The best I have tried so far

I'm in my third month of spectral dnc, my temples are filling in and the vellous hair is darkening there every single week. It is not magic cure, but it is definatelly the best product I have tried (and I tried almost everything already). This stuff does what it promises!
I am so excited about the results that I'm giving it 5 stars even though there are some issues like the applicator which is just rubbish. I consider this to be minor issue as I use dropper anyway to deliver it directly to the scalp.
Btw I am on propecia also (although it did nothing with my temples, it probably stopped / slowed vertex thinning). I advise anyone to do a little research and not to rely on one product. There are already many directions from where you can counter attack the follicle miniaturisation. The spectral dnc is imho the best growth promoter. But you should also try to reduce dht (propecia) and inflammation (nizoral). With these 3 most of you should see results.
Good luck to everyone!
Improved Formula with new ingredients

I just received the brand new version of spectral dnc, and not only did they improve the bottle sprayer, but they also improved the formula so that it is clear and not yellow at all. They also included additional ingredients of Adenosine and Procyanidin B-2 and C-2. If you did a search for these two ingredients you will find out how beneficial they are in fighting hair loss. To make sure you get the newest batch of spectral dnc, the serial number begins with an "S" as the older version began with an "A".
Great stuff.

I was incredibly relieved right off the bat due to it not being oily and you can tell it really seems to stay on the skin when you touch it a couple hours after application. I've tried them all, including Xandrox and others but this stuff seems to finally be the entire package rolled into one. Price is a little steep and the applicator sucks but I just use a dropper that fits perfectly. I would like it if that sprayer actually worked though. Because the mist is perfect.

At first I heard about Spectral because there was so much word-of-mouth hype about it, so I decided to give it a try. I have been using Spectral DNC for just 6 weeks and I already see small hairs growing in at the corners of my hair line. There is no comparison to anything I have ever used in the past. Here are some addition features that I like:
-Pleasant smell
-Does not leave hair or scalp greasy
-Very easy to apply
-The only treatment in America that uses nanosomes for minoxidil and also the only way to get Aminexil in America.
-Seems to have a great synergy of ingredients with components like copper peptides, retinol, adenosine, and apple polyphenol.
For sure if you want the best topical, without question this is it.
It Works!

I agree with everyone who said that Spectral DNC is inconvenient/difficult to use. However I have found that if I shake the bottle after each 'squirt' the nozzle will not block up so easily. Hopefully, the company will find a delivery system that is more effective. The addition of an extra nozzle has been helpful. bottom line - this product has worked for me just as advertised!! and that makes the inconvenience worthwhile.

Just got my new bottle of Spectral DNC. This bottle has a different pump then the bottles I purchased before and does not clog AT ALL. Also, the smell seems improved and the color does not stain the skin. I think that this new version of Spectral DNC is what everyone has been asking for. Other then these minor complaints, I have had outstanding results after 6 months of use.
Seems to be doing something...

After finding out I had loss across the vertex of my scalp (from the temples in a V, leaving a little patch at the front), I opted for treatment. I have been on Propecia for nearly 4 years now, and have had little improvement in my hairline (it may have stopped the loss, but didn't fix anything). At the start of my regieme, I had used Rogaine 5% for about 3 months as Propecia wasn't licensed in the UK, all it gave me was an itchy scalp. Anyway, about 2 months ago I decided to opt for adding a minox product to my regieme, and I opted for Spectral DNC...
The Bad:
- The sprayer is crap, mine broke after about 3 appliances. I had to transfer the contents to an ancient Rogaine bottle I found the cupboard.
- Seems to have a yellow tint. This doesn't bother me as my hair is black and my skin tanned, so it doesn't show up - but I got a glob of it accidently try on my eyebrow, and my friend thought I'd been applying iodine to my face.
- Leaves hair feeling a bit crap. I usually apply it, wait 3 hours then have a shower, and wash my hair.
The Good:
- It seems to work. Infact in some respects it seems really pontent. I've got black fuzz all across the vertex of my scalp, and I've also noticed an increase in overall hair. Like, on my arms, and around my temples. Where'as I have what's termed a 'Widows Peak' hairline, the edges by the temples which had recceded, and looked like normal skin seem to be sprouting new hairs.
- Doesn't itch.
I'll keep it up for a 6 month cycle and see if the improvements continue. At the moment, I am, most definatley impressed.
Minimum Results

Hi, i see many excellent posts here but I've been using Spectral DNC for nearly 4 months now and the results have been minimum. I'm 33 y.o., been losing hair for 5 years now. I have a nickle size bald spot on my crown and qaurter size bald spots on my front, but i haven't been able to regrow much real hair, just 20-30 strings of thin hair on each spot which is not covering much. I'll use it for another 2-3 months but I don't have much hopes for now. I'm wondering if the excelent posts posted here are real people or Spectral promoters...

