I just wanted to say that I'm really happy with Spectral DNC. My hair started falling a few years ago and just gets progressively worse. I've been using Spectral DNC for about a year and my hair completely stopped falling out. I don't normally use any harsh ingredients or chemicals, but this stuff is really good. I don't what will happen in the longrun, but for now I'm sticking with it. I saw that there's a new one, Spectral DNC-L, for more extreme cases and it's a cream. Maybe that's even better for me since I consider my condition extreme. I just wonder if the cream will work during the hot summer months. The DNC soaks right into my scalp so I don't really have a problem with it in the heat.

I was using like 5 different products before that were working just fine, but it was a serious hassle. I switched to Spectral DNC and am pleased to say that my hair continues to grow and get thicker. The only other product I use now is the Revita shampoo (my wife loves that stuff).

I've been using DNC for about 9 months and it's working really well. I went through the whole shedding period and now it's been growing back steadily and looks much better than before I starting using it.

I know it may not work the same for everyone, but it worked miracles for me. After only like a month or so of using it I already could see a major improvement, and then after some time I saw a bunch of tiny hairs growing in. I use the shampoo as well, Revita, and it works really well together. I dropped all my other products and am just sticking with these.

My hair started falling out really early. I've battled hair loss for years. This is the first product I can't complain about. My hair has stopped falling out and new hair is coming in. I've been using it for about 6 months.

I'm a female, and now I know why they caution about using the 5% minoxidill. The thing I like about Spectral DNC is that it grows hair back into the hair line. I lost a lot of hair in my hairline due to wearing micro braids for years. I mean my hairline was eaten up, but I started using this and my hairline is growing in very nicely. Careful ladies, it will also increase your facial hair growth, but Folica has remedies for that. Small price to pay, I say for my hair returning. I have gone to using it once a day along with Folligen and I'm getting really good results...it takes a while and consistant use to get results. I think it will not work so well for those who have had hair loss for a very long time. Mine just occured recently so appearantly my follicles had not died off completely, just went dormant. I can't wait to see my results after a years use.
Caution, ladies with relaxers, minoxidill is very drying to the hair, I decided to go natural and cut my relaxed hair off to give my new hair a chance to grow in it's natural state.

I've been using this product for 9 months now and found it to be alot more effective than just minoxidil by itself. I found that my fallout almost completely diminished, which is the first goal for most of us baldies. But even after that was achieved i almost immediately started noticing the new Terminal growth, which is still coming throught today. Great Stuff.

I found this product great Definately some new hair growth, but because the product is so strong some peoples shedding stage is rather alarming. All i did was take something like procerin to keep the hair strong while it was taking a beating from the strong chemicals. Definately works for me been about 8 months now.
works but expensive!

you have to use it daily! if you don't use it you will lose all the hair you regrew! I am not sure if it has helped me regrow hair! but it does help minimize further hair loss!
I am such a jackass! I stop using it for a while and I lost all the hair i regrew but it costs to much so that is one of the reason I stopped using it!

It's been a full 6 months for me and nothing is happening. In the past month, my hair has gotten much worse. I'm thinking of dropping it. Not sure yet.

I rated the product Below Average but this is not yet fair because I'm still awaiting results. If it takes a year but still works I will then give it a better assessment.
It’s now five bottles and five months later with no noticeable change. I’m staring to now take monthly pictures. BTW, my last shipment from Folica was still the yellowish stuff with the sticky nozzle. Someone posted that Folica would only send the new stuff.

It has been 9 months that I have been using Spectral DNC. I use it 2x per day everyday. It is part of my hair loss regimen. I have been losing hair since 24 and I am now 36. This product has stablized my hair loss and started to regrow my lost hair. In my experience no one product is the magic bullet. Patience is definelty a must. I also use spectral rs and revita shampoo. Synergistically these products have worked very well for me. The rest of my regimen is:
1 propoecia in the morning
1 avodart before bed
1000mcg of biotin per day
2 provillus per day
2 hair genesis pills per day
Prior to me using the spectral products and revita shampoo I was just taking the pills and Scalp Med, Procede. I was still gradually losing hair. When I added the spectral dnc, rs and the revita shampoo a dramatic change happened. Hairs are growing on my temples and crown area.
In the past I used Scalp Med for 9 months. No change.
Procede-No results.
This is the first combination that I actually see pretty decent results. I highly recommend multiple products for the best results. Unfortunately it is a big time and financial commitment to keep up the regimen. At the end of the day I am finally seeing progress and results. Progress is slow but at least it is progress. Look how many years it takes to lose your hair. It also takes a while to regrow it. If you decide to use this product I recommend staying with it for a minimum of 6 months. Otherwise I wouldn't bother.

I have used Spectral DNC for one year, and I did have some hair growth. I also have used several other products and Spectral DNC is a good product for hair loss.
As effective on your scalp as water!!

After using this product for 4 month, which more than covers one complete cycle of hair growth, I have not seen any regrowth of any kind what so ever. To the contrary I actually lost hair I gained from previous use of over the counter 5% minoxidil.
How could i get regrowth from minoxidil and not Spectral DNC? Well it doesn't make sens since Spectral DNC contains minoxidil and addtional agents that facilitate absorption. That is according to the manufacturer.
The bottom line is that this product has been absolutely ineffective to treat my hair loss. I am going back to 5% rogain. Stauy away from Spec DNC and do not waste your money. I can only assume that positive feedback comments on this site are by employees of the labs that make this product.

I posted on May 2nd, and at that point had faced the shedding period brought on by the monoxidil in the product. I HAVE experienced some results in the frontal areas over the 6 months that I've used the product, but not as much as on the crown area where the girl who cuts my hair complained that I have too much there now. I hadn't lost much in the crown to begin with. Overall I'm pretty satisfied, my hair looks a couple years better than it did 6 months ago, and I hope that it will continue working for at least a few more years. Always use the dropper.

The price is great, the smell is very tolerable, and with the use of the dropper, application of the product is very easy. The only downside is that it will make your hair stiff, but if you usually use hairspray or mouse, then you will not have a problem. I've only been using it for two weeks so I don't have any input yet regarding the results.

I've used Spectra DNC for almost a year now and have generally been pleased with the regrowth. However, I had to stop using it because it was making my hair a bright YELLOW/ORANGE color. I started wearing baseball caps to cover it and the solution stained the caps so badly I had to throw them away.
I'd continue to use this product if it didn't make me look like Carrot Head.

I'm a 24 year old struggling with mild hair loss. It started about a year ago. I just noticed a thinning in the mirror, which continued to worsen. It may not have been a big deal to most people. But anyhow, I tried Spectral DNC for awhile, and everyone, including me, is noticing a difference in thickness of my hair. I've only used it once a day compared to the recommended twice daily. I'm pleased, I just wish it were cheaper. Oh well, I'll spend the money. Don't expect a big difference in the first month or so.

Although I have seen growth on the crown, I haven't seen any on the frontal area, beginning to think it doesn't work on the front but they figured it was a way to take some of rogaine's business.
