i am on my third bottle of dnc, and i have been using it as directed. I have just turned 20 and have a receding hairline and noticed that my hair was thinning rapidly so I bought this product. After 3 months, I haven't noticed any new hair growth at all, and feel like I might as well stop spending the 40 bucks a month on this stuff and shave my head. Maybe I need to use it longer but I just feel like this stuff has done nothing for me.

Holy crap, this stuff actually works! I can already feel little stubbly hairs growing, plus if i have a shower, im never pulling hand fulls of loose hair out any more. the spray nossle still isnt great. ie totally useless! TOP TIP, get a baby food syringe!! no really... the nossle broke straight away for me so i got a syringe from the pharmacy (really cheap),it has ml markings on the side plus really easy to use. the new stuff is transparent which is obviously better, but if you go to the gym, sweat dissolves any excess remaining on your scalp and then it runs down and dries as a white crystalline residue on your face!!

I have been on Spectral DNC for a year now and I now have a full head of hair with no areas of thinning or baldness. This is incredible. When I started a had very visible spots of baldness and now I have full, strong, and normal looking hair like I never even had baldness. This is the most impressive product I have ever used.
Make sure you get the right kind!

Okay, this is my second purchase of Spectral DNC. I'm a 23 year old male with some hair loss on the front of my scalp. Its nothing to horrible, but vanity has lead me to be weary and I'm trying everything possible to reduce the number of hairs that fall out on a day to day basis.
I bought spectral DNC about 4 months ago and used it for about 3 months. It lasted that long because i was only using it in problem areas and didnt necessarily apply it religiously (at least once a day, most of the time). Now, what I want to mention is that i was using the OLD formula. Without the adenosine and whatever other ingredient they've added. I did see some improvement and growth, but at the same time the liquid was yellow, some residue was left at the bottom of the container, and the pump broke on the 2nd application.
I just bought the NEW version from folica about a week ago considering this is the only sight the blatantly tells you they have the NEW version and not stocking the old one. The new spectral has some small, but significant improvements. 1)the pump design has been changed, it SHOULD NOT look like the pump seen in the display pic, theres no twist to it, its a straight shot. 2)The liquid is now clear, I havent really opened the bottle, but the stuff i spray on comes out white and actually a little foamy. 3)I LOVE LOVE LOVE what it does to my hair. Since I do have a significant number of hairs on the front of my scalp, i do like to still style them during treatment. With the old stuff, i would get some sort of matte-looking stiffness, but that was more annoying than anything else. The new liquid actually HOLDS MY HAIR UP! Which is excellent as now I no longer have the need for any other hair product to style my hair. Not only does it hold, but it thickens too! LOVE IT! Basically, I get outta the shower, wait for my hair to dry a bit, spray the stuff on my scalp, work it in, whatevers left on my hand i'll tossle through my hair and wallah! Anyway, if anyones still iffy about their minoxidil, they should try this, i wont guarantee it'll work, but i do notice a fuller hairline. Its definitely worth a try especially at a decent cost. NOTE: if you're ever worried about whether you got the new or old stuff, DS labs has a website with a batch number checker, i think you need the serial number on your bottle and it will look it up for you. I havent tried it personally, but its a nifty tool for those who are concerned. G'luck!

So far...there's no amazing results. Ive been using it for a month now and my hair feels healthier right now but thats about it .....no significant growth yet.(guess its a little soon)

SO I just got the DNC.... and have been using it for a month... getting ready to start second bottle...
too early to tell if there is any progress... but I am hoping it will keep my hairline from receding any further and grow some of the hair back.
One weird thing... my forehead has cleared up of any pimples i had after starting the DNC...
I was already on Retin-A micro for my face from the derm... and i dont have an acne problem at all... but i would consistently get little bumps on my forehead...
I am assuming the Triclosan in the DNC was enough combined with the delivery system to clear the little bit of P-Acnes bacteria i probably had on my forehead.
One note about the sprayer... it has never failed me...
here is what i do....
I shake the bottle like crazy... i mean rediculuous.... before applying... then afterwards... i jsut put it back in the cabinet...
if the sprayer does indeed clog... i am guessing the agitation from the vigorous shaking... i mean really get the solution to smack against the inside of the bottle for like 20 seconds... loosens it up...
never had a problem ... dont think i ever will!

I have been using the procut for my 4th week no so I can say I have no actual affects on the hair besides it feeling healthier and fuller. I a fair amount of fuzz starting but we will see what happens.
The whole nozzle clogging issue. I had it clog once on me.. but a cleaning of hot tap water and it worked. I have found if I just run the nozzle under warm water after I use it, that clears the nozzle and I have no issues.

