Having previously used an old Revlon straightener that pulled my hair, the Solia straightener was a huge improvement! It does exactly what it should, doesn't pull or fray my hair, and heat/cools quickly. Great purchase, especially with free carrying case.
I would pay the regular price

The best flat iron I have ever owned. I was on the hunt for the best iron I found it in the Solia. I'm going to tell you how good it is. I bought the pink solia for my sister and me to share. I didn’t want to share anymore so I gave it to my sister then I bought another pink one for me, my mom liked it so I gave it to her. I just bought the black solia; hopefully I get to keep this one. I will not come off the cash like that unless it was worth it.
love it

I recently bought the Solia Flat iron and i love it. I have a lot of hairdryers and irons at home, so many that my husband got mad when i purchased an other one. I know I won't buy a new flat iron for a long long time. With the Solia iron it takes me half the time in the morning to straighten my hair. I have bangs and the 1 inch iron is perfect to take care of them. The only thing that I don't like is that the wire makes a weird sound when I use it. I thought about sending iron back because the sound annoyed me the first few days but when I saw the results of how great my hair looked i did not want to give it away anymore and the noise does not bother me anymore.
Have fun with the Solia girls!!!
It's nice

I first had the pink Solia 1inch and thought it was awful, but I decided to try this one. Yes, the plates don't line up and yes, it squeaks majorly, but overall, it works really well. The squeaking doesn't bother me; I just got used to it. My hair is extremely thick but not long, but I don't know. The Solia works good!!

My hair is very course, but this flat iron makes it silkly smooth. I only use a little bit of cream and press. Makes a great alternative when you need to break from relaxers to strengthen your hair. The price is well worth it. Will buy again from Folica.
Great Iron!

I bought this Solia 1" flat iron for my daughter over a year ago and it still looks brand new. The plates do not get that product build up that my "cheapo" brand has on it right now. So, I finally wised up and ordered and just received one of my own to use. Immediately I plugged it in at work and fixed what my "cheapo" iron tried to do that morning. I love this iron, it is a good investment.

I bought this straightener about a month ago. Prior to that I was using my roommate's Chi turbo, which did a great job on my hair, but was a bit too much on the wallet. After reading this product's reviews, I decided to give it a try. Success! It is just as good if not better than the Chi. I use it on my damp hair and it saves me lots of prep time. Highly recommended.

This is the best flat iron I have ever had. I have naturally curly hair. I can go outside in the humidity and no frizz. I live in Louisiana and it is very humid. I like to wear my hair straight in the summertime but it is too humid. I can do it now that I have this one.
I really like this hair straightener

I have very course, wavy hair and it works really well (at high temperatures-- the lower settings don't do as much on my thick hair). It comes out much smoother than my old Conair iron. Makes nice, soft curls too, if you wrap it around the iron as you go down the hair-- that's why I got this size instead of a wider one, and I'm glad I did.
I LOVE IT!!!

I love this product! It works sooo much better than any chi! It also protects your hair unlike the chi that just straightens it. I totally reccomend this to any person w/ any kind of hair. It will make your hair look different unlike ANY other straightener.
Love it!

I love this flat iron. It curls and straighten easily. Definitly worth the money. I have had it for a year now I use it every day. My sister had to go out and buy one too.

Awesome product! Before this straightener, I had one that was about $20 and it took me FOREVER to straighten my hair. Even when I was done, it did not look that great. Right when I bought this, I tried it out and it was amazing! It really is not that expensive for a good straightener. It even took the bumps out of my hair after being in a ponytail all day. HIGHLY recommended.

I waited 5 months to review this iron, just in case it happened to die on me prematurely or something. Fortunately, it's working just as fabulously as the first time I used it. It heats up very quickly, has a wide range of heating temperatures, flattens remarkably, is a great size, doesn't kill my hair, and leaves my hair resistant to humidity. I have fine hair that likes to wave in the front and is very sensitive to humid temperatures. Although I had to set the temperature a bit higher than the user manual suggested, this iron has been virtually perfect and I highly recommend it. Definitely worth the money.

I have both the Sedu and Solia flat irons. The sedu hands down produces the best shine and straightening. The Sedu however does not come in a 1 inch iron so I bought the Solia. Solia works fine but I am not as impressed as I am with the Sedu iron. The temperature control is excellent and I like the fact that the plates move with your hair.
the best!

I have gone through so many flat irons and this is the only one that lasts years and actually works. It doesn't pull my hair out or break it, it heats up very quickly and it is SO inexpensive for it's value! I was able to use my last one for to years... a very long time, considering I have gone through six CHI flat irons in an 18 month period, simply because they are not durable by any means (I take VERY good care of my styling tools!). GREAT product!
