Directions:
Place top of foil directly under separated strand of hair, as close to the
scalp as possible.
While holding foil close to the scalp, lay hair strand onto the foil,
keeping it taut so that it lays flat against the foil.
While applying hair color or lightening mixture, hold foil firmly against
the base of hair strand.
To apply hair color, start at the center of the hair strand and work up to
1/16" from the root. Then brush down to end. Use short, firm stokes.
Folding Instructions: Fold bottom edge of foil wrap up to meet top
edge precisely. Then, seal by folding both sides 1/2" toward the center of
the foil.
Important: Once hair color or lightening mixture is on hair, do not
press on the foil or make tight creases.

You asked for a review. Here it it. We use this fine product in our Geotechnical lab to cover small bowls of grated soil for a test called an Atterberg Limit. We used to use regular aluminum foil on rolls, but found this to be a real pain in the butt to continually cut.
Then one day while getting a haircut, I saw the pop-up foil squares. Eureka! I found the answer. So for several years now, my lab technicians have enjoyed the convenience of this great pop-up foil.
Doesn't come out of the box easily

The sheets of foil do not pull neatly out of the box (maybe I got a bad batch) The foil itself is fine, but the whole point of this product is the pre-cut "easy to use" dispenser box..and that doesn't really do what it's meant to do!
