I love this product. I love the service!
I ordered my flat iron on a Thursday and got it the following Tuesday!
I've had my flat iron for almost 4 weeks, and i love it.
Even look at my pictures. Its absolutely amazing. Im not the best at using flat irons, but it looks pretty good.
Heres the pros and cons of this product:
Cons:
*the plates dont close together in the end. But this doesnt make a difference because it still works great.
*for a piece of really REALLY curly hair you might have to go over it an extra time.
*it takes it a while to cool down.
Pros:
*it works alot better than revlon and conair ones.
*it heats up quickly.
*it stays straight all day.
*its great for flips and curls.
*its nice that you have the choice of how hot it becomes
*its not too big to straighten bangs.
*its great for all hair types.
So yeah! Overall its fantastic. All of the cons together DO NOT add up to a flaw.

I just purchased this iron and was able to tell it is very high quality and a great product from the first time a used it. I have wavy to curly hair - extrmely rebel and frizzy. My hair is not dificult to straighten but with regular irons i've used in the past it would take me quite a few times in the same piece of hair in order to get it straight. With solia all i need to do is to pass the iron once and that's all - it goes by leaving the hair perfectly straight and smooth. Heats up in seconds (litteraly), does not pull the hair at all like other irons - very light weight and pretty too. Great purchase!

I like this flat iron alot, it does everything it says. It is less damaging. The only thing is that after a while my hair still gets a little flippy on the ends when I want it very straight, but with every flat iron I use it will get a little flippy. Overall great! YOU SHOULD BUY & TRY IT!

About 3 months ago, I was deciding on a flatiron. I was either gonna get the Solia or a Conair ceramic tourmaline wet/dry flatiron with hot air system. I decided to go with the Solia because the reviews raved about it and it seemed like a better iron. I WAS RIGHT!!!!!!!! my best friend uses the Conair i was gonna get and she said hers was the best ever--until she tried my Solia. now she's hooked. what i love about this iron is that it works good on damp hair. i have NO extra time in the morning, so that's great. another thing i love is that i have to wash my hair in the morning, but it dries in these really beautiful NATURAL beachy curls. the problem: later in the day, it turns into really ugly frizz and deep waves. i love the Solia because it can make beautiful beachy curls,spirals, waves, flips, or pin strait. and it only takes like 10 minutes. IF YOU WANT AN IRON BUY A SOLIA!!!!!!!!

I've been using it everyday, it is really good with damp hair. But sometime my hair get caught on the side of the
blue heating element, other than that it was really good.

All I can say is wow! This tool does the trick. Has a temp control dial which shows the temp in degrees instead of high low medium or numbers 1-10. The ceramic plates are wonderful and do not catch or snap your hair. I have fine wavy/curly hair and I use a 300 degree setting and only have to straighten each section once. Hair comes out smooth and silky.
I tried another much cheaper priced ceramic flat iron and the on/off switch was on the top near where you would hold it and I kept turning it off. This Solia is designed well and the control are placed inside the tool where you wouldn't accidently hit them.
Oh and Folica is great too. Item shipped promptly!

This is a great product. I owned a Chi and this is far better then the Chi. I love this product and it was very affordable. I would definetly recommend this site for your hair product.

This iron works great! I bought it after my sister moved out with our chi iron and they work the same but this one is so much cheaper. I highly recommend buying this straightener.

After reviewing these pages for weeks, I finally bought the Solia 1 1/4" last week and it is great! It does exactly as it says and the free shipping from Folica was very quick and with 2 free gifts, what more could you ask!
I tested the flat iron by leaving my medium wavy hair to air-dry so that it was very fluffy and fuzzy, then straightened it the next morning...and it passed the test very nicely indeed! Then it stayed relatively straight for 3 days, and I live in Orlando, Florida so that's saying something!

I previously had the original Chi, it lasted almost 2 years. I really liked the Chi, but decided to try Solia. I LOVE it! It really takes care of my "fly away frizzies"!!!

I've had this straightner for 2 years and then it broke. The second it broke I came back to this site and got the same exact one. I LOVE THIS STRAIGHTNER!!! It makes your hair soo silky and smooth.

I am a hair stylist, and when my clients want super sleek, straight hair, I always use this Solia. It works great, and I use it on my own naturally wavy hair as well. It heats up quickly and doesn't fry my ends. Some other straighteners, even with a heat protector, still damage and frizz up your hair. I will continue using the Solia on my clients and myself as well!

I've had this straightener for about 5 months, and it works unbeleivably well! A couple of my friends have chi's, and they said it was the best...Until I showed them the solia! Believe me, everybody thinks that CHI is the best because its more well known and is available in other places than salons, but it definately can't beat the solia! My friends always have to buy new chi's every 4-6 months because their's break so fast, while mine is gonna last for a long time :].
THis straightener is just amazing, I am so happy that I've bought it! Don't give into a chi, they don't even have heat settings!

ok, FIRST i have to say that WOW folica had my straightener shipped in a little over TWELVE HOURS!! i ordered it yesterday around 4 pm, it is now 11 am and i just got it! incredible!!!!! AND it was the free shipping-they say you will get it in 4-6 days!! got the free makeup bag and heat thing which is awesome so i can bring it with me. ok, over that excitment and onto the straightener. I just bought my second one. My first one, like everyone is saying- did break after a year it just stopped turning on. BUT it does also seem to be that way with the sedu, chi, and many other ones I was considering buying to avoid it breaking. Well, didn't seem that I could be 100% on a long lasting straightener, so I bout the same one again because for the length of time that it did live- i loveeeed it. I have very thick, very wavy very long hair. Nasty out of the shower but amazing once it's done. This straightener works amazing, and one of the main reasons i picked it over sedu is because sedu doesnt get as hot, and lack of heat is one of the main reasons your hair won't stay straight all day. I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to my hair, so I have to do it until it is stick straight, and when i do my hair is good for days! ok, thats it. i also bought the beach spray- VERY excited we'll see if it does what it says. didn't even know they existed. ;)

Decided on this flat iron after owning the HAI for several years. It turns out the my HAI just died one day without any warning, so I decided that I would order the Solia. This falt iron is awesome - it ironed my naturally wavy hair perfectly and did it without that feeling that I was burning and killing my hair in the process. I've tried several irons in the past and this one is by far and away the best. Based on price and quality - I definitely recommend!

I carefully researched various flat irons after my original SuperStar flat iron died out. I settled on the Solia and after about two weeks of usuing it (I straighten my hair about twice a week) the swivel cord would shift and the iron wouldn't stay on. I thought I could live with it but then it started to do it all the time. I am really sad because the iron worked really well...when it stayed on!

I'll admit, I went with this product because it was nice but still $30+ cheaper than the other nice flattening iron. I have very wavy but not curly hair, so I felt I didn't need to have the top product.
I don't like to do just about anything to my hair on most days. I specifically get haircuts so that I barely have to brush, and some days not even that. I flat-out refuse to spend more than 5-10 minutes on my hair for even the fanciest of styles, and this iron is perfect for it.
I use it every couple weekends to look nice for my boyfriend for a fun night out, and it takes me no time at all to get through my hair. It is PERFECT for my patience level, and it doesn't make my house smell like burnt hair like my roomies from college used to make it smell using the cheap-o drugstore-sold irons. Thumbs-up from me.

i have very thick coarse hair, not to mention its colored. i have used so many flat irons i have lost count. my last one was a chi, and i thought that was as god as it got. it took me on average about an hour and half with the chi. i recently bought this one and it is awesome. i love it. i can do my hair in thirty minutes flat. and my hair is perfect. i will never go to another brand
