This is probably the most gentle flat iron that you can find on the market, I don't think you will have a problem with it. My hair is colored and I love the flat iron since it makes my hair shiny and smooth. |
Which size iron should I buy?
I have very long, curly, coarse hair. It falls midway down my back even when it is curly? I also have bangs. Should I buy the 1 3/4 inch Solia iron? Will this work on my bangs as well?

With your hair length, I think it will be better if you work with 1-3/4", but it may be difficult to work with it on your bang since it will be hard to get close to your scalp with larger plates | | Reply by Marie-Eve

Which Flat iron is better for my hair??
I have medium hair (about 2 inches past my shoulder), I was wondering which size of flat iron is better the 1 1/4 or the 1 3/4?

Damp hair
Why is it that it says that this straightener works on damp hair, when usually straightening wet hair would cause more breakage? Does it actually dry your hair and straighten it? Or, well, what?

Straightening your hair wet is not reccommended. Therefore you should use a blow dryer first, or wait for it to dry. But the solia just wants to let you know that it's completely okay if you wish to straighten your hair damp (what if you're in a hurry!?). |
frizz
I live in Southern Florida and the humidity level is very high. I have naturally very thick, curly hair and im wondering if this hair straightner will straighten my hair without poofyness or frizz.

I would definitely recommend this flat iron for you since it is great for frizz control and for humidity resistance. I would also recommend to use a styling product such as Biosilk Silk Therapy either before or after straightening. | | Reply by Michele
