Directions: To use: Apply a liberal amount of lotion to face and neck using the fingertips. Reapply as often as desired for dark tan appearance. Can be applied in the morning under makeup of in the evening as a facial moisturizer. Helpful Tips: Contain no sunscreens. Wait at least one hour after use before contact with water or bathing. Avoid direct contact with fabric immediately after application. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation occurs discontinue use. I've tried several other sunless tanning lotions which leave me smelling "weird"...this one isn't perfect, but I think it's considerably less noticeable than others. I can smell just a very faint hint of the lotion. (If I had put it on before bed like others recommend then I probably wouldn't even be aware of it). I got the medium and it's PLENTY dark enough for me. I am very careful to apply it evenly and not too thick...I make sure to rub it in well so there is no problem with streaking. Still have to watch my feet and ankles as those spots tend to be the hardest to cover evenly. I even put this on my face. I've been in search of the perfect tanner for both face and body, and I finally found a great one for the face, Sun! It gives you a natural color and its not sticky or greasy at all. I put it on after moisturizer and before foundation. I have noticed although that it seems to work better if you don't put anything on top of it, like foundation or powder. the product is very very great !!!!! I tried the face tanner along with the body tanner and I must say,it looks real.You might want to apply it at night though because the color guide is a bit too dark to put on in the morning,you may shock co-workers.5 stars. I tried the self tanner on my face and was really worried, but the tan came out very nice. Be sure to blend the ends well because there is a definate difference in color. I made the mistake of not blending it into my hair line. It looked like I had a headband on and went out in the sun. Overall I give this product an A+
