Not for straight lashes

I have straight lashes, which I curl prior to applying mascara. Since I only use mascara when I'm getting dressed up- I thought using a clear gel would be nice for everyday. Natural enhancement to the eyes without looking 'made up'.
Unfortunately, the gel completed straightened my lashes back out after curling. I use a Shu Uemera curler and have all day curl when I use mascara, even when I go without. This product took the curl out instantly.
I love Sorme's eyeshadow and face powder, but this one is a bust for me.
Should be okay for someone with naturally curly lashes.
