I got my Solia straightener a few weeks ago. I have only used it twice so far but it has worked really well on my hard-to-manage hair. Plus, I don't feel like my hair is getting fried the way it did with my Revlon straightener. My only complaint would be that in the directions it said that you could curl the ends of your hair or create soft wave by wrapping hair around the straightener, but that doesn't really work, you just get a stupid looking crease.

THIS SOLIA FLAT IRON IS THE BEST. I HAVE LONG, THICK, WAVY HAIR, ALWAYS IN SOME FORM OF FRIZZ. 20 MINUTES---FLAT, STRAIGHT, SHINY, SOFT. NO PULLING OUT OF HAIR LIKE SOME OTHERS I HAVE TRIED. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I have long, curly hair. I used to blow it out first and then flat iron it - just to get the look I wanted. I like my hair straight with curls at the ends (not the straw - straight look). I could not achieve this with my old iron - as it didn't really allow me to curl the bottom of my hair. Therefore, I blew it out first. TWICE the trouble! With the Solia flat iron, I just iron it and flip the bottom of my hair. My hair looks great! I just lent it to a friend, if she likes it (which I'm sure she will) she's buying one for herself! By the way - Folica.com was the cheapest one I found for quality items!
It's a keeper!

I have had this iron for about a month now, yet have only used it twice since I like to wear my hair in lots of different styles. What I like most about this product is your hair can be damp and still come out stick straight and bone dry. The first time I tried the iron I didn't have the temperature up high enough. This time I set the temp to approx. 350 degrees. Yesterday, it rained as I was doing my hair, and it gets very humid here in the south, but my hair is still straight today! Because I like serious shine to my long layered, medium-texture ethnic hair (mildly relaxed) I used tresemme instant heat tamer styling spray & biosilk on each section to straighten and then used optimum oil therapy shine booster on each section and used the iron again to flip the ends up. Super cute with my layers and plenty of compliments. Sorry no pictures!

The Solia Flat Iron I purchased was of little use to me. I spent an hour doing my hair and it just didn't do what I expected. IMO it was $98. wasted.

This flat iron has worked great, I love it! It has cut my styling time nearly in half, and keeps me from over styling and drying out my hair. I have VERY thick, coarse and curly hair, this flat iron helps me keep it sleek.

I have bought several straighteners...but none of them worked well on my frizzy, curly, thick, medium length hair!!!(Conair was the WORST!)All they did was slightly sraighten my hair and make it frizzier!! My friend straightened my hair with her Solia Straightener and it was GREAT!!!It took 15 minutes(because i have sooooo much hair) and it was BEAUTIFUL...my hair was straight and silky!!!(my hair before was sooo curly...it made my hair 2-3 in. shorter!!!) I am now buying one just like hers!!!

I have tried lots of hairstraighteners and this one is my favorite!!! I even like it better than the Sedu. Its fast and it makes my hair silky smooth and it last all day! You can even use it on damp hair!

I have thick coarse latina hair, this flat iron made my hair soft and straight. I previously owned Flat Irons from Hot Tools and this one is great.

I bought this iron so I could avoid blow drying my hair in the morning. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. It will dry wet hair, but will not make the wet hair look as good as if you had blow dried it first. Plus, it takes a LONG time (and I only have medium-length hair). This was a lot of money for me, and wasn't really worth it. I still have to blow dry.

I was so excited when I got my new Solia straightener almost a year ago. It does everything it says. I can use it on wet hair, use less time, and get it very straight. The problem is it works a little too well. If I ever want to wear my hair curly, most of my hair turns into big waves instead of curls. Hopefully if I straighten less often it will go back, but I highly doubt it.

I have lots and lots of long curly hair and after trying my roommate's CHI flat iron I decided to buy my own. I decided to try the Solia since it offered the same as the other irons at a more competitive price and the reviews were excellent. Well, it just didnt work for me, the results were like those obtained with any cheap iron. I tried it with my hair dry, wet, with straightening balm... Nothing worked. I had semi-straight, puffy, dull hair. Probably this is a good iron for someone with short-medium wavy hair.

You guys have GOT to try this AMAZING flat iron...I never thought my wild mane could ever be so straight and silky! This flat iron works great on my hair and I haven't noticed any split ends! It's a wonderful flat iron for a great price. I recommend this flat iron to anybody.

When i first heard about the Solia, I was like 'WHAT IS THAT?' because for sooo long i had heard only about tha Chi Flatiron. IN my opinion, the Solia works a lot better than the Chi and it works on all types of hair. For example, I have very thick and wavy hair. With this straightner i can make my hair perfectly flat. I have a friend that a thin,wavy hair and it works just as well on her as it did me and the list goes on. But in conclusion, like i said before i love this flat iron annd wouldnt give it up!

i have a gold flat iron, and this works just as well. it does help not to damage the ends of my hair as much as my gold one, and it helps to hold the straight longer. its a very good product.

I have thick hair and it take me about 1.5 hr to do my hair in the morning. I use Solia every other day and it takes me about 20 min to do my hair, and it is perfctly straight and shiny.

I am very happy with the Solia flat iron - it is far superior to the Wigo I previously had. Works on slightly damp hair which is a big benefit especially during the summer time.

This Flat Iron is so Great, I have really curly hair and it straightens it so well. Usually I blow dry my hair and then flat iron it because its so curly. Now all I use is this flat iron, its really great!
