I have only bought 3 straighteners before i bought this one, and none compare to this one(better than corioliss, Remington's "wet 2 straight",i forgot the other one...long time ago). I will honestly say that i am happy with my purchase(fast delivery too). i tried it right after i opened it, and my hair was smooth and it didn't even pull my hair. I have a medium hair (between thick and thin)and i always had a hard time getting my hair to be straight for than 5 hours... my stubborn hair used to take 45-60 mins to get a decent straight look, and not to forget a lot of pomades, frizz control products and shining cremes; still my hair had a dry feel. When i tried the solia, it took me 20 mins 30 tops to straighten. i tired it on my mom's coarse hair and it left it so smooth. be sure that if you have coarse hair you will need a serum to keep it that way. i advice to use a heat protector before straightening your hair every time you have to blow dry or straighten your hair (it doesn't matter which straightener you have)... good product,good buy...keep your hair healthy. :)

This brand of flat iron is the best I have ever had! They really make your hair straight. The only thing is that for my kind of hair (long, wavy and thick) I still prefer the 1 and 3/4", but this model is perfect for shorter hair.

NOT ONLY IS IT VERY CUTE BUT A GREAT SIZE FOR TRAVEL. HEATS UP FAST WITHOUT DAMAGING HAIR. POWERFUL YET COMPACT. I LOVE THIS STRAIGHTNER AND I'M HAPPY I BOUGHT IT. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS PRODUCT.

I am very happy with my pink Solia 1" flat iron so far...I like the adjustable heat settings which the Chi iron didn't offer in this price range. I haven't owned it long enough for anything to malfunction yet, but I think it's an excellent value for the price.

I came home to find this straightener on my bathroom sink, like a gift from the gods. When I found out it was my baby sister's, she showed me the site and I ordered one for myself immediately.
This straightener is
1) fabulous. My hair gets straight and STAYS straight.
2) works on damp hair (okay, yeah, that's not good for your hair, but it can be really convenient)
3) super-cute, pink from plug to ceramic tiles.
In short, this is the kind of straightener that you dream about and when it shows up mysteriously in your house, you know you have to have your own.

SO I PURCHASED THIS AS A CHRISTMASS PRESENT AND AT FIRST SHE WAS REALY DISSAPAOINTED THAT I DIDN'T GET THE PINK CHI (WHATS THE DIFRENCE?). HER OLD IRON WAS FALLING APPART SHE USES THIS IRON EVERY OTHER DAY AND SEEMS TO REALY LIKE IT.
GOOD ALTERNATIVE TO THE CHI IRON - I THINK.

I Love Solia Pink Limited Edition. This is my second one because I accidently stepped on my last one & broke it. So I purchased the pink one this time around, (so I could at least see it better).
But quality wise, I've been through about 6 flatirons - both professional and drugstore bought, and nothing can compare to the Solia Flatirons results. Smooth, shiny results - from a light-weight, affordable, cute flatiron. Also great to use in high humidty locations (such as where I'm from). Buy it - try it - You won't be dissapointed.

The hot humid weather here in Houston has caused me to hate my hair since a young age until a friend let me use her Chi and I was shocked that my hair could look so good and stay that way in this crazy humidity. I was hooked. I had to get one of these. But after reading the reviews on the Chi and its bad record of breaking so frequently I chose the Solia based on its great reviews. The Solia flat iron is great. I've been very pleased with it. But in defense of the Chi... my friend has had hers for over a year and it's been working great for her. She bought hers through a local store and they offer free lifetime replacement on it. Unfortunately I didn't know that till after I purchased the Solia. Anyway, I'm happy with it.

I've only ever bought cheap drug store flat irons and this one was well worth the money. My relaxed hair looks great with every use and keeps my hair looking great between relaxers. Basically, I'm luvin' it.

I purchased the solia and it works great! I have only had it for a little over a month and it really works to straighten my hair. The only problem is that, like all flat irons, it is damaging to your hair. I saw damage to my hair within the first few weeks so now I only use the flat iron once per week or so.

I bought this straightener, and it is really amazing on my hair. Just a tip, move it slowly and use it at about 300 degrees. You should also use a heat protectant on your hair. One thing about this straightener is that the cord squeaked a but during the first few days I owned it, and that it sometimes pulls at my hair.
Overall, this straightener is totally worth the money. I use it on my bleached hair and there is no damaging, and I doubt there will be for a very long time. Solia, you are my savior.

I just recieved my Solia in the mail...which I must add only took 2 days! I live in Canada!!!
I immediatley plugged it in and tried it out...well it heats up literally in seconds, and is sooo incredibley light! Wow!
It made my hair super straight, extremely soft and shiny! I looove it!!
FYI...the color is a lot more peach than pink...which is ultra pretty too...you'll love this iron...!!!

So i recieved my solia flat iron like, 3 months ago, i used it in the fall,winter, and my christmas vacation were it was very humid and hot. I have curly/wavy hair, that is really thick, that normally curls when straight if it gets wet or in the humidity. IT NEVER CURLED! It stays striaght, makes my hair silky and straight. I love this thing so much. The only negative is that from like hair your the mat thing that comes with it. the plates get a gunky brown stip down the side, but it comes offf with a wet cloth, really easily. But only do that when the iron is cooled down. So i think you should buy this one, cause its the best. and i have tried many:)

This works so well, I love it! I am mixed with black and mexican so my hair is crazy, and the straightners I've used before never left my hair as soft and smooth as the solia has. I recommend it to everybody, it's awesome. And the best part is that you can use it as a curling iron too, it will cut your time in half! Buy it now!
