This product is awesome! I love how straight it makes my hair. Most flat irons cannot even keep down the frizzies, but this one really does the job. It makes my hair so shiny and healthy looking. I would tell everyone, they should get this product.
awesome results!

i have pretty thick hair and i have always had trouble straightening it. it usualy takes me about an hour, but it took me about 15-20 min to do it with this straightener! it was awesome! it takes a little bit to heat up where some other straighteners heat up very quickly, but i love the results it gives me! i would definatly buy another one!

Ok, I was a previously owned the Chi, however the Solia is the the best. I love it, I am happy I decided to follow the suggestions of others here and purchase it. My hair looked great, heats up quickly, and if it can straighten my thick wavy hair, i think it can do anyone. I don't know how durable the Solia is, I can only go by the previous reviews, however I can agree with the complaints about the CHI. Both mine and my friends stopped working after the 1-year-warranty expired. The light wouldn't stay lit and it wouldn't heat. But I am very happy with my new straightener, I <3 the Solia!!

Before I didn't think there was a flat iron that would acutally work, because I would straighten my hair and 20 min later my hair would go wavy! I got really frustrated with my irons untill I found this website and I thought I would try the solia, and it was a great choice! solia actually keeps my hair straight! I don't have to worry about it getting ruined anymore! I would reccomend it for people with really curly hair that just can't find the perfect straightne, solia is what your looking for!
This iron was meant for me!!

I had ordered a cheapy flat iron from hsn.com. When I had called to confirm my order, they had told me that my files were lost and they couldn't order me another one because it was already all sold out. I was so upset!
Then one day I found folica.com and decided after all the reviews I've read, to order a Solia 1 1/4" flat iron. This iron is so great. It glides over my hair like butter on hot bread!! I'm actually glad that hsn.com lost my order because then I probably wouldn't be as happy with that cheapy flat iron as I am with this Solia flat iron! I am definitly going to recommend this flat iron to all my family and friends! It is so worth the price!
works great

This solia straightener works great. make sure u put product in your hair before you use it so that your hair is protected and so that it doesnt get damaged. There are many heat options so it works for all types of hair. i have thick, wavy hair and after using the straightener for 5 minutes its perfect. the one thing i really like about it is that it doesnt make your hair soo flat that it looks weird. the straightener makes your hair look naturally flat, not overdone. get it!! its a great deal and works great.
It actually is great! Great for long hair. Easy on the hands!

I bought this with some doubt that it would work for me. I had never used a straightener before, and I have pretty wavy hair so I wondered if I would get that perfect straight hair that I wanted. I also didn't know if I could hold the straightener since I need hand surgery- but since the shipping was free I decided to give it a try.
And I LOVE it! The 1 1/4" Solia actually does straighten wavy long hair. My hair is down to my bra strap, but I have no problem with this width of straightener, even though the recommendation is that a person with long hair gets the larger size. I just blow dry my hair as straight as I can. Then I run the straightener through my hair and it is done in around 10 minutes! And it doesn't hurt my hand to use it!
I bought this fully expecting to have to return it, but NO WAY!! I love the results! Here are my before and after pics to see the difference too!

I recently purchased the Solia Tourmaline Ceramic 1-1/4' flat iron and I LOVE IT! It was between this one and the Chi. Everyone had a Chi so I thought that it was a good product until I read all the reviews about the Solia. My hair looks so shiny and healthy now! I would definitely recommend it!

If you are serious about getting healthy and straight hair this iron is perfect for you. After using my sister's Chi for about a week I knew that I had to get a new flat iron, because my Conair just wasn't cutting it. My hair was getting really damaged and since my hair is fine it was easily noticed. After reading the reviews and researching up on my investment I found this straightener, which looked the best for the price and for the quality.
I had doubts before I received it, but once I got it in the mail (a month before I was supposed to on Christmas) I whipped it out and my hair became perfectly straight, as good as, or better than the Chi. I would easily say that this straightener matches the quality that the Chi straightens, and it is more durable considering my sister's is about a year old and the handle is kind of melted.
My friends have used it, one which has super thick hair, and it straightened and flipped out too! I would seriously recommend that you get this product!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, I was skeptical since we had used cheap flat irons before and they never worked properly. Her hair was never completely straight and would get frizzy in no time, plus it took forever to do. She has very thick hair, it takes about a half hour to 45 minutes to straighten. Unless she gets it wet, it stays straight and shiny until the next shampoo. Humidity and fog don't seem to affect the results either. I thought for sure she would need constant touch-ups. Her hair is much more low maintenance now than when curly. I highly recommend this iron!

