i love their service and the fast shipping... I thought it would at least take a week or a month, i love their product & hopefully it will be good for at least a year. well when I got I was sleeping n mom was like ur stuff is here by mail i was like what is it? then i saw it was my straightener n i thought i was dreaming or what cuz its the only thing i have gotten in less than 3days by mail, n its from america. I am really happy from Folica :) Thanks alot for the great service.
P.S. I told my sis right away n she ordered the same product
works well, but a litte heavy

My hair has grown a lot since i bought my last straightener (a 1" Chi). My hair used to be shoulder length, now its down to mid-back. I decided to try the 1-3/4" Solia because it got such great reviews for longer hair. It straightens as well as my Chi did and keeps its heat well. It weighs more than I expected (which is its only downside) and I would recommend this to anyone with long hair.

this is the best straghtener i have ever used my friend got one and i used for a week and it is amazing!!! i love it!! it works so well and my hair is healthy and smooth. my hair s very poofy and very wavy/curly so my straightener was not doing the job well at all. i am ordering one these asap because it works so well. i might not give my friends back till i get mine.

I just got my straighter over the weekend and I am truly impressed with it. I am an african american woman with fine to medium hair living in florida. I have been wearing wigs and braid for the past 4 years because I could not find a hair dresser I could trust. I decided to try the solia brand based on conversations I've had with my co-worker and so far so good. We are starting to get into cooler days here in florida so hopefully by next spring/summer my hair would have gotten use to being straigthened again and I will have a sucessful 2008 summer.

I had a professional iron before (can't remember name, 5 years old) that I burned out in Europe because i didn't use a converter... This iron FAR exceeds the performance of that one. I use it on damp hair (not really wet) and I have no need to blow dry anymore. Saves tons of time. I love that the temp goes to 450... I use it at about 380. I have really kinky curly hair and this makes it smooth and straight. Love it!

I got my Solia flat iron and I'm very pleased, it has been a major difference in my hair. My hair is now silky and soft. The only thing is, after a while I notice my hair gets flippy at the ends and I want pin straight hair. I am even thinking of getting the Solia hair dryer because I love the Solia line of products

I purchased my iron in Dec. 2005. It was great. The only small annoying thing is that the plug is so large. Honestly in the past year and nine months I havent used it too much...and then one day it just stopped working. The light won't turn on or anything. Did it happen from me dropping it? Is it defective? I'm not sure. All I know is that the 1 year warantee has expired so I'm out of luck... The blue HAI iron is just as good and a little thinner (so you can get closer to the scalp) and less expensive!

I got my Solia straightner for Christmas from my parents. I loved it. It works realy good. leaves your hair silky straight. but the problem is that just yesterday (not even a year pas passed) it just broke on me. i was straightening my hair and it just shut down. i have never dropped it and i dont leave it on for too long. it straightens very very good. but i will tell u that it will break in a year or less :( im sad :(

this product is really amazing. my hair is really curlly and frizzy and when i used this product people thought i had natually straight hair. it didnt look like i straighted it at all and when i put my hair curlly again people would ask me if i cured it! true story.

I have wavy/curly hair and have never been able to straighten it. Well, now I can with much ease. It only takes me about 15 minutes and I'm done. I love it.

This is a great flat iron! My hair is wavy and very thick and coarse. This flat iron just glides right through it without any tugging or pulling leaving my hair smooth, and soft!

so i bought my solia in november, and let me tell you, the comments on here totally changed my mind about it.
i have impossible hair, and the solia didnt make a big difference.
then now, last week, it just stopped working,
so i had to send it back and i still havent gotten it back.

I defiantly love this flat iron. i am not joking i have a bush as hair and this tamed it down and makes it not frizzy. It used to take me like 45 minutes - 1 hour to straighten it but now it only takes like 20 minutes! i Love this Iron!The only bad thing is that it gets kinda hot when its on 450 degrees.
