I can't decide between the solia 1" or the HAI convertible 1"!!!. Because I just cut my hair really short I need a smaller flat iron so I got the T3 1" and noticed that my old Solia 1-3/4" (now too wide for my -coarse, frizzy- short hair) works MUCH BETTER so I'll return and change it for another one but since I like Solia a lot should I give the HAI a chance? and if HAI is more expensive than Solia it means is better?.Please help me!!!! It gets to 450 degrees but the temperature is adjustable. I use it on the 370 setting and I have coarse wavy hair. The highest setting should only be used if you have very curly or ethnic hair or else you will burn the heck out of it. | wet?
hi i'm korean, and my hair takes like, FOREVER to dry. and while it dries, it like really frizzy. can i use this straightener while my hair's wet? or will it like kill/burn my hair? Question posted by Alice Wed Jan 16 2008 Submit your answer | Reply by Emily

You can use the straightener while your hair is towel dried, but, using your straightener when your hair is fully dry is always the healthier choice.
I have the same exact type of hair, so I usually wrap it in a towel for 20 minutes then let my hair air dry. THen when its completely dry I use my straightener | | Reply by Emily

You should NEVER straighten you hair while its wet. It will dry out your hair and give you alot of split ends. Trust me its worth the while to dry you hair or let it air dry. Also when its dry it will come out looking sleeker and healthier. | | Reply by Belinda

Never flat iron your hair while wet it can boil your hair, resulting in breakage and more frizziness. | curls
Urm do these straightners curl your hair too? Question posted by lucy Wed Dec 26 2007 Submit your answer | Reply by Sarah

Yes they do. Because of the rounded edges not square they are able to do curls and flip your hair in and out. | Do these damage

No just make sure you know which temperature is good for your hair. If your hair is thin and fragile then put it to a low temperature, but it all depends on your hair. | Hi
Hi, I just ordered the Solia 1" and I ordered Citre Shine Color Prism Anti Frizz Serum with it. I was just wondering if anyone uses that product and if it's good? Thanks! Question posted by Kiru Fri Nov 23 2007 Submit your answer | Reply by Kayla<3

This One Goes Up To 450 Degrees | Question
My mother is half spanish and japanese, as a result she has extremely thick (and i mean THICK), long, wavy hair. It frizzes out very badly and i don't know what to do to help her. I was wondering if this would work on straightening out her hair, and plus what type of product should i use (like the chi serum) to help straighten it and keep the frizz down.
