I have been using self tanners for about 7 years now and everyone I have used always comes off blotchy after about 4 or 5 days after my initial application. It doesn't just fade naturally and leaves my skin looking scaley, even if I moisturize everyday after. It only says that St. Tropez is for removal of tanner off the palms and heels. I was just wondering if it is safe to use on the body as well?? Question posted by Marcia Tue Feb 27 2007 Submit your answer Removal of old self tanner
I have used self tanners for alittle while, and seem to notice that as it wears off I am uneven. I have exfoliated several times a week, used alcohol to even it out or remove it and it does not work. So I left it off for 3 weeks and kept exfoliating, yet it does not seem to come off? Any suggestions? I do not want to go to a tanning bed. hum... I would say use the tan remover to see if it helps. If it doesn't, then the uneven tone may be caused by pigmentation of your skin and has nothing to do with the self tanner that you applied. | | Reply by Pam Vance

St. Tropez makes a towelette that allegedly removes the residue of the self tanner. I found the following website
that has product informaition.
I am going to try to find some of this myself. I have orange hands! |
