Great price and easy to use.

The price is great, the smell is very tolerable, and with the use of the dropper, application of the product is very easy. The only downside is that it will make your hair stiff, but if you usually use hairspray or mouse, then you will not have a problem. I've only been using it for two weeks so I don't have any input yet regarding the results.

I've used Spectra DNC for almost a year now and have generally been pleased with the regrowth. However, I had to stop using it because it was making my hair a bright YELLOW/ORANGE color. I started wearing baseball caps to cover it and the solution stained the caps so badly I had to throw them away.
I'd continue to use this product if it didn't make me look like Carrot Head.

I'm a 24 year old struggling with mild hair loss. It started about a year ago. I just noticed a thinning in the mirror, which continued to worsen. It may not have been a big deal to most people. But anyhow, I tried Spectral DNC for awhile, and everyone, including me, is noticing a difference in thickness of my hair. I've only used it once a day compared to the recommended twice daily. I'm pleased, I just wish it were cheaper. Oh well, I'll spend the money. Don't expect a big difference in the first month or so.

Although I have seen growth on the crown, I haven't seen any on the frontal area, beginning to think it doesn't work on the front but they figured it was a way to take some of rogaine's business.

All the hype about Spectral DNC is true. Did anyone ever think why this product is popular even though it is apparently not advertised anywhere? I would venture a guess that it is because people like me everywhere are seeing results and keep buying it and recommending it to friends. After over a year on Spectral DNC, I have almost complete regrowth. If you saw me, you would not think I was suffering from hair loss. I have just added Revita shampoo to my regimen and expect further improvements.

I have been experiencing some hairloss in the last couple of years. After my personal research of available hairloss products in the market, i have decided to use Spectral.DNC. Now i have been using it for little more than 2 months (9th week) and i can already see that my hair loss almost stopped, my existing hair feels thicker and there is new hair growth especially in the frontal hair line. So hopefully in few months ill see better results. The only negative thing i can think of is its price (i usually pay $47 Australian, for a bottle) and the spray bottle clogs up due to build up afew days after the first use, but i figured out that it also easily unclogs with a pin or needle.

I'm a 52, and have tried various products to stop or reverse my hairloss, including many months of minoxidil use, all with no results.
I have now been using Spectral DNC for approximately 8 months, and have seen the first real regrowth that I have seen in years. I have seen good results, even in the front.
No one is paying me to write this...and I don't know anyone connected with the product.
The other criticisms on this website are valid...the sprayer will clog about 1/2 way through the bottle, and even the new formula is a little yellowish, so if you have gray hair like I do, it may make it a little brownish. Still, at least for me, it has done more than any other product to regrow my hair. If it were cheaper it would be better still!

Used spectral dnc for 9 months twice a day and noticed no improvements from before and after photos, my hair continued to fall out but no faster than before and is only marginally worse.
with all of the positive revews i thought this would be a great product but was seriously wrong. My scalp was itchy to begin with but this gradually went away. I did notice vellous hairs develop aroudn the hairline in the first 2 months but nothing further happened. I gave it up 2 months ago because it gave me an irregular heartbeat and on occasions noticed i wasnt breathing.
It may work for some....but take the 5 star reviews with a grain of salt, dont kid yourself, check out hairloss forums with advice from ppl with hundreds of posts who have tried the treatments, not reviews that anyone can submit.
I give it 2 stars because it didnt make things any worse and it would be unfair because it probably does help some...and im too nice a guy.
If nothing works be healthy, fit and happy .... people dont talk to or socialise with people because they like the look of those styled strands on their head!

I've been using this product for 6 weeks and it is my impression that it is starting to do it's job of strengthening roots since I am shedding almost nothing these days compared to between and during the inital use of spectral. When I started using it, I lost a TON of hair at a rate much faster than I was previously losing it (easily 50-100 hairs a day that I could see). The other negative side is that the hair becomes quite brittle and thin-looking from the application. If this continues I will switch, but I am sticking for now to see if I can regrow some of my hairline.

I am 23 years old and I have been experiencing hair thinning since I was 18. But especially in the last two years I have lost a significant amount of hair... And I wasnt paying attention to it because I was thinking that it is just a temporary situation. Unfortunately I have just realized that this situation wasnot temporary. Therefore I have started to look for a product to stop my hair loss and regrow hair. Three months ago I have started using 2%minoxidil with Tricomin. I dont think minoxidil works, but I feel that Tricomin really works. First, it pumps up my hair, and next it thickens it, moreover I see some thin, fuzzy, small hair growing on the top of my head, I hope they will get thicker and longer.. Last week I was searching for other hair products since my minoxidil is about to finish. Then I came across with this product : Spectral DNC! I also bought the shampoo, Revita.. I have just started using these products and I am really hoping that they will work! I will write after I use this product for 1 month, hopefully with great results!

