Best Product Ever!!!

At first I was very skeptical about buying this straightener, because I've bought one in the past at a store in Toronto and it wasn't even worth all that money. I bought this straightener and who ever came up with this product was a genius. It actually works so good, and it makes my hair shiny and soft. I also use another product with my hair straightener it's an anti frizz serum which I also bought online. But overall it's a really good product, and if you have thin hair buy the 1" Solia it's good =).

I love this hair straightener. It is smooth--never catches hair like some other brands. You can set the temperature yourself. With some brands, you are stuck with one temperature. If mine breaks, I'll get another one.

I loved it at the begining, after a few months it didn't get as hot, but I was pretty happy with it. 1 1/2 years and it broke. it just doesn't go on, probably faulty wiring, but my hot tools lasted longer than that and it was half the price. I'm pretty upset. the warrenty isn't long enough

I have not yet tried the chi flat iron, but this particular iron works very well for much less money. I have very thick, medium length hair and it makes it smooth in minutes.

This is my first non-drugstore flat iron and I am not disappointed. My hair is shoulder length and has a slight natural wave that I could never blow dry completely sleek and smooth and this iron gives that look with little effort. It is also great to curl with, so easy and gives a really fun look. I really love this iron and have used it every day since I bought it.

I bought this product for myself as well as for my 15 year old step-daughter. I have only owned one other flat iron (cheapy kind) and didn't use it very often. I have been using my Solia Flat Iron every day since I received it last month and I love it. It has cut my "getting ready" time down significantly. I love the versatility of being able to use it on wet hair or dry and to straighten or curl my hair. I am now down to one styling tool. I would definitely recommend this product!

I have had my flat iron for a month and am very happy with it. It is my first purchase of a "good" flat iron so I don't have anything to compare it with except a discount store brand which didn't perform anything like this does. My hair is smooth and shiny after straightening. I have also gotten tons of compliments on the Folica bag that came with it which I carry my extras to work in! Delivery was faster than scheduled. Thanks Folica!

the moment i got it i called work and told them id be late!! i plugged it in sprayed sum protectant on my hair and in one swipe of this magic device my hair was gorgouse shiny, and STRAIGHT! then the next day i tried flips!my hair stayed fliped all day girls at my work asked what i used and now i do all there hair! i love this thing. if ur havin doubts JUST BUY IT!!!

This straightener worked perfect for me: it did an awesome job on my hair, and my hair never got pulled or stuck in the straightener. IT ONLY WORKED FOR 3 MONTHS!! It worked awesome til one day I was using it and it just shut off, and never turned back on.

My decision to purchase the one inch Solia came from the many reviews I read. I like the ease of use, lightweight, and the variable heat control allows me to protect my fine, color-treated hair. I also own a two inch Maxiglide, but I think this tool is easier to use and definately lighter weight. I'm a retired cosmetologist-so I had many avenues to purchase from-but I wanted to purchase what was most popular with the public.
Will not damage or dry out your hair

I have fine but frizzy hair. Other cheaper straighteners would straighten my hair but leave it dry and fried after using for a few weeks. This straightener is very gently on my hair and leaves it smooth and silky. No dryness. I also like that my hair stays straight for days, the frizziness does not return as it did with cheaper straighteners.

I have owned this product for over a year now, it works like a charm. I use it every single day, and my hair stylist says that my hair doesn't look damaged at all. What else could you ask for.

It does the job, stays pretty straight unless it is humid. I would recommend my other ION Ceramic Straightner with Tourmaline first. But overall a good buy.

I was using the Chi flat iron, but it just wasn't doing anything for my hair (especially straightening it like I wanted it too). I would have to go over and over to straighten my hair and it made my hair look dried out.
So, I started researching flat irons. I started out on the Conair site and somehow ended up here at Folica.com and started reading the GREAT reviews about the Solia. I was impressed. I read about others and their reviews, but I always ended up at the Solia. The price wasn't bad + free shipping, I decided to try it out.
I have been happy with the Solia. I would recommend it to anyone. I like the fact that you can choose the temp to put it on. Plus, you can use it on damp or dry hair. It leaves my hair silky looking - not dry looking. And it straightens my hair the first time.
My advice - Give Solia a try!

Good, works well. Not as good as my GHD but was half the price! So if you want one that works well but doesn't cost a bucket load this is a good straightener.

I got my straightener a couple of weeks ago and so far it seems great, no complaints for regrets! I have a small baby so time is of the essence, I can have perfectly straight hair in just a few minutes. The service at folica.com was great!

I just purchased my 3rd Solia flat iron and love all of them. I bought the first over 1 year ago for my long, fine, mixed/ethnic hair. At that time I was fairly new to flat ironing, but knew the store brand was frying my hair and didn't used that (hot tools) very often. My 1st Solia was the 1.5 inch size; it just glided through my hair. It was shiny, smooth, and didn't appear over processed.
Then I bought the 3/4 inch for my oldest daughter who was going through the $50 irons every 7-8 months on her course, thick, relaxed and short mohawk. She also loved her new iron and has used it religiously for nearly 1 year. No problems and her hair looks healthier, even with relaxing every 4-6 weeks and a ton of styling products. She's very athletic, so she washes her hair more often, thus requiring quite a bit of heat and maintenance.
I cut my hair a couple of months ago, after moving to a humid location. I bought the 1 inch Solia and gave the big one to my youngest daughter who has baby fine curly hair. We all love our Solias! Our hair is smooth, shiny, and healthy looking. Three different types of hair, variety of styles and processing, and 3 wonderfully satisfied ladies!
