I use this manicure set for my dog, Winnie. Her veins are very close to the edge of her nails so it makes it difficult to trim them with a nail clipper without cutting the vein. When I use this product, the vein recedes and I am able to use this as a trimmer since I cannot trim them with a nail clipper. We are happy with the results.
Thank goodness it's still available

I have been using this great little tool for quite a few years. Don't remember how many. Now I must order a new one. I guess it finally wore out. Truthfully, I never used this for filing my nails.I used it for dry cuticles, calluses and to grind down toenails that thicken as you age.I DID use it gently. The vibration is a little much for fingernails. I wish it didn't cost any more than I paid for the first one ($10 or $12) but that was years ago. I would like to buy about 6 or 8 of them so I could give all my girls one.

I have owned a Supernail Deluxe Manicure Machine for 24 years and it FINALLY wore out. Realizing this isn't professional quality I was skeptical when I recieved it in my Christmas stocking 24 years ago. I have had many years of faithful service from this little tool, have used it nearly every week for all those years on my cuticles and nails. When it quit it wasn't defective, just worn out from use. I've done nothing special to prolong it's life but haven't abused it either. I've kept it in it's original box adn sanitized it after each use. I plan to order another to replace my old friend and if I get 1/4 the service from the new one, I'd be more than happy.

Broke the first time it was used. And with only a 30 day money back guarantee my 83 yr old mother was out a Christmas gift. I will think twice before any further buys from this company.

I bought this because the acrylic nails had begun to damage my nails very badly..and I was going with my natural nails for a while..It is very hard to use..it seems to eat away at the nails very quickly and it is hard to control..especailly when you are working on your right hand with your left hand..also I have been unable to find any replacement parts..and my very fine grade cylinder has worn out...Can anyone help me find the replacement cylinders? As an older person I have ridges on the nails and I wanted to smooth them out before applying a nice clear polish..
Hard for the amateur to use.

This is a good product in that it has good attachments and runs on batteries. Good for someone who knows how to do this. I bought it to buff my nails between polishings and salon visits. My problem with it is that it's too hard to control to keep from gauging my 2" acrylic nails - even with the softest attachment. I thought the softest attachment was for buffing to smooth and shine. Instead it dullens. I'm afraid I might have to return it or eat the cost and look for something else.
