Best flat iron for this price range

I have never purchased an iron that cost more than $60, and I am not sure that I see a need to. This iron is awesome. It still takes a bit of time, but if I blow it somewhat strainght it lessens the time it takes. Gets super hot, super fast. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, or Folica. Great customer service, too.

I've never had one before, but it works great. My hair is already pretty straight, but it adds shine and bends the ends under neatly. Pretty cool.

I bought this flat iron based on the great reviews. I'm happy with it, but not overly impressed. My hair is really coarse and thick and it takes alot to de-poof and smooth it after I blow dry it. I've never been able to get that salon smooth look outside of the salon and this flat iron is no exception. You won't be disappointed, but don't expect miracles. It is definitely much better than my previous cheapy iron, but it still drys my hair out pretty good and I still have frizzies. I use it with the Chi Iron Guard and the Chi Straight Guard and they seem to work ok. I also use the Aveda Brilliant Universal Styling Creme afterwards.

This is the best hair straightener. My old one used to fry my hair horribly.
my best friend has extremly curly hair. and she uses it and you wouldnt even be able to tell it is curly.
This hair straightener is absolutly amazing.

The straightener was just as described, the reviews helped me to purchase. It heats up quick and doesn't burn your hair. I previously bought a NANO brand straightener and this is by far better.

I am bi-racial and have struggled with fighting frizzy's all my life. This flat iron has worked surprisingly well for me. I even straightened my hair on a rainy day and when I went outside, my hair stayed straight and frizz-free. I highly recommend this product. P.S. I also have seen this product used in a salon by a "professional" which also increased my confidence in this flat iron.

I have purchased 3 of these flat irons, not because they no longer work, but because they are so awesome. One for myself and daughter (we have had ours for 1 1/2 years and they still work perfectly). I just purchased a new one for my other daughter this past Christmas and she was ecstatic!
These flat irons work wonderfully - we all have fine hair that can be fairly wavy, but the Solia flattens & shines and with no damage. This size is great because you can also use it with shorter hair and bangs.

This Flat Iron works really great.. Just wish i got a smaller size to get those roots! I have African American corse hair so i use it at 450 and i think thats as high as it can go! It does do the job don't have to use oils or anything do a deep conditioner, blow, and my Solia! Last about two weeks.

This product works great on African American hair. My hair feels like silk once I've had it flat ironed. I also use it on my child's hair without any pressing oil or anything. Yes,her hair is in its natural state and is by no means "good stuff". I flat iron first and then grease the scalp afterwards. Gone are the days of the old straightening comb for our family.

This iron is much better than my old crappy one, but still not as good as Id hoped. Ive used a Chi a few times, and it keeps my hair straighter for much longer. If Im going out at night, I have to straighten my hair again with the Solia, and this was never a problem with the Chi. With that being said, its still a good iron for the price.

I purchased this flat iron based off the comments made by other customers. The positive reviews were true to their words. My hair has never been flatter and I am glad that I did not spend $150+ dollars on a flat iron. The Solia flat iron works perfectly on my hair to get my curls super straight. I will never go back to a Drug Store purchased flat iron. This product is highly recommended.

I used to have a cheap old drug store hair straighener but it would make my hair sort of straight for less then an hour and completly dry out my hair. So I knew I wanted to get a nice iron but didn't want to spend over $100. This hair straightener straightens my hair so it makes it very, very soft so I don't need to worry about burning my hair. I have wavy, medium thick hair thats about 2 inches past my shoulders and I can straighten it in about 15-20 minutes. I researched a lot of straight irons and chose this because of the reviews and the low price compared to other fancy irons. It came with a travel packet and I was pleasently suprised it came with a pink cosmetics bag. The only thing that is a little bad is it sometimes snags my hair. But... other then that small reason this is an amazing iron and worth every penny! I now enjoy straightening my hair! I LOVE FOLICA!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had my Soia iron FOR two years no problem. i loved it so much i bought two for two of my girlfriends. Unfortunatel SOlia charged me for Five irons when I only ordered two. Other than that i love myiron and my friends do too. Great for the hair's condition too.

The Solia flat iron is the best flat iron I've used. The plates line up and glide through your hair without pulling, but holding the hair to insure a better contact with you hair to straighten it easily. I own a Hai, Chi, T3 and Sedu which don't perform as well. I love this Solia iron. Straightening hair is so much easier.

I bought this flat iron as a Christmas gift for my teenager and we both use it. I love the wet/dry feature. It heats up immediately, and the 1 and a 1/4 inch is perfect. I also love the case and heat pad. I am so pleased with this product!

i think it works great everyone is always talking abot the the chi which works really well but i like this one a little better my hair doesnt get frizzy when its humid or it rains outside where as with the chi it always did so if you have really frizzy puffy curly hair like i do and you like it really straight then i would go with this flat iron

I'm so happy I found this. It took a while to get to me though, so I went out and bought a cheaper revlon one - it left my hair frizzy. I was using a friend's CHI when I decided to purchase this one. I think this one is as good as the CHI. And my hair stays straight forever! Even if it's raining I'll have straight hair. I think there is a little damage though, but that might just be that I haven't had a hair cut in... 6 months? It's hard to find someone who knows how to cut curly hair, but now that I wear it straight, my options have really opened up! Very happy!

I purchased my Solia flat iron February 2007 but the following November it stopped working for some unknown reason. I sent it back in the original package and they sent me a new one right away with no questions.
I love the flat iron. I have very coarse hair and the iron gets rid of the frizzies with ease. I am very pleased with the service and the iron. I would make more purchases with this company in the future.
