I have used both and I think Sedu is healthier for the hair. If you are gonna use it everyday, I would suggest Sedu | ????

I was just wondering if this can be used overseas? Or if not, can and adapter be put on it? Question posted by K Sun Jul 03 2005 Submit your answer how do you make it stay?
hi, i have a solia hait straightener....but whenever i straighten it, it only stays straight for an hour. then, it frizzes back up again. i don't use any extra products when im showering...i just use dove hair shampoo and conditioner, let it air dry and then straighten it. does anyone know how to keep it straight longer?...my hair is really frizzy and i dont see the difference an hour after straightening. i need the fastest, cheapest way to get my hair straight...help!! -XxSweetSmilexX Question posted by XxSweetSmilexX Thu Jun 30 2005 Submit your answer | Reply by CAra

A way to make your hair easier to straighten, and to last longer after straightening, is to blowdry your hair instead of letting it air dry. Yes, i know it will probably look really frizzy and big, but it makes it SO much easier and with better results. Also when you straighten, make sure you not going too fast and are applying adequate pressure. Hope this helps! | | Reply by Fran

The same exact thing happened to me! But then a friend told me to buy a styling creme and a glossing polish with frizz elimination. So the way it works is you have to divide your hair into layers, then when you go to straighten the layer put the styling creme on and straighten the layer! Do this for every layer! Then when you are finished straightening your hair put in the glossing polish and your hair should stay straighter longer that just one hour!!! | how long?
how long are the results with Solia? Question posted by xXxcherryxXx Thu Jun 30 2005 Submit your answer | Reply by Mary

I think it really depends on your hair type and texture, also what heat setting you have on, how long did you straightening your hair for and what products you use it. | Overseas Use
I was just wondering if you can use this straightener in Europe and if not, would an adapter work on it? Question posted by K Tue Jun 28 2005 Submit your answer | Reply by Customer Service

Solia Flat Iron's voltage is 110V and has a US plug so you will need a converter as well as an adaptor to use the flat iron in Europe | dead ends
i use my friends Hai flat iron and altough it straightens well, it makes my ends look horribly dead and fried. This totally kills the look and i am forced to put it up in a bun. Will this flat iron really make my ends look sleek? Question posted by nikki Tue Jun 28 2005 Submit your answer | Reply by CAra

This flat iron doesnt make your ends look bad, unless they are already damaged to begin with. My best friend has the Hai flat iron, which I've used numerous times, and I'd say they are preety much both awesome, but this one works a little bit easier. If you have the problem with your ends after using this flat iron, it's because you need a trim or a deep conditioning treatment. | i am a kid!

well, first of all, they are two different irons! based on the reviews, sedu seems to be better than solia, especially dealing with normal to fine hair. | I need an iron that won't break in 6 months or less
I'm looking for durability - how durable is this iron? How long have you had yours? Question posted by Michelle Thu Jun 23 2005 Submit your answer | Reply by Liz

This iron carries one year warranty and based on the reviews that I have read so far, it should be a good quality and fairly durable iron. I have had mine for 8 months now and still works great. We will see how well it performs after a year. At least it is doing better than the CHI that I had before! |
