You can use an after treatment like Biosilk Silk Therapy after straightening with the flat iron. You may want to choose a smaller plate like 1" which will work better on roots. | | Reply by LadySatan

I'm thinking another problem might be how you care for your hair. Shampoos and conditioners could be a factor not just your styling regiment. Try going to a salon and having a stylist wash & style your hair. Explain your situation to the stylist maybe they could offer insight and suggestions. When calling for an appointment, ask if it is ok for you to bring in your own iron so you can assess if it is the iron and not your hair care products.
A wash & style once or twice a month is inexpensive and OH SO NICE to have someone else do the dirty work! | Solia ceramic ion flat iron ( 1 3/4")
I just ordered the solia ceramic iron (1 3/4"). I want to know if when I use it to straighten my hair, can also use it to make the ends of my hair curl a little bit?Is it just used solely to straighten hair? Question posted by May Santos Tue Jun 07 2005 Submit your answer | Reply by taylor