Where was this 15 years ago

I've been slowly losing my hair since I was 17 (I'm 47). I tried Rogaine when I was 30 for about 2 years with no results(by this time I had some scalp visible in the crown area and began to use small amounts of Couvre) When I was 35 I tried a very expensive paste that was concocted by a dermatologist and sold directly from his office. It's main ingredients were minoxidil and retin-a (retin-a had just been recognized as an minoxidil booster by helping it to penetrate deeper into the scalp) With this treatment I took before photos. After 2 years and no results, I resolved myself to my fate and began using more and more concealers(I use Dermatch as a base and Prothik to add volume to my now 3 inch bald spot on my crown and ever thinning front). When I read about DNC I remembered the paste I tried years ago and wondered if someone finally got it right. I am getting to the point where the concealers are going to be ineffective. My only goal was to prevent further loss. After 5 months on DNC it appears to have halted my loss. I feel that if this product was available 15 years ago, I would not need the concealers. I would strongly recommend that anyone experiencing hair loss give this a 6-month try, especially if you are still in the early stages

Hey I have been on a Hair Club EXT program that consists of cleansing the scalp vitamins and Minoxidil and I decided to add in the Spectral DNC and I have had amazing results after 3 months. the whole frontal area that was thining is now full and thick of hairs about .5" long and growing healthier by the day. Im not sure how much the DNC has improved my program but I am loving the results and hope they continue to get even better. you gotta do a good job at keeping your scalp clean for this product to work its best. I use the dropper from the minokidil bottle instead of the sprayer

I've used standard Rogaine 5% for over two years on my front hairline and have lost hair during that period.
10 weeks after starting Spectral DNC my receding hairline is starting to show more than peach fuzz. Hairs that were once less than an 1/8th of an inch long and colorless have some pigment and have grown over 1/2 inch and I'm not even three months into the treatment. It works!
The product also will not cause any itchy scalp. For that alone it is worth the money!!!
Yes, it does turn your scalp yellow if you do not properly shake the bottle or if you apply a little too much. Yes, the pump frequently breaks which requires you to then use a dropper from another minoxodil product (or go buy a spray bottle from a drugstore). Yes, the product does make your hair brittle. However, since it actually grows hair and does not cause scalp itch I personally couldn't care less.

The pump on my product broke after the first 2 uses...when I put the replacement pump on, that broke after about 6 uses...I'm not sure if the actual product even works, due to the fact that I am unable to use it. This is even more disappointing because I purchased a 3 month supply...THANKS FOR NOTHING.
Give it a second chance...

The 2 common complaints about this product are: 1) It stains your scalp/hair yellow, and 2) The sprayer breaks easily and you can't dispense the product. My responses...
1) They must have changed the formula since the beginning because after I rub the product in, the yellow color vanishes and my scalp and hairline look normal. If you have really light blonde hair, your hair might pick up some of the yellow color, but it will definitely wash out.
2) Yes, many sprayers are defective have been recalled. Go to www.spectraldnc.com and there is a notice on the front page about it. If your serial number matches the range with known sprayer defects, they will send you a replacement free of charge, and you get to keep the origninal unused product. My replacement is on the way.
As good as this product appears to be, I'm definitely going to give it another shot.

I have been using Spectral DNC for 3 months now with no real results!Havent seen any improvement in hair growth! What i have experienced is a non working pump after only a few sprays!I contacted DNC labs and complained about the pump. They sent me another sprayer with a different design with a shorter nozzel but that also stopped working in 1 day!!I contacted them again by e mail and told them that their sprayers are defective and they should find another manufacturer NOT IN CHINA to make new working sprayers for them! I also mentioned the fact that i will not be purchasing their product again until they solve the non working pump problem!I am willing to give their product a chance to work on my hair loss but if i cant dispense it...then what good is it! Oh yes...i tried the dropper technique but the product lasts less than a month and turns my scalp a yellow hue even with the supposedly NEW formula!

I have been using this for 2 weeks and it seems to start stoppig hair loss in the frontal area, If you guys have problems with the pump just Hit the End of the Pump Slightly Against your Forehead and it will clear up and start working again. to get result give it at least a month to stop hairloss and 3 months to regrow hair.
good luck
