We have 2 other straighteners at home, that seem to really end up frying the hair. This straightener was bought solely from reviews, since we were actually going to purchase the CHI first. After reading the reviews on the Solia, I decided to go this way. I like the product a lot. It's easy to use, the size is perfect to be able to control what you are doing. The cord doesn't get tangled, and it seems to be so much easier on my hair. I am very glad we purchased this product. I would recommend it to anyone!

I have had quite a few flat irons, but Solia makes fantastic flat irons ! My hair ( down to my mid back ) is usually dry looking, and this flat iron transformed my hair into flowing gorgeous hair ! I love it !

This flat iron is great!!! Makes my hair straight and shiny. I used a Hot Tools flat iron before and thought it worked great. After I used this iron once I knew that the Hot Tools iron was not that great of a product. I recomend this product to everyone. It's small and gets really hot (there is a dial for the temp so you don't have to have it really hot).

I am a "newbie" with flatirons but my stylist recommended I try one. I have fine hair that's cut into an above chin-length bob, so I'm probably not the typical customer to use a flatiron. But it works great to smooth it out and give it a more refined look. I love it! This iron heats up in seconds and leaves my hair looking healthy and very shiny. (I use it on a fairly low setting.) It's easy to use, and a great addition to my stash of styling tools!

It heats up super fast, it is small but very efficient. It slides through the hair easily and leaves it looking silky. There is one thing I would like to complain about, the cord has one of those squares that you have to accomate and the revolving cord at the end of the straightner makes a clicking noise when it revolves. It really annoys me.

I was so pleasantly supprised that this flat iron worked so well. It tamed my wavy hair and made it shine.

First of all, Folica gave me good service. I ordered it and received it in a matter of a few days. This iron is good, does excellent work. So far so good..... love it. It does wonders..... after having a bad experience with True Ceramic Pro, I wasn't sure if I could trust another one, after reading other customer's comments on this item, I took my chances and it was all worth it. I am a very happy camper and trust this baby to there for me to make me look nice. ;)

I LOVE SOLIA SO MUCH!!! I HAVE HAD IT SINCE AUGUST AND I ADORE IT. EVERYTIME I STRAIGHTEN MY HAIR IT COMES OUT PERFECT NO MATTER HOW TIRED I AM. IF OYU WERE TO GET ANY STRAIGHTENER, I RECOMMEND THIS ONE OVER ANY OTHER TYPE OF FLAT IRON IN THE WORLD.....INCLUDING CHI!!!

I purchased this item in september 2006 and I have no complaints. The Solia flat iron works great. I had long hair when i purchase the item and it gave my hair a nice sleek shine plus I could curl my hair with it as well. I have short hair now and it still gives me a great look and feel. The free pouch comes in handy to especially when you are in a hurry and leaving the house with your solia flat iron.

I purshased a Solia straightner on November until now is been functioning great I love it. It leaves my hair really straight and soft and also what I like about it is that I'm able to control the heating temperature. I like it better than the CHI straightner i had to return it 3 times because It wasn't working properly. Solia is not so expensive and it works good.
Works just as good, if not better than the CHi

I have been very pleased with the Solia flat iron. I have a Chi flat iron, but I can not adjust the heat on it, it just gets too hot for my hair. My hair is relaxed and the Chi just got too hot for my hair. But the Solia I can adjust the heat and it is great, it give me the results that I want and I am very pleased with it. I was going to purchase a Turbo Chi (where I could adjust the heat), but I believe the Solia flat iron is just as good are if not better than the Chi. Thanks Folica!

When buying this straightener, I was pretty sceptical as to how well it was going to work for me. It almost seemed like it was too good to be true. As you know flat irons in salons etc. cost around $150 and UP, and more than not its UP lol but i was so suprised when i tried the Solia flat iron. It works awesome. Just like at the hair dressers when they can style your hair perfect because they have the 300 doller irons...thats how well it works. and the price is so right. I love it. No complaints here.

I really like how the product works and how it's so versitile. The only thing that I didn't like is that the ends get really hot you almost can't hold on to it to flip your own hair. Other than that this is a good product.

I had an infrashine (very good!) and thought it was the best. It stopped working and I tried this one and it is THE BEST! It's a great price and I can't believe it works so well.

I decided to upgrade to a smaller ceramic flat iron when I got my hair cut short. The tourmaline interested me b/c my prior flat iron was just ceramic w/o tourmaline (and it still worked well). I did not want to spend the money for a chi if I could find a more moderately priced one that gave me good results. Well, I was very impressed with this iron. It gave me very good results that lasted through out the day. My hair is not curly, but not straight either, and gets all out of sorts in humidity or when any moisture is present. Using this iron prevents that for the most part. I love the adjustable temp, even though I need to use it at the max. I would say to be careful of buring youself as I have already done that twice! I would definately recommend this iron!

Received her SOLIA as stated on web sight. She usually has the frizzes, but now theire gone. All her frinds compliment on how shinnie her hair is.

I've had curly frizzy hair my whole life until I got this straightener. The time it would normaly take me to straighten my hair was cut in half and my hair looks a hundred times better

I have very thick BIG shoulder-length hair, and this iron makes it super sleek and soft. It's so simple to use, and I can do my entire head in less than 15 minutes.
I can finally reproduce the look I get at the salon at home. My stylist uses a Farouk Chi iron, and I get the same results with the Solia Tourmaline. I should've invested in one of these a long time ago!

I am an African American women with thick hair past my shoulder. This flat iron is EXCELLENT, it will get you hair bone straight and silk it out. I keep mine set on 350.
