Helpful hints: Always hold skin taut and pull with a fast backwards motion parallel to the skin. Hair must grow in for at least 21 days for best results after shaving. Any hair appearing in a week or so is not re-growth but hair that was too short or not visible for the previous application. Most shaping is done from the bottom of the brow. Wax left on the skin can be removed by using mineral spirits, baby oil, or Wesson Oil. Warnings & Precautions: Skin will turn pink after removal and will remain so overnight. With sensitive skin, do not use abrasives or hot water on area. Do not use if skin is sunburned, cut, chapped, over moles or warts and do not re-apply to same area in a 24 hour period. Do not use Brow Shapers if you have: varicose veins, diabetes, phlebitis, chapped, sore or sunburned skin; recent scar issue, eczema or any other skin disorder. Do not use if you are using Retin-A, Accutane, Glycolic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Treatments or Steroids. Do not use on warts, moles, or eyelashes. Do not use if you have very sensitive skin or adverse reactions to cold wax strips, sticky tapes or plasters. With sensitive skin, do not use abrasives or hot water on area. Do not re-apply Brow Shapers or use any other hair removal product on the same area for a 24 hour period. Do not apply close to an eyelid. I have tried many different products to try to shape my brows and never had any success until I found these. I was skeptical about them at first thinking they were just another product on the market, but I will keep buying them. The price is great and the results are even better. I no longer have to pay to have my professionally done. Now my friends ask me to shape their brows too! I absolutely love this product! **Sally Beauty Supply carries them, but the folica price is much lower!** I put them on...yanked them off...nothing happened. Put them on, carefully pulled them off...still nothing happened. I wonder if it has something to do with texture of the hair, moisture, or something else-seems to work for some people... Well, the first time I used this product, I was skeptic. But I tried it, and it was awesome! The only problem I had was I put the wax on the wrong part of my brow. I couldn't get it off.. and well ended up ripping off half my eyebrow.. That's why I chose 4 stars. It truly is a great product, just be way more careful than I was!! The instructions in this product say do not use if you use Retin-A. The product description online does not tell you this and therefore I purchased it, but cannot use it. That is pretty important information to know and should be displayed clearly and obviously in the product description so customers know whether they can even use it. i wouldn't recommend this to no one.
