Okay so I bought the Solia because I felt that my Remington wet 2 Straight straightner was frying my hair. I really love the Solia because it glides through my hair so easy, and I noticed that my hair is in amazing condition now. When I say amazing condition I mean it is soft when I don't straighten it and even softer when I do straighten it. My hair is always shiny because it just is but this straightner makes it even shiner which is awesome! On terms of straightning though... it's ok. I expected a lot more from it. My old straightner actually got my hair straighter but oh well. I would rather have healthy hair rather than super pin straight hair any day! BUY THE SOLIA!!!

i use this iron every day and like it a lot, my sister uses a chi and she likes my Solia better.

It's okay, but my Chi was better.

This flat iron does an ok job. My Chi was better, but it broke after 3 months and I didn't want to invest more money in the Chi brand. Prior to the Chi, my flat iron lasted 5 years! When I flat iron with this iron, my hair doesn't stay sleek the next day; it also never seems to get 'as flat'.
