Straight but puffy and fried

i just got this straightener for christmas today and ive been wanting this one for over a year and im so dissapointed cos it just made my hair puffy and fried it even more. it took for ever to straighten but it might be because i have really thick hair. and i have used other straighteners that work on my hair. i read one review that i a girl tried hers the next day and it worked but the day before it didnt work at all. ill try it tomorrow.

I bought this about 4 weeks ago.. its great i was intending to buy a CHI but i saw the reviews and this straightner seemed to have better reviews and a better price so i bought it... AWSOME is all i have to say! It heats up quick the ceramic plates make it so your hair doesn't snag and the best part is this straightner leave ur hair smooth, most striaghtners give that chrunchy feeling. This one leaves a "Just showered and air dried your hair" feel, its soft. Also the first day i used it it was raininng NO FRIZZ AT ALL. I defiantly would recemmend this to anyone who'd wanna buy this. also i am asain and i do have naturaly striaght hair but i have kinks here and there enough if i strunch it i'd be wave like misha bartons but it takes me easly 10-15 mins to straightner my hair... if anything choose this straightner!

I was so excited to get this product, because I have thick, curly, wavy, dry, hair all at the same time. I mean I got it pretty straight with the Helen of Troy product, but it got my hair stuck and stuff. Solia did a very good job, it didn't make my hair to staticy, or it didn't pull my hair out, it got it straight. The thing is though you have to be patient, keep on going over it a few times. I like how it has high temperatures, that was helpful.
So this product is very good, and i hope this review was helpful.

I love this iron, my hair is very thick and a little frizzy, when I use this it's smooth and soft, it works great!

i love my solia! i have had it for about 3 weeks or so and it makes me hair VERY soft,shiny,and of course striaght! it stays that was too. TRUST me this is the straightener to use!!and its worth every penny! -XOXO-

I purchased this flat iron on a Monday at 8AM and it was on my doorstep when I arrived home from work on Tuesday. It is superior to my previous Hot Tools iron. I do not need to blow dry my hair straight prior to using the iron. It is easy to style the ends. Very straight and flat hair. I did a lot of research prior to making my purchase, and I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this product based on the customer reviews and they were right. This is a really good product. I have very shoulder length tight curls and this flat iron straigthened my hair in half an hour. It stayed hot. My hair also did not revert when the situation can humid..like a steamy bathroom. Highly recommended.

I purchased a ION straightener from Sally's beauty supply that was 100 dollars and it still was not doing what I had hoped it would for the price.
I read the reviews on the solia and decided to try it. I am completly amazed at how well it worked. It took me half the time to do my hair because I only had to run the straightener over each peice of hair once! Usually it took me more time. The solia heated up almost instantly and it straightened my naturally wavy and wirey hair perfectly! The best part is my hair has lots of body. It is not so flat that it looks unhealty and thin. I will never buy another iron again!!!!

I have very wavy, frizzy hair and the flat iron was the best product ever invented. I started off with a cheap version from a drug store, then moving up to a slightly more expensive. After the one i had broke in my suitcase on vacation, it gave me an excuse to get an even better flat iron. I went online, checked out reviews and chose the Solia. I used the iron this morning and my hair looks like my hairstylist did it. I never got these results from any other iron. I highly recommend Solia and Folica.com as they were very fast and reliable.

Before purchasing the Solia, I went through 4 flat irons. Each costing approximately $35. I believe this product is cost-effective and it does a much better job than the previous flat irons I've had. My hair is shinier and not brittle like the other flat irons left my hair.

I've gone through 3 flat irons (Con-air and Vidal Sassoon) but this beats them all...period! After using the Solia Flat iron, my thick hair felt much straighter, silkier and smoother all day long and not just for a few hours.
I would highly recommend this product to all. It does work really well!! I'm very impressed and happy with my Solia Flat Iron.
p.s. Shipping to Canada was not a problem and I'm happy with the service that I got - quick and efficient -- I ordered on a Friday and received the flat iron on Monday.

My friend has this straightener it works awesome. My hair was so straight and it only took 5 minutes. My hair is very curly and out of control. Now my dad is buying me one for xmas. IM SO EXCITED.

This product is the best iron I have ever used. It made my hair stick straight. I am bi-racial. My hair is very thick, long, and my curl pattern is spiral. I would recommend this iron to anyone with curly hair!
The only problem that I might forsee with others is if you have damaged ends, they will show more with striaght hair. Keep the hair hydrated and trimmed and you should have wonderful results!
PS...I live in Orlando Florida....(humid climate)

I've been reading all the reviews and it sounds great, plus my friend uses it and says it's wonderful! I haven't bought this straightener yet, but will be getting it for Christmas! (only 12more days!) I've tried other flat irons b4 from walmart or something that just don't work (Revlon, Conair, etc.) I CANNOT WAIT TO GET MY FRIZZY, STRONG WAVE, HAIR PIN STRAIGHT! OMG ITS GOING 2 LOOK SOOO *** CUTE! HAHA! :D:D:D

So far sooo good my hair doesn't frizz like at all, but then again, its winter time and the humidity is almost nonexistent.... but i like it it heats up fast and i get done in less then 5 minutes, i'm a low maintenance kind of gal.... so its good that it does the job fast, my hair is thick but straight, well and a bit wavy to good luck to you all i would recommend it, it is a bit expensive but it heats up faster and hotter then other flat irons, and we've gone through a few...

OK fist just let me start off by saying OMG! this was so totally awesome. my fro never stays straight, i have such bad curls i can cut a hole in the top of my fro and put a pot with a plant in it!!! I was so happy with this because now no one calls me that guy with the weird fro, they call me THE GUY THAT LOOKS LIKE A GIRL! OH I COULD JUST DIE IM SO HAPPY! THANK YOU SO MUCH SOLIA!

The hair straightener works really well on my hair and I have really thick hair. It gets it pin straight. The handle gets a little hot though, and that is why I did not give it 5 stars.
