Solia Flat Iron

This is the best iron I have purchased. I own a Solano sapphire and also a T-3 tourmaline. The Solia is by far more superior, kinder to the hair and easy to use. I will definitely recommend this product to my friends. I wear my hair in the classic bob (modernized) and this tool makes styling my (wavy)hair much simpler.

I bought this for my wife at Christmas and shhe is incredibly happy with it. She had originally wanted a Chi but after research I decided to go with the Solia. When she opened it at Christmas she told some of her friends had mentioned the Solia being better than the Chi in the long run. It gets warmed up in less than 30 seconds and her hair looks amazing. I highly recommend it. Now she doesn't have to lay down the big money for the hair salon as much. Highly recommend for your wife!
Great little iron...

I have very thick, long, wavy hair down past my shoulders and was worried the 3/4 inch iron was too small to get the job done fast. Well it used to take me 45 minutes with regular hot irons that damaged my hair, but even this tiny 3/4 inch ceramic glides through my hair and straightens it in 10 minutes flat, leaving it looking sleek and healthy. I'm happy I went with the little one--it weighs and costs less than the other Solias and works just as well--the size of the pads doesn't really matter. Also, because it's smaller, it can get closer to the roots, and makes it easy to curl and flip hair as well. I'm very happy with my purchase.
Great Product

Bought this iron to replace a "Hot Tools" that went out after less than 3 months. Bought the Solia based on the the reviews from this site and have not been disappointed.

This product is easy to use w/phenomenal results. My older daughter's nappy thick curly hair is straightened in no time and my younger daughter's fine wispy hair is straightened w/o any damage. Folica's service was terrific too.
Best men's straightner...

Well... all I can say about the 3/4" Solia Hair Straightners is "AMAZING"...I have been growing my hair out for that Jesse McCartney look - blonde beachie but stylish look.
Well as soon as my hair was getting longer, it started to curl around the back, and started to develop a slight wave to it which wasn't letting me get the look I wanted. My friend suggested hair straightners - now, in New Zealand there is a gap in the market, cheap ones are everywhere up to $60USD and then you can only get GHD's for $250USD!!! I wanted something that was affordable and something that I could use if i decided to keep my hair short again... My friend straightened my hair with GHD's and it looked amazing, so I thought... I will DEFINITELY get some straightners... but i can't afford the GHDs. Went on the net, read all the reviews for the solias, and decided on them.
The solias were the answer, the job was just as good, if not better than my friend's GHDs, and because of their small design, I am able to get right close to my temple and straighten my bangs with no worry of burning myself (yes, this happened with the GHDs - nabbed myself on my ears)... also the GHD's dont have a temperature control, so for blond hair like mine it really dries it out a little too much, but with the solias, i can turn the temperature down and straighten my hair a little more gently...
AMAZING - every guy with hair longer than 1" should own these - and boy is it fast to do in the mornings - not a chore at all... so glad i got these...
amazing

I have thick, curly unmanageable hair. It used to take me at leats 3 horus to do my hair before I bought this. And even after spending three hours on my hair, the next morning I would have to spend another hour getting the kinks out. I bought this and now it takes me less than an hour to do my hair. I can style it in different ways and I rarely need to touch-up my hair
not worth $90

I really didnt like the solia. I bought a chi and it works so much better. The solia makes your hair look dry and dead and pulls on your hair.
I love it!

I have very long and curly hair, and I could never find a straighter that I liked, worked and kept my hair straight for more than a couple hours. This straightner is the best one I've ever seen. It steams when its on my hair and leaves it really soft, (people are always touching my hair when I straighten it)and it stays straight all day. I'm so glad I bought this- it was definitely worth it.
The Best Flat Iron Ever!

I am African American and my hair is totally naturally, no relaxer and no other type of chemicals. I went from an afro to beautifully straightened hair. People at school actually thought that I relaxed my hair. The Solia is perfect for very short, course hair. My hair is about 4 inches long and the Solia made it very easy to flat iron. The flat iron is easy to use and it heats up super fast. The shipping was fast, I got my order in two days. I highly recommend this product!!!

This is my good hair straightener! I love it! I really like that it only takes 30 seconds to heat up. I tried to do the wet to dry thing, but it doesn't work for me. Other than that, my hair is always silky and smooth with this product.

I have really curly hair, and my curls are really close to my scalp, and this straightening iron gets REALLY close to my scalp to get those curls as well - it doesn't pull hair either. You can flip it out, curl it under, or iron it pin straight! :-D It's wonderful!
i love my flat iron.

i am so glad that i brought this flat iron. you plug it in, you turn it on, adjust the many heat settings that it has, and within seconds it's at the temperature you need it to be. i recently cut my hair into a short bob and my old flat iron couldn't do the job. but, the solia flat iron @ 3/4" works wonders. it smoothes and leaves my hair feeling and looking great. i have a really busy schedule and the solia flat iron keeps my hair straight well into the next week.
Great for styling!!

I had a chi straightener before, but because I have short layered hair, I wanted something for styling and the Chi didnt cut it. The 3/4 inch straightenr is really easy to use for styling and straightening even if your hair is wet. It gets really hot really quickly- probably in about 30 seconds. I love it and it is definitely worth the money, plus the free shipping!!
i didnt like it at all...

i bought this straightener, and the shipping was good and everything. when i saw it on my porch i went inside and opened it and tested it. My hair was already straight because i straightened it that morning, but i didnt see a significant difference like i had expected. The next day, i tried using it again, it took me probably 45-50 minutes to straighten my hair, and my bangs were fryed. How staight my hair was after that use was just as straight as my hair is when i spend 20 minutes with my 2-year-old hot tools straightner. Tomorrow i am mailing this one back, and im probably going to order the chi, my hair dresser recommended it. For anyone looking for a good straightner, i would definitly not recommend this one.
Great product!

Originally, I had bought the 1 3/4" Solia straightener, but I returned it because it was too heavy to use for 1 1/2 hours on my waist-length hair. Even though this smaller 3/4" flat iron is suggested for shorter hair, I use it.
The iron heats very quickly (this is how you know it is truly ceramic). My hair feels smooth and silky after I use this flat iron. What else can I say? I love it! :)

this flat iron possessed all the things i was looking for: a plate with as small width for my short hair, ion technology for a shinier result and wet/dry capability for when i'm on the run and don't have time to blow dry my hair before using the flat iron. it heats up right away and the swivel end for the cord makes it easy to move it around when i'm working on my hair... thank you!