I gave this product a try since I read all the glowing reviews. (It looks like most of them have been placed by workers for the company--way way too much glowing stuff). Foolishly I gave it a try. NOTHING happened, NOTHING at all. With all the claims, the product feels like you have placed some greasy fat on your head. It even bounced out of the trash can when I threw it away. At least I got a laugh at out of it.

Hi people! I was wondering..i been using DNC now for only a week and ive already killed a whole bottle. Now according to the directions you should use it twice a day. I was wondering if some people could let me know if this is what they do.. or if once a day would be ok too. At this rate ill be bankrupt soon! :-0 another thing is that I have longer hair..but i avoid getting it all over it

The review below is just silly. How can Rogaine foam possibly work better than Spectral DNC when all Rogaine has is just minoxidil, while Spectral contains many other clinically proven compounds in addition to minoxidil? Perhaps you should check your bottle with the manufacturer it may be counterfeit or expired. Certainly has worked for me much better then Rogaine.

I've been using minoxidil 5% (rogain) now for about 5 years. I had moderate to good results with it (good when i had time to use it 2x a week.
Switched to spectral before 3 month and the first thing i noticed was the hugh hair loss increase. Thats the reason to quit it definitly.
Switched now back to rogain foam...nice critics btw.
gl to the spectral users, this product is not for me!!!

Started using this stuff exactly a month ago. Just like the previous person said, I have experienced shedding in the spots that I apply it to. Directions say shed is for 2 weeks but I have been using it for a month. I have a feeling this is the way it will be for as long as I will be using it. I will try it for a few more months but if nothing positive happens I will stop spending the money.
Great results both on the crown and the frontal hair line

Spectral DNC has worked better for me than oral Propecia. My hair on the crown has grown in completely (I use Spectral pretty much only for maintance now on the crown) and also great results on the corners of the forehead. This product has worked like a miracle for me.
4 months, only difference is increased hair loss.

27 y/o male, physically active (active US Army). I've followed the directions as good as as Private under the close scrutiny of a Drill Sergeant. After four months of use, the only difference I've noticed is increased hair loss in the places that Spectral DNC was applied. In the directions it states that some increased hair loss in the beginning was normal, but after four months? Kind of discouraging, and I'm not sure if I will continue use beyond 6 months if I see no improvement.

dont know if it working as yet,only been using it a month,
but was previously using rogaine for 4 years,but my hair around crown area feels thicker,once ive applied spectral dnc

I have been using religiously for 4mo now. Can't say that I've noticed little hairs but my hair line is definately fuller in the back. I am female with male hair loss that covers crown of my head. I have yet to see growth in the front but I am very hopeful that in time I will. FYI- when I first used I definately noticed a little hair loss but supposed to be normal so bad hair follicles grow back healthy. Now I rarely find more than 1 or 2 hairs in shower drain!! The back of my head looks TOTALLY normal. I don't have to try to use 2 mirrors and hair spray over what used to be a obvious hair loss area in back. For those who are complaining about clogging sprayer- just remove sprayer and clean inside and outside with hot water. This stuff dries just like hair spray- just needs to be rinsed. You do need to keep scalp clean- don't be lazy and not shower- I really feel this is important. It does dry my hair out and you are not supposed to use other hair products BUT. I shower and very carefully put a TINY bit of conditioner on the ends of my hair (long hair & bangs). I am VERY careful not to get on scalp- the oil could possibly block the effects of spray. Also- don't forget to massage into head. I realize now that I wasn't really massaging into front so I hope that was part of the problem. For those of you who are young and want to ignore the problem. WAKE UP!! I ignored it too long and now some of the follicles are dead and will NOT grow back. I wish this product had been around when I was younger. It does not dye your scalp yellow and does not leave a greasy feel on your scalp. It does have a strong alcohol smell but that goes away when it dries.
HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPS SOME OTHER WOMEN IN SAME SITUATION.
Great product for stopping hair loss and some regrowth. Good until next cure is found. Oh- and I did experience a small amount of dandruff at first but this goes away. Used a dandruff shampoo 2x a week for about 3 weeks and then no problem. yeahhh!!!!!
