Microwave Formula Surgi-Wax provides salon style results in the privacy of your
own home. Surgi-Wax removes hair from the root, leaving your skin free of
regrowth for weeks. It is so easy to use, all you need is a microwave. Simply
heat wax to a creamy consistency, apply to skin, and within seconds, the wax
will become pliable. Then just pull off to remove hair! Everything you need is

beautiful. All without muslin strips or special heaters.
Directions:
Read instructions thoroughly before using.
Place open jar on paper plate in the middle of microwave oven. Heat for 30
seconds on medium setting. Continue to heat in 15 second increments until wax is
creamy consistency. If wax is too thin, allow it to cool to a creamy
consistency. Do not heat by any other method not specified in the directions.
Surgi-Wax Body and Leg Hair Remover can be used for hair removal on legs,
hands, arms and bikini area.
Do not use on skin treated with Retin-A, Glycolic Acid or Alpha Hydroxy
products. Do not use on sensitive, sunburned, irritated, peeling, cut or broken
skin. Do not use over varicose veins, moles, warts, pimples or rashes. Do not
use alcohol or astringents on skin immediately before or after waxing. Do not
use on inside of nose or ears, on perianal area, genital areas, eyelashes or eyelids. Do not bathe in hot water directly before or after waxing
(wait at least 2 hours). Do not expose waxed area to sun for 24 hours after
waxing. Do not wax more than once every 10 days. Do not rub or scratch area
after waxing since intense rubbing or scratching may irritate skin. For best
results, always work one small area at a time. Hair should be 1/8" long
before wax. Skin must be held taut while removing wax. Do not wax over same area
more than once as it will cause breakage of skin.

i've been waxing with this stuff for 11 years. legs, face, armpits and bikini. Thankyou mothernature for giving me fine blonde hair...everywhere.
Great product if you know what you're doing. I have a home warmer and melt the wax in the microwave first and then pour it into the warmer. It's easier to keep a consistent temperature, and you don't have to run back and forth to the microwave to keep reheating it (if you're doing a long session)
When doing my bikini, i sit on a piece of aluminum foil to catch any drips. Works great!
Use the oil it comes with and give yourself time. It's important to apply the product in the direction of the hair growth and remove it in the opposite direction. Armpits and bikini can be challenging for this, so work in small areas. don't rush

I used Surgi Wax for the first time on my under arms after trying a few others (w/ muslin strips .. impossible!!) well the results were great!!, not perfect but I think that was user error. it did not hurt!! I used some baby powder before waited between 15-30 seconds to remove, it was not painful at all and got lots of hair w/ the first yank!, the only problem was I may have put it on a bit too thick.
TRY DOING THESE STEPS>>
* sprinkle powder on skin before
* apply warmed wax at a 45 degree, be sure not to apply it too thickly in, the area should be no larger than 4"x 2" (this makes removal easier, i think some people apply too long a strip)
* wait 15 - 30 seconds and pull off in a upward motion against the skin.
* rub baby oil on to remove excess and sooth skin ( i prefer using johnson & johnson gel formula baby oil)

I have difficult legs and nothing seems to work. So I turned to waxing. This product seemed easy and effective. I was wrong. It didn't hurt too much, but it only worked on about half my hair. I tried it over and over again and got the same effect. If you want a complete job well done, do not get this product.

I bought the surgi-wax eyebrow and facial hair wax and LOVED it. It's the green gooey kind with no strips. I then decided to wax my legs and went back to the store to get this product. It was not ANYTHING LIKE the eyebrow kind and it was terrible. The only way to apply the wax is with this plastic roll-on thingie that clogs as the wax builds up on it. Also, the one and only strip I ripped from my leg didn't get all my hair, was incredibly painful, and leftover wax stuck to my leg. I threw both boxes that I bought away and called my salon to have it done professionally so I didn't end up with splotchy, red, rashy legs for my vacation..
Good luck with this product, you'll need it!

I am extremely disappointed with this product. I followed the directions very closly. I tried a small patch on my upper leg and I was in so much pain trying to get it off. I was left with a raised, bleeding red patch. I can't believe this product is actually on the market. If you are thinking about trying this product...think again. I wish I would have read more reviews before trying it.
