I have beautiful hair when it is straightened, but the last starightener I bought was worthless. So I figured I would spend a bit more and purchase this product. Boy was it worth it! Its the best hair starightener ever, and I have had a ton of compliments. It lengthens my hair a few inches without making the ends look fried or split. I definitly recommend this.

I really like my Solia flatiron. I just had a friend with "perfect" hair tell me that my hair looks better than it ever has. I only have one negative comment. This flatiron is so hot on the outside. I have to be really careful not to touch my scalp with the outside of the barrel.

heats up fast. i have cowlicks at the front of my head and the solia fixes it. only takes literally 3 minutes to do my whole head because my hair is already considerably straight naturally.

I was very worried about ordering your product. My 13yr old daughter talked me into it. Ha! Well I took the chance and I am happy I did. Your Straighterner ROCKS!! It even works on my coarse hair. I recommend it to both Afican Americans and Caucasians
What a wonderful product!

I have extremly thin hair and most hair irons always leave my hair greasy and gross looking. This iron is amazing! It leaves my hair silky soft and wonderfully straight. I could not ask for a better deal!
The best I ever used

This was the best flat iron I have ever used. It staighened my hair faster than any other product I have used. It lasted all day and didn't frizz no matter how humid it was out. And it was humid! My hair has never looked to good! It was well worth the money.
hair straightener

This straightener is great. It slides through your hair and doesn't stick to it like some of the other extra hot straighters. Even on the low setting (I have bleached hair), the straightener works in one or two strokes!
The only complaint I have is that I wish there was some kind of comb attachment to run through the hair at the same time. I've had those in the past, and they speed up the straightening even more because you don't have to stop between each peice to come out the next one.
Pretty Good Product

I think the product worked very well, as far as creating shine and straightening; however, I am African American and my hair is about 2 inches below the shoulder. The 1'' was definitely too small, but that is a minor problem, because it does still work. It doesn't yank strands of hair out like other straightening irons, gets very hot, creates shine with or without product on hair, and your hair still has movement.
Bad things- well for 1 it's too skinny for my length, it's expensive and it's the only ceramic iron I ever used (nothing to really compare it too), but that's pretty much it. It heats VERY quickly, and even cooling down doesn't take forever. Overall, I would say it was worth it.
I'm going to order another one for myself!

I ordered the Solia flat iron for my daughter and she loved it so much I tried it. Now I'm going to order one for myself. I've spent way too much money on the cheaper brands & I was going to buy a Chi, but when I got on Foica's website I noticed the Solia was less expensive. I read the reviews & everyone was really happy with it so I decided to buy it instead.

This is one of the easiest flat irons I've ever tried. It heats up quickly and slips thru your hair easily without any pull or snag. I bought one for my daughter, tried it, and had to have one of my own. You will not be dissappointed!!
This is a great product!!

I have used several different flat irons and this is the best one I have ever used. It is smooth and fast. It heats up in seconds too. I have shorter hair and I still find it to be a perfect size. My daughter uses this too and she has very long hair. We both have our hair colered and I like the fact that you can adjust the temp.!

I am still trying to perfect my technique. My hair is fine and medium length and tends toward wavy. It takes me about 10 minutes to do my whole head, and I can touch it up the following morning. I'm still trying to find the right product to use so that the humidity in my area doesn't destroy my "do." Any suggestions are appreciated. If my hair gets any longer I will probably need the wider version.

I am happy with my Solia flat iron. It heats up amazingly quickly, and works very quickly. I have shoulder length naturally curly hair that is very thick and relatively coarse. I live in San Francisco where the weather is very foggy and damp. I am having very good results with this product. It gets my hair much straighter than my old flat iron from Target. I am still getting used to it though. It gets really hot and I'm not sure how long to keep it on my hair. But it does work quickly! I would say thumbs up!!
Exactly What I Needed!

I am very impressed by this product. It makes my hair so smooth, silky and STRAIGHT! I had it shipped to my work, so when I received it I ran into the bathroom to try it out. I was only able to do a really quick straightening, but even in that short amount of time my hair looked fantastic! It doesn't pull or snag my hair, and it only takes one swipe through my hair for it to work, unlike my old crappy metal-plated flat iron. If you're looking for a really good flat iron, treat yourself to Solia! It is worth every penny!
What a great iron!

If you ever tough about getting a True Ceramic Pro iron, get this one instead. I got the TCP and had to return it twice (once because the red coating came off after the 2nd use and once because it just didn't turn on). The solia is the exact same iron but better. I can even use it on my hair when it was slightly damp. Try it and see for yourself

This is the first flat iron, I've ever bought. My hairdresser uses, and told me to buy the Unil, but after reading all the bad reviews, I decided to buy this one (all great reviews). I use it every day, and am so pleased with it, especially after using my Hot Tools 1 1/2" barrel curling iron for the past 10 years to straighten my hair! If you are considering this iron, buy it, you won't be disappointed!!
