I got my Solia a few weeks ago and so far it has been great. I am very satisfied with my choice of the Solia Straightener. It has helped me in getting my hair back to normal instead of dry and brittle. I would recommend this to anyone!

I have naturally curly, think hair and this iron has earned me lots of compliments. It straightens my hair and really stands against humidity. Even in REALLY humid weather, my hair has been able to stay straight throughout the day. . .It even stays during a workout!

I used to use the Solano Sapphire flat iron, but this works much better. It leaves the hair shinier and doesn't appear to damage it as much. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I want to say that this was the best purchase that I ever made online. I was at first quite sceptical at first I had heard that Chi was the best, but after reading some of the reviews made online encouraged me that this was the product to buy. I've used it several times and it has never let me down. I have black hair and it has always been a struggle to find a product that will create the heat necessary to do the job right the first time. I have talked about this product to several of my friends andI know that they will be purchasing one as well.

I have owned only one other ceramic flat iron and I loved it. Two years in to my relationsip, while I was very dependant on it. It broke. I did not even want to go to work. I did not hav e a lot of money for a new one. So, my search lead me to FOLICA. The choices, the information...It was a wonderland. Anyway, I bought my Solia flat iron and I am happier than I have ever been. I can do anything with this! The curls come out beautiful and when my hair is ironed straight...the shine is blinding. I highly recommend this Iron and REALLY you can not beat the price for this product. ITS" GREAT !

I really love this iron!! I had just a cheap drugstore brand and was ready to go back to really short hair, But now with my new iron I can straighten my thick course curly hair in less than a half an hour.
In fact I just got my hair trimmed and told my stylist about your site because her iron was so inadequate. She was excited to hear that she could get a quality product at such a great price. Thanks!!!!!!!

I have really thick, but baby fine afro hair. It looks great when I gelle/mousse it, but every once in awhile I love the straight look. I'd usually take money out of the ATM, make a hair appointment on a Thursday eve, drop $20 and hope to God it wouldn't rain or be muggy til the end of the weekend. My hair always looked great but I didn't always have the time or the cash to go to the salon. I tried a so called "professional" Conair straightener but it didn't get hot enough and broke my ends. That was money wasted. I thought the $85 was a bit much but oh my lord it beats the $45 for the Conair and the $20 per salon trip any day. The girl at the local salon thought I'd taken my business elsewhere. It's so easy to use, heats up quick, stays hot and is so smooth going over by delicate hair. And the shine is amazing. I will never use a relaxer on my hair again. Curly today, sexy straight tomorrow. Would definately suggest this product to others or buy again if ever need be.

I have very thick, coarse hair, and am picky about what I use. I needed to borrow a friend's straightener, and doubtful as I was that it was going to work well (not much works to tame my hair), I was ecstatic with the results. I got my own and have been using it for over a year now with superb results. Well-worth the money for frizz-free, easy to manage straightener and hair!!

This is a great product! It straightens great, makes my hair soft and shiny and, most importantly, does not pull or break the ends of my hair. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This is a wonderful product! It was a bit pricey, but it paid for itself in a week. This iron was definitely worth the $85.00 I paid for it.

I've had the Solia for almost a year now. It striaghtens quickly, but my hair doesn't stay straight in the humid Florida weather. As soon as I step out the door the ends curl and my whole head frizzes. I'm going to try the Chi to see if that works any better.

I simply love my SOLIA. I used a GHD in Sri Lanka and when I came to the US I was disappointed with the Vidal Sassoon Straightener I got. I came by the SOLIA by chance when I was surfing the net.I am so happy with my purchase. They promised delivery within a week and I got it in 3 days at no extra cost! I would not survive without my SOLIA. It's great and my hair looks great too.

I am going to return this iron immediately because it made my hair TOO straight. LOL. Just kidding. That's what I wanted, right? I love this iron!! this is another product that works good for under $80 :) I bought the Hai Tourmaline Ionic blow dryer off of ebay for $70, which was great, but now combined with this flat iron I'm loving the results I get. I won't lie and say my hair is totally glossy, but my hair is in pretty bad condition from all the tugging I did on it with my cheapo flat iron for several months. I have looked at a picture I took when my stylist first used a Chi on me (back when I did nothing to my hair but wear ponytails - WOW it was glossy!!!) to when she uses a Chi now (and I'm styling 3 times a week) and it looks kinda drym but pretty straight. There is a big difference - so the condition of your hair plays a part in the results you get. I can still get a lot of shine from using Bumble and Bumble products, Redken smooth down, and Ojon (not all at once of course). So all in all I am totally satisfied with this Solia. I am finally seeing straight hair where my old straighter never worked. I used to have a big funky wave in the back. FINALLY, I get results like my stylist. Halleluah. LOL. I love this iron, I love how it handles, I love the non-slip grip, and I love how the plates kind of snap shut nicely, and I love how the plates pivot.I also like the fact that it has an adjustable heat setting. I have tried the Chi before at home (I was silly enough to pay $120 for one at my salon), and it scorched my hair - with this one I can adjust it where I want and not worry about it, but it's nice to know the extra oomph is there if I need it. In the mean time I'll just deep condition like crazy and hopefully this will be less harsh on my hair.

I have very curly long hair. In order to get it straight I had to use the solia on the highest setting, which unbeknowst to be was frying my hair. When I was done I felt okay about the result until I looked on the counter and saw tons of pieces of my broken off ends. I had used the Sedu prior to this and absolutely loved the result, but didn't like that the design of it. I think I will try the chi next and if that doesn't work, go back to my cheaper meathods! Solia felt only a step up from those. A very small step.

The flat iron works great, but READ the INSTRUCTIONS before use. I turned the iron on high, because my old iron was only 270 degrees, and I fried my hair not realizing this flat iron heats up to 450 degrees.
