Will this iron work in Russia, south Russia? My Chi worked in Moscow but would not work in other areas of the country.

I am debating between a Sedu 1", Solia 1 1/4", and Solia 1". I have pretty long hair, that goes to my lower back but I want a straightner that can straigten as well as curl. Which straightner do you think would be best for my hair length but is also better for curling, flipping, etc? And do all the Solia straigtners work the same way but are just diffrent sizes?

does it contain tourmaline?
I know the solia flat irons contain tourmaline and emit 6 time more negative ions. But im not sure about the universal solia flat iron.. its because they haven't mentioned anything like that in the description!!! Have they compromised the effective straightening for the dual voltage?? I really need an answer for this since im planning to buy a best universal strightener available. I have seen good reviews on solia as sedu, but little skeptical about this universal one! I wish sedu was universal without having to search for the best universal straightener!

how does it work in the US?
i was wondering how the universal iron worked over here. i was thinking of buying a dual voltage iron and found this to be the best one according to the reviews. is there any other one i can use outside of the country?

What is the temperature?
The problem with most dual voltages that I have found so far, are they do not get hot enough. Can someone tell me what the maximum temperature is on this one?

I just bought this iron and the dial goes up to 450, however when I tried to use it it definitely did not get that hot at all. I'm sending it back hoping that it is defective. |
