Even if you have long hair, this will tame those short little strays around your face. I use this after I use my larger one, or I'll use it just to touch up my style. Great iron, great price.
Awesome iron

This flat-iron is the bomb! It makes your hair soft and doesn't fry the ends like other products I've used. Doesn't product that burning hair smell; and the variable heat setting is great.
WORKS-For Dudes Too

I'm a guy, I have horrible hair; it's like a curled notty sock on my head. The longer it grows, the worse it looks, till it gets buzzed right off again. This was my only way of making myself look presentable. And I'm not the "G.Q." or "Dum-Jock" type; I want my hair long again.
This thing WORKS.
It gets my hair so straight, and so smooth (in like 5 minutes) it's ridiculous. If I just used this iron, and didn't brush it, I'd look like Vash the Stampede (do a google search on TRIGUN)!
I just wish I had it before I cut my hair off when it was long. STOP CUTTING THAT RONALD MCDONALD/ SOCK HAIR/ GRANDMA DOO OFF, AND DROP 80 BUCKS ON THIS! You won't regret it.
The only bad part about it is: When you sweat hard enough, or get your hair soaked, it'll go right back. So you use it every day, but so what, it's just hair to dudes, right.
Get it.
Spectacular

This iron is awesome! I just got it today, and like a lot of you out there, I was so excited about getting it that i went ahead and straightened my hair. I let my hair air dry, so it was dull and curly/wavy when i straightened it. After I straightened it, it was so increadibly soft and shiny and it is so easy to make your hair look natural when you use this iron because of the wrap around plates. With most irons, the look comes out stick-straight, but it looks really fake. With the Solia, it still came out stick-straight, but I was able to flip my hair under so that it looked natural. Also, as you know, it's winter, which means lots of annoying static. But this iron didn't make my hair static-y at all, like my old Revlon did. Overall this product is AWESOME! I would recommend it to anyone with short to shoulder-length hair, just as long as it's not incredible thick. If it's really thick, I would go with the Solia 1".
P.S. I think that this iron worked better than the CHI that my friend has been using on my hair. The CHI made my hair really oily and really static-y. This is definitely a better buy than the CHI.

i won't go into long detail about this iron, i just want to say that it is the best one i've ever used...quick to heat, keeps frizzies away. I haven't had a bad hair day since using this iron....no kidding. it's fabulous.

This straightener is amazing! It's really small but it gets the job done fast! I have thick wavy hair and it only takes me about 15-20 minutes to straighten my hair perfectly. It makes my hair feel thinner and silky. You can style your hair with it too. Sometimes I use it to flip the bottom on my hair out, or I can curl my hair with it. Although it creates a few flyaways now and then, it's an excellent straightener.
Worth the money.

Very satisfied. Salon quality. It has made my hair manageable and soft. Great for short hairstyles, but good for long unruly hair as well. I used iron for creating waves in my hair extensions. Just hope that it will last for many years.
Great for short (and even medium) length hair

A Little Background Info: I like my hair straight and I used to spend 1 hr or more everytime I washed my hair blowdrying it straight and then using a ceramic straightener to make it stay straight.
The Situation: I wanted to cut my hair short and give it a messy/punky look but my hair is curly and I was afraid that it would be impossible to straighten and I would end up looking like and old lady with a perm.
The Solution: I bought the 3/4" Solia iron and I gotta say my hair is as low maintenance as it has ever been. I quickly blow dry it so that it's faster to straighten and it takes me less than 20 minutes to get my hair looking fabulous and the best part is that it lasts 2 to 3 days so that I don't have to style it every day. Also, I used the iron with medium length hair for a few days before I cut it and it works great with longer hair as well (it's not just for super short hair).
Best Straightener I've had!

I highly recommend the 3/4 inch straightener for people with short hair. My hair is naturally straight, but this straightener takes out any wave or curl from humidity that is in my hair. Plus, it makes my hair look and feel shiny and smooth. It's just as good as the Chi, but a much better bargin!
Love It!

I purchased this a couple of months ago and so far, I love it. It is great for my short hair. I have never had trouble with it pulling my hair. It heats up fast and I like the temp. control. I previously used a CHI 1" but it stopped working within a year so I switched to a Solia. I would recommend this iron to anyone especially those with short to medium length hair.

I have naturally curly hair that is mid-length. This flat iron I use for the very front and the nape of my hair and it gets so straight. For everthing in between I use the 1 inch by Solia and my hair gets so straight it looks like I got a fresh relaxer in my hair. This is the best flat iron! It heats up fast and last a long time. I have had the 1 inch for about 2 years now. A must buy for anyone who wants straight hair and does not want to go to the salon every week.
It's a good iron...

I like this iron, but I'm not in love with it. It works well for my hair because it is very fine, but I have used it on my cousin's hair, which is very thick, and it doesn't work as well. I would recommend this iron for those with fine hair!!!!

I bought this iron after reading all the rave reviews. I was really disappointed. My first impression after opening the box was that it is cheaply made. Then it PULLED my hair every time I tried to use it horribly! This morning after I used it there was actually a piece of broken hair between the ceramic plate and the plastic. And when I tried to flip my hair out, it would crimp it and leave a big line, I would not recommend this iron; I am returning mine ASAP.

This flat iron is perfect for men. Before having this I would use my girlfriends and it worked good but she had a much bigger size and it was harder to use with shorter hair like mine. The overall performance of the straightner is amazing, i have no complaints. It heats up almost instantly and performs great. The swivel cord is actually realy cool. The plates provide even coverage quite well.
Thanks

This is my first hair straightener and I absolutely love it. My hair is short and wavy and within ten minutes, it's sleek and straight. The delivery was quick, too.

This flat iron is nothing special. My Ceramic Tools iron that I paid 12.99 for is actually better, because it gets my hair flatter than the Solia! In my opinion this is just an average iron with a high price tag!
Truly Love it!!

It is wonderful.I truly love it. I bought a ceramic iron previously and I didn't enjoy it as much as I like my Solia ceramic iron. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cermaic iron.

this flat iron is the best flat iron I have ever tried. It did not give the straight hair result that makes my hair looks flat but it still gives a bit of texture so it looks natural. The small width helps with straighten out the newly grown hair and bangs. I have an over-bra-line hair length but this thing still works great and I only spend 30 min max to straighten my hair. I bought solia 1-1/4" for my cousin as her christmas present and planning to buy another one for my other cousin whose birthday is coming up. Excellent flat iron!! I could curl my hair with this too and look even better than using curling iron. have it for almost 1 year and still works great!!