I've experienced good and bad results with this product. It seemed to work really well at first, and then the effect wore off after 1 1/2 months. Not gonna knock this product though, because I think it works for many people. I probably just have some really strong genes. I'll continue to buy spectral DNC, and use it alongside other products (I added products later, when the effects of Spectral started to wear off for me). Right now, it seems to be working well with Spironolactone 5% lotion, proscar, and saw palmetto. With this combination, I finally see some conservative progress.
Also, the sprayer that comes with the bottle is NOT a problem if you just clean it. It does get clogged by the solution when it dries up inside the spray nozzle. But you can easily fix this by disassembling the sprayer, and then running it under warm water, like Jesse suggested in the post below. Hope that helps.

Ok, here is the sitation. I tried rogain which did not grow hair but may have slowed the hair loss down (although I dont have a twin brother who didn't use rogain as a comparison so I will never know if it truly worked). So I decided to try DNC. Within one week I no longer saw even a single hair on my hands in the shower. I cleaned out my brush when I began DNC and have yet to find a hair in my brush. After 3 months I have hair filling in my crown area and new hair where my hairline was years ago. Also, my hair appears to be growing in thicker everywhere else. Very impressive. I will stay on it until it ceases to work due to the human body adapting to most medications.

If your spray bottle clogs up, simply run it under hot water. That's all you have to do.

Product does appear to make hare thicker and have noticed some new growth in areas which before did not respond to Rogain. Overall good product leaves hair dry so use conditioner. Also the spray bottle is terrible or else its the product because it has clogged every spray bottle I have put it into. Must be the product which is causing clogging, I wish they offered a dropper...

Have been using Spectral DNC for a few months and my hair is growing in very nicely on my receding hairline. I also noticed that the hair on other parts of my scalp where there was no baldness, now seems to be growing faster and thicker. I have to say that I am very impressed with the results.

Been using it for 4 months and it seems to have definitely made my hair thicker and filled in some of the minor bald spots I had. My hairline doesn't seem to have really changed but my hair is overall healthier and growing faster.

I'm a female and my hairline is receding so I read the reviews and tried this product. So far I've been very impressed. It is the only product I've ever tried for hair loss so far. I may try Rogaine since it is less expensive now that my hair is actually growing in. Like the other reviews, I have complaints about the sprayer, but I guess if the stuff works, who cares.

I was losing hair in temple area and gave this a shot even though its not for temple hair loss. After one bottle hair loss stopped after second bottle hair coming back (Actually real growth not fine masybe type of growth)
Lay back if you spray temple otherwise it runs down and you DO NOT want that or get different type applicator but it works very happy with it .
My wife just ordered me another bottle from folica.

I lost alittle hair on the top in my late 20s (enough that it bothered me) . Used rogaine and extra strength rogaine which stopped the hair loss but no new growth.
2 yrs later tried this after a friend from the gym told me about it as never heard of this .
Either way it works GREAT it did grow hair for me which I didnt expect esp after 2 yrs of rogaine (took about one bottle worth to see it ) . Its a yellowish color not clear like rogaine but you can easily 'rub" it in with an eye dropper. I prefer eye dropper than the spray it comes with .
This isnt a review for Folica but must say amazing service compared to a place I once ordered from which took over a month .

I have been using the product for about 3 weeks now and notice my hair is truly growing back. I bought this because of reading of others who said it does wonders on their hairline, it's true. I have tried other products but nothing that gave me quick results like this one. I really don't have anything negative to say about it, but my eye brows look good too!

I think this is the best minoxidil based hairloss solution on the market. I've tried everything. I use spectral dnc twice a day and also take proscar and wash my hair with nizoral shampoo because it cleans the scalp really good. Using this combonation i have had good results in the last 4 months or so. Spectral really thickened my hair. And oh yea i use tricomin follicle spray on my hair once a day too because the minox in the dnc and the nizoral shampoo dry my hair out so tricomin helps great with that.

i have used this product for 2 months and it definetly stopped my hair loss. im not sure how good it is to regrow hair but it can definetly stop your hair loss.

PUMP ADVICE AT BOTTOM. I just turned 30 and have been using propecial for about 6 years. I started as soon as I saw the firt sign of the middle of my front hairline thinning. Since propecia doesn't work well on the front I added nizoral, 1 and 2% about 4x a week, also a walmart version of minoxidil. Over last 6year the rear has not receded but front slowly did. I already see result of small dark hairs and a lot of fuzz in the front. Impressed so far!! Pull the pump off the bottle, Wash the pump in very warm fast running water after each use, even run top of bottle under water fow few seconds. Shake off, dry off, all should be good !! Let me know if this works. Good Luck
