I recommend this iron for short hair or bangs because the plates are small. Wash & condition hair with a Hello Hydration by Herbal Essences. Towel dry hair & add None of your Frizzness by Herbal Essences(dime amount) spray heat protection in hair, you can get this at basically any store in the styling or shampoo section. Blow dry hair on a low heat setting, high can damage more. Straighten hair with your Solia. Add any other products you might use to texturize hair.

WASH AND DEEP CONDITION YOUR HAIR BEFORE EVERY USE TO PREVENT DAMAGE. I SUGGEST YOU WASH AND DEEP CONDITION AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK. THIS, ALONG WITH A LITTLE OIL SHEEN BEFORE EACH USE, SHOULD PREVENT DRYING AND EXCESS BREAKAGE.
