Great flat iron that doesn't damage your hair

I have been using my Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron for over a month now and I love it. It's quick and easy to use and it leaves my hair straight and soft afterward. Before I got it, I was concerned that using a flat iron frequently would damage my hair. Now that I've used it, I think it's actually less damaging than using a blow dryer, which I can now skip. Not only can I style my hair in the same amount of time or less than I did with a blow dryer, but I don't have to do it immediately after I wash my hair. So if it's late at night and I'm too tired to style my hair after a shower, I can do it the next morning and it looks exactly the same.

Works well and heats up super fast. My hair is medium curly/frizzy and this straightens perfectly and only takes a few minutes. Highly recommend.

After reading all the reviews - I gave in. My time has been cut down to less than 1/2 the time - I gladly gave up the other one I have been using for several years - think of all the time I could have saved!! I wish I would've done this sooner:) Try it - you'll love it.

i have used sedu and chi flatirons, and find the solia tourmaline ceramic ion flat iron the lexus in the field. it is easy to use, and you can touch the top of it and not burn your fingers. i am waiting for them to make one that does damp and dry hair and i will surely buy that one as well.

I have only used the Solia for several weeks, but love it already. My hair is in great condition! It heat within seconds. The 1 1/4" is perfect for straight or making a little flip at the ends.

I love this iron - I love that it has an on/off switch unlike some others that need to be unplugged to switch them off. It heats up super quick and straightens my long thick hair in no time. I love the heat proof mat - I have the scorch marks on my counters to prove that I needed one!! I would recommend it and it is a great price. It arrived very quickly.

I was using an older professional flatiron before I purchased my new one and the difference is remarkable. It heats up in 30 seconds and leaves my hair looking very smooth and healthy. It looks like I don't have any split ends when in fact, I have plenty...It is so gentle on my hair and gives me the flat, straight look I was after. I have very long thin hair, and I would recommend this particular flatiron to anyone. I received my new iron in less than 4 days from online to my door. Thank you Solia

I have owned two CHI hot irons. And since I have owned the Solia I have never been more satisfied. My daughter has extra thick curly hair and it used to take an hour to straighten. Now it hardly takes any time at all.

This straightener is not just made better than the sedu , my sedu hit the floor one time and cracked , my solia has dropped several times and has stayed together. I absolutely love how this straightenes , I have fine hair and my daughter has course hair and it works for both of us!!

Second one I have bought in 1-1/2 years. My daughter loves this flat iron. However, the iron that I bought about 1-1/2 years ago quit working after the cord messed up where it twists around at the base. As it twisted, it would turn on and off. Something that costs almost $100 should last longer than that. I have bought hair styling appliances that cost less than $30 that lasted longer than that. After 1 year, the factory warranty was up so I had no choice but to buy another one.
Nothing beats the Sedu!!

I bought the Sedu about a year ago and wanted to try a new straightener to be able to make curls with as well. So therefore bought the Solia after reading so many "great" reviews. My opinion after trying it is, BUY SEDU! Sedu is the absolute best! Solia didn't get the kinks out of my hair, burnt the hair and didn't curl it in the least(after following instructions and reading tips online and many tries)! After straightening with the Solia, I has to get my Sedu out and actually redo the job! You get what you pay for, and the Solia is cheap! Buy Sedu!! Trust me, it's THE BEST!!! DON'T BUY THE SOLIA!

Even on the lowest setting, I had damage to my hair. I thought by buying an expensive flat iron, this wouldn't happen anymore. I guess I was wrong.

this straightner is perfect!! its wet to dry, smaill, gets up to high temps, has a free little pink pouch and cute tote that comes with it and its just PERFECT! now i have never heard of the other two straighteners that are supposedly so good chi an the other one so i chose this one and i think i made a great choice! seriously ive had it 3 months now and its like brand new every time i use it this is not a joke its real! get it!!!! YOU WILL ((((NOT))) REGRET IT! :)

Amazing. I read the reviews and decide to take a chance. I was unimpressed with results from my last flat iron, but the Solia really does produce excellent results, far better than I had before. Part of my hair is straight, but part of it (the gray...) is coming in super kinky. This flat iron, with decent heat protectant products, is making all the difference. I give it 5 gold stars.

Hi Everyone...
I went to the mall about 2 months ago and tried the Solia flat iorn. I fell in love. So, I would go to the Folica website every day hoping to get the iorn. I have very thick curly hair so I HAD to blow dry my hair first and then straighten it. However, with the Solia all I have to do is let my hair air dry after I wash/condition it and then flat iorn my hair. This is the only iorn that has ever worked on my Puerto Rican hair so perfectly. This iorn truly is a "girls best friend" and I would recommend it to anyone.In addition, Folica's customer service is great too. Thanks to the folica team,now I can have the hair I always wanted.

As much as this flat iron was hyped up, I had very high expectations before I used it. The pros: heats up VERY quickly, VERY hot heat setting for thick hair, doesn't pull out hair like cheaper flat irons. I don't have too many complaints about this but I think I expected a miracle product, which this IS NOT. $88 is the MOST I'd pay for this.
DUDE THIS IS SERIOUSLY THE BEST STRAIGHTNER EVER!

i have horribly unmanagable hair and this flat iron made it so much easier it works great and takes no time at all. I love this flat iron so much! i highly recommend you get it!