This thing really works, bottom line. I've worked with the CHI...which also works but this iron is less expensive, has more features, and feels more sturdy(aka less cheaply made). On the highest setting for that thick curly hair this iron is like a hot knife through butter.
Worth every penny :)
it's better than other people said it was.

ITS A GREAT BUY.
I read Folica's reviews for hours trying to find the best flat iron. My hair is so dry and damaged, and i live in HUMID florida, so it never stays strait. My hair is naturally very wavy and it used to take me at least 45 minutes to get my hair strait. When i wanted it to look really nice, i would bring out the curling iron... that added 15 more minutes.
Let me just say: it took me 10 minutes to straiten and flip my hair. It is SO SHINY and feels so healthy. It was raining all day today(so that means its humid out side) and when i sat outside for 30 minutes (usually when it would friz and go back to its wave) nothing changed. It's still strait and shiny!!!! And no matter what anyone says, it's a great straitner. (i have gone through expensive chi's,solanos, and not-so-expensive remington, and revlon. This is -by far- my favorite.)
What a great buy!

Ok i have wavy to curly hair and I was always disappointed with flatirons i would buy at your regular retail stores.. I even bought one from Sally's Beauty Supply store and i would end up with striaght hair alright, but it would look very dry and end up in frizzies within an hour..
I came across the Solia and seen before and after pics.. Those convinced me bigtime, so i figured i should try it out. Well i did and I love it. My hair looks very silky and feels it as well. It doesnt end up in frizzies and stays flat all day. I would recommend this flatiron to everyone.. My sister even wants me to get her one for xmas..

This straightener is the best of the best..!! My hair is thick, curly, and puffy.. and i look really bad with my hair natural.. but when I straighen it with this straighener, which i do everyday,I look great.. if i must say so myself. =] The only negative thing I have to say about it is that it does dry your hair out. But I suggest you use the new Tres. hair protecting spray ( not sure of the exact name) But i've had this straightener for a while and it is by far my best one, and i've gone through many. It is definately worth the small expence.
I love the Solia

It works. I have frizzy, wild, thick hair, and the Solia makes it straight, smooth and so healthy looking. Even my husband, dad and brother have commented on how beautiful my hair look -- and for the men in my family to notice my hair, it has to look outstanding.
Solia is the best!!

Condition of Hair:
Wavy, dry, feels like hay, texture of it is, my hair is course, often dandrafy after use of Hot Revlon Iron, Under cold or humidness it goes back to curly, I can run my hands through my hair without tangles usually when I use pantine Pro V, if I use any other shampoo such as suave or Herbal Essessens, it will usually become knotty and will not be able to run my hands through my hair. My hair is highly damaged on the front from bleach dying and constant dying of colour treatments. Also, I'ved used relaxers alot
( I used to have course hair, but now its medium, because of the constant, relaxing with chemicals.)So with the revlon heat Iron, without Pantene Pro V it will usually break, Pieces of my hair will break, like hay.
Revlon Iron: Will usually leave my hair frizzy when I don't use pantene pro v shampoo/conditioner. I hate it when my scalp gets dandruff the next morning because I heat
it every day. My hair cannot be combed, it will break alot of my hair strands and makes it extremely frizzy.
I take about 10 minutes to get my hair streight, but it comes out a bit wavy and somewhat streight. I have to have it in the highest dial (7) on a revlon Iron, in order to get my hair to be streight.
Even then, the next day after waking up from bed, my hair is a mess and very danduffy, I know the dandruffy is pretty much from the iron emitting too much heat for my scalp, because head and sholders shampoo does not get rid of the dandrafy stuff, but thats the only way I can get it streight only on the highest setting on my revlon.
I been, dying my hair every two weeks, bleaching every 2 months, relaxing/chemicaly every year, and Ironing with the revlon every single day, every now and then, I give it a break, but my hair looks hedious after it dries after a bath even a comb will not help it, it will frizz it and yank some of a my hair. It only reacts/responds to heat when dry.
Solia: I read all the great reviews on the solia, and decided to give a try.
1. Lowered Frizziness. Left it smooth, did not leave the "Fry" feel to it. Used the 300 Setting for it.
2. Does not let heat damage my scalp!!
3. I got results the 1st day. Made my hair healthyer looking, as you see from my pictures.
4. Definely worth the purchase.
I am impressed.
Ps: Sorry for blurring out my face. I am shy about putting my face on the internet.
