I love my flat iron. Thanks to the reviews I read. I am very glad I purchased the Solia. It lives up to everything it says it does (except the inital heat up time I have timed it and it takes 1 min or a little less not the seconds it claims but that is fine with me). It works alot better than the chi that I was going to buy initally. My daughter and I have very thick and curly hair and it takes 1/2 hour or less to do our hair. ( I am just a begginer) I hope that as I get better at flat ironing my hair it will only take minutes.

My family bought this flat iron as a Christmas gift to my sister. But I too use it!. I love how it heats up quickly and the fact that it doesn't pull out any hairs is perfect. My hair is wavy and it leaves if soft and straight!

I loved how this worked and how quickly it heated up, but a year and a half later one of the plates came out. It was very disappointing since I paid $88 for it.

I absolutely love this flat iron!!! I have the Chi Turbo and it doesn't come close to what the Solia does!! My hair is left silky, shiny and smooth after just 1 pass with the iron (and I am African American with thick long hair). Perfect investment!!

Im latin and I have curly color treated hair. Noone at work believes that i have curly hair since i usually like to straighten it or have it styled. This iron leaves your hair smooth, straight, and last for a couple of days till you decide to wash. I got the pink one for Christmas and he day that it breaks or dies, I will definately buy another. I truly love this iron and would recommend it to my bestfriend and sister inlaw. ITS A KEEPER!!

I bought this iron based on a recommendation from a friend. When I originally started researching flat irons, I got overwhelmed by all the different brands/sizes/options out there. I decided to ask around and after hearing how much my friend raved about the Solia, I decided to give it a try. Wow - was I glad I did!! I had a cheapy flat iron before the Solia and was ready for a professional-type one. I have to say that the moment I got the Solia in the mail, I plugged it in and gave it a try. The results: simply fabulous!! I could not be happier with my purchase. I think this flat iron would work well for anyone seeking straight, silky, shiny and sleek hair. I know I will enjoy mine!

I bought on a few months ago. My hair is curly, fine and thin and frizzy my daughter's super thick and with very tight curls. This works great on both of us. Our hair is smooth, silky and shiny with not pulling or tugging. I am buying my second on today so we don't have to share! So happy that the small travel iron in included for free!

This iron is AMAZING!!! I purchased it about a year ago, and am still so very pleased. Before this iron, when I would flat-iron my hair, it would be left feeling dry and looking frizzy and brittle. This flat-iron leaves my unrelaxed hair shiney, soft, sleek, and smooth (and the only products I use are my Wen cleansing conditioner, Chi Iron Guard & a dime-sized amount of silk infusion). I can't say enough good about this product. Thanks SOLIA!!

I have thick coarse wavy hair and I have been straighten it for years first with a blow dryer and round brush and then with the CHI and no matter what I would always have to use a silk frizz product after which would weigh my hair down and make it dirty fast. No more the Solia is absolutely FABULOUS it glides right through my hair and it is perfectly smooth the first time every time! It does not frizz up in the humidity and it is high here is the south! I recommend this flat iron to any one who wants a great product that makes your hair look fabulous every day!!

THIS FLAT IRON IS THE BEST OF ALL I HAVE TRIED. I HAVE USED THE CHI IRON, WALMART FLAT IRONS, AND THE BABY BLISS IRON AND THIS BEATS ALL BY FAR. IT HAS A NICE HEAT UP AND LEAVES YOUR HAIR SMOOTH AND STRAIGHT.. FLIPS OUT GOOD TO IF YOU WANT YOUR HAIR TO FLIP OUT AT THE ENDS--- NICE SIZE FOR SHORT TO LONG HAIR! BEST FLAT IRON!!!

I purchased my Solia flat iron over a year ago and I have been extremely please. I have very wavy/frizzy hair and other irons didn't do the trick. This one has worked majic. I have purchased 2 more since for each of my nieces and they love this iron as well. You won't go wrong with this purchase.

I debated getting this straightener and after seeing all the good reviews i decided to buy it. It woked good for the first couple of days, but after about a week it started to displease me. In order for me to curl my hair with it and the curl to stay, I would have to turn it to the highest temperature(for thick curly hair) and then my hair smelt burnt for days. When I try to straighten my normal thickness medium length hair, I have to go over the piece of hair four or five times before it is actually straight. I would not reccomend this straightener to anyone. I am sending this one back and getting a CHI. They work much better and do what I want them to do.

I've had my Solia flat iron now for going on three years now. My hair is completley natural now thx to the Solia. It straightens the hair like nobodys business and it leaves the hair silky, straight, shiny, full of body and bounce. I highly recommend this iron to anyone with natural kinky hair. It'll have your hair looking and feeling georgous. I stay in (humid in the summer) atlanta, I also workout twice a week. My hair is now trainging to stay straighten longer. I will put up before and after pics soon!

This flat iron is okay, but it doesn't straighten my hair nearly as well as my old CHI did. I had my CHI for 5 years, and it started cutting off on it's own during the 5th year... it was awesome, though (I used it nearly every day for those 5 years). I've only had my Solia for about 2 months, but I'm not nearly as in love with it as I was my CHI. When I was looking online for a new flat iron, I read these reveiws, but decided to try a Solia so I'd know for myself. I wish I'd have gone with the CHI since I knew it was great. Hope this helps someone!

I have had this flat iron for 5 years and it is till working like a champ! This iron has been dropped on numerous surfaces (asphalt, concrete, tile), traveled in suitcases that have been abused by baggage handlers etc...
I always recommend this straightener to friends and family. It works fabulously. I have kinky, naturally curly hair and this iron smoothes and straightens my hair beautifully.
When compared to other brands that I have tried over the years, Solia beats them hands down (and it's incredibly durable, which is a plus). If mine ever breaks, I will definitely replace it with another Solia.

I have really curly hair which will get frizzy in humid weather, which in Florida is most of the time. I used to have to use three different products in my hair at one time, until now. I LOVE this straightner. I use only a small amount of gel in my hair and that is it, not even hairspray, and I have straight frizz-free hair. I have owned this iron for three months and have not worn my hair curly since. I would definetly suggest giving this iron a try.

After reading the reviews, I wanted to try this flat iron and I was not disappointed! I threw my other one away immediately! My hair is a bit on the course side, naturally curly and dry. With this flat iron my hair is shinier, less fly aways and I have more control with curls. I love this flat iron!

I had a CHI flat iron and then after 3 years it was time to change it, I was pleased with trhe CHI so I did`'t know If I should stick with the same or try somenthing new, so I made my research and found out that this flat iron had great reviews so I give it a try and let me tell you it is GREAT!! my hair feel smoother and softer! I'm happy I make the plunged and try it. Heats up very quickly and is gentle with your hair.
