Best Flat Iron!

This is the best flat iron I have ever owned. I have long, thick wavy hair and it only takes about 15 minutes to straighten my hair and it lasts all day. You can also create waves which is awesome. I can't say enough about this flat iron.
love it

i'm very happy with this flat iron. i have two teen daughters who love this product even more than the chi flat iron. they also love how it can be used to curl as well. it heats up really quickly and is easy to use. great product.
The best

When I saw the photos I have to admit that I did not believe what I saw. So, naturally when I received it in the mail I put it through the test of just washed and blow dried biracial curly thick hair. Wow, it worked just like it showed. I will never spend money on garbage ceramic products again. Thank you all so very much.
Its ok ...

After using a CHI flat iron for over 5 yrs, i figured there had to be something out that was better than the CHI. I bought this one because of its great reviews and because its tourmaline. If this iron was supposed to make my hair look healthier, I really haven't seen a difference. I still don't think that this flat iron is better than the CHI ...but its close enough. I definitely like the fact that you can change the tempature settings.
Absolutely love it!!!

I love this flat iron and I have tried several. I tried the more expensive ones and always end up coming back to my Solia. My daughter liked it so much I had to get her own because she kept using mine. I am sticking with Solia!
Liked it at first

I already had a CHI 1" and needed something bigger so I opted for the Solia after reading some reviews. At first it was great but the more I used it, it seemed to damage my hair. I could hear my hair pulling on the plates when I would straighten it, which doesn't happen with my CHI. I don't straighten my hair often but I won't be using the Solia much anymore.

Excellent hair straightener, made my rough and coarse wavy hair very soft silky and straight!! when I use it sparingly (once in 2-3 weeks), it helps me keep the health of my hair up :) I love this product

I purchased this flat iron based on the good reviews I had read. I have natural wavy hair and this flat iron leaves my hair dry and frizzy. I would not recommend it to anyone. I bought my daughter the Silk II and love it. It is so much better than this one and about the same price. The Silk II will leave your hair feeling healthy and not frizzy at all.
no thanks

the solia is not for me... it would grab and break my hair it did not glide smoothly over my wavy well taken care of caucasian hair. this was not a good purchase for me as i thought it would be when reading the reviews... I now own a coriolis sxe black with silver skulls and it is the best flat iron i have ever owned. I gave my solia to my mom and she loves it so I'm happy it wasn't wasted money. It is all personal preference. So if it works for you great!!
it was okayy...

i didn't really like this much. I thought it was going to be good from the reviews but i wasn't too satisfied. when i first got it I liked it, but it doesn't really make my hair very soft or silky.
So long Solia!

Basics of hair care, I don't want to hurt my hair... I wash & condition my hair. I use BioSilk to protect my hair from flat iron heat... Solia catches my hair and breaks it.
I sent Solia back. Never again.
I used the CHI for years, switched to a Sedu after the Solia attempt months ago and LOVE it. I loved my CHI, too but Sedu has a new technology and five heat control settings that I tried and LOVE MORE!

This flat iron is amazing..I can straighten my curly hair in no time with it! Definitely a great investment because it will last forever. I had it for 4 years until I broke it by getting it completely wet on a vacation. I'm shopping for a new solia now because I loved it so much.
My old Sedu was much better

I owned a SEDU before purchasing the Solia, but after 4 years, the cable melted!! So I wanted to buy something else, so I woulkdn't have to worry about an electrical issue again. When the Solia arrived, I wasn't sure if I liked it or not... so I gave it a couple of more tries..just to find out that the old SEDU was way better. The Solia makes a crackling noise when passing on hair, sometimes it pulls on hair. It is too thick , so it makes a border on the root of your hair, making it obviuos you had it straightened. And overall the Solia does not make my hair feel as silky as the Sedu, so I am returning this and getting a Sedu again.
Awesome

I really like this tool. It is the first tool that I have used that will straighten my hair after i put a perm in my hair. I would buy this again and would buy it for my sibblings as gifts it is worth the price. I also used the styling spray the Kit came with, tool, travel case and heat spray well worth it..
Best Straightener

This straightener is truely the best you will be able to get. I have chest length thick fizzy unruley curls that are very stuborn. I used to have a $20 revlon and that obviously did not do the job. I then ordered a Sedu from this website and it didn't heat up well and didn't work any better than the crappy revlon. However, The Solia is literally the best thing that has happened to my hair. It still takes me about an hour to straighten, but it gets my hair pin straight, silky smooth and thin! After blow drying, I only have to run it over each piece 1-2 times! This straightner heats up in seconds and gets up to 450 degrees which is exactually what I need. My friends Chi's only go to 350 degrees and if you have hair like mine, it makes all the difference. Try this striaghtner-you will love it!
Love it!

5 years going strong

Just wanted to go back in time and say I sold ANOTHER friend on my Solia flat iron. I recently took the plunge and professionally straightened my hair. My friends loved the look so much they asked what they could use without the chemicals and I let them try my flat iron. Since buying it, I've been able to sell at least 5 to my family and friends. I have thick, long wavy hair and for the last 5 years have been able to achieve straight shiny hair with my Solia. Its worn the test of time well, lasting longer than my blow dryers and curling irons! If you are searching for a great flat iron, make the investment - you won't be sorry!
Better than Sedu!

As a two year Sedu customer, I just purchased my first Solia flat iron... and I love it. The temperature goes up to 450, which cut down hair time by 30% for me. The 1 3/4 plates are great, too. I love the blue color, which really doesn't add any productivity, but is asthetically pleasing. This flat iron is the best I've tried. Hands down.

I'm not happy with this flat iron. I thought since it had such amazing reviews that it would be really great. Instead the conair infiniti & GHD worked better then the Solia. It doesnt grip easy to your hair nor does it flat iron your hair smoothly. It pulls hair as well. I'm disappointed. Don't waste your time on this flat iron, trust me it's not worth it.
