can't get professional waxes or use most products down there bc I'm very sensitive. This stuff works great but ONLY if you use it right. First, you need to trim your hair till it's fairly short so that it doesn't get caught in the wax - it must be done shorter than you would think! Second, you must really oil up, the more oil the better it will work and the less it will hurt. I frequently use extra oil from my kitchen because the package doesn't come with enough. Finally, I heat up the wax until it's much thinner than the directions say it should be. If it's too thick it hurts a lot more to take off. The wax is really hot when it's thin so make sure you blow on it before applying. There are a few places down there that I still can't use this on (won't say too much but you can guess) but I don't think anything else works either. It's the best stuff out there to get the most bare though, and it lasts awhile. Hair grows back much thinner.
DONT DO IT!

The absolute WORST waxing experience of my life. And I KNOW waxing. I feel like I just put rubber cement all over my private parts. Those who said the consistancy is like bubblegum were exactly right. I'm going to take a hot shower and give myself a nice shave instead. Don't use this product! Needlessly messy!

I am just too scared to try again to put in the microwave. If any of you have faced and have a reason or solution please share.

I have used surgi-wax for a couple of years now and it makes me mad that stores actually stop selling it. It's the only worthwhile hair remover. It IS worth the search though and if the only way to get it is to order online, then so be it.

I have used this product for years, and even though it is hard to find sometimes, it is worth tracking down. When I wasn't able to find it I settled for the sally Henson version once and it was absolutly horrible! It took my three and half hours, it burned me, it is twice as much and it was SO Painful!! I have also tried Nair, what a horrible mess that removes no hair!!! This product is not very painful, it doesn't burn or remove skin, and it leaves my skin smooth for weeks. My boyfriend loves it! Getting it off your fingers is a pain, but rubber gloves or rubbing alcohol works great, with COLD water. The cold water makes the wax briddle and it comes right off. I love this product and will buy it at this web site for now on!
Best product ever!!!

I love the price. I love the results. What I hate? I have a hard time finding it when I run out. So when I do find it I stock up!!!! Yesterday I ran out. So I went out to look for it. No luck. Had to settle for Sally Hansen's version. Awful! AND it costs twice as much. More money for terrible results. Surgi Wax I love you.

Ok so I never understood why people took the time to review products, but after searching so long and looking at so many reviews for a better at-home waxing kit and finding this one I just had to share my experience!
1) I recommend going to a professional for the first few times-- otherwise it'd be way too painful to do on your own. 2) the pre-oil is very important. 3) make sure you heat it up enough, it should be able to flow onto your skin and spread easily. 4) pull it off when it's a little tacky but clearly in one piece.
That's basically it. After doing lots of at-home kits with strips and going to professional places many times, I'll definitely be sticking with this! Saves SO much money and SO less painful than other at-home kits! Don't listen to others who reviewed it badly, they kinda scared me before but they must have just been doing it wrong! p.s. I'm about to go buy the rest of the stock tomorrow :)

I am a male and used this product. The pain wasn't that bad. The closer I got to my penis the more it hurt. The most painful thing was thinking about pulling the wax off the first time. I expect to scream. I think it worked great, I'll do it again. I like the smooth feeling. My wife loves it too. I wished it would take longer to grow back!
Can it get any better???

I never used the "old" formula, but if it was better than this, it must have been freakin' awesome! This stuff works great. I have had the ocassional too early gummy pull, usually when I over heat the wax and then put it on a bit thick, and every once in awhile the - got distracted and left it on too long and it's stuck. But over all I think that this is the best waxing product out there (though I have to reheat it frequently). I've been using various forms/companies/varieties of other waxes with cloth strips over the years, and hands down this is the best. I have discovered something that makes it much easier to do when working in denser areas. What I do is take one of the large tongue depressors/spreader sticks leftover from the "other" kinds of wax. I put it up against my skin where I want to pull the strip from. When you smooth the wax over in the direction of growth, end by spreading some wax on the stick. Then when it's ready, you can get a great grip on the strip by gripping the stick and you don't have to worry about it matting in other areas. Good luck!
