okay, well i bought a sedu and it just made it poofy not straight, BUT this flat iron did miracles on my hair, it is soo smooth, soft, and shiny, i wanted that caucasian (sp) type hair, because my hair is THICK very THICK, and it gave the caucasian (sp) type hair, my hair NOW is now like so NICE i luv it, i couldn't stop smiling at my results, i keep swinging my hair without noticing it is FREAKING awesome...GET THIS FLAT IRON, IT IS THE BEST...

I love this flat iron and I like it more than the Sedu revolution! At first I had the Sedu and I'm not sure if I didn't know how to use it or wasn't using the right products but it wasn't what I expected for the money I was paying...and it would snag on my hair! it was good but I expected more for the price so I figured I would just get a flat iron that was as good as it was but cheaper....
So after much research and deliberation I returned the sedu and bought the solia which is cheaper and I heard was comparable in quality... I love it! I did my hair this morning and it was silky smooth and super straight. I have thick hair even when it's relaxed so I need a flat iron that will take out some of the body... this flat iron really works! and I didn't have it on the highest setting! I used the redken flat out serum and I'm not sure if the product made the difference or it was the solia. Either way, my hair looks great!
It's very light weight, easy to handle and NO SNAGGING! the sedu revolution would yank out my hair :/

i bought this like 8-9 months ago, and it worked great and was very happy with it. but then one day i plugged it in, didnt turn on at all. i am dissapointed that i spend a lot of money on something that had great reviews and breaking when i didnt even have it for long.
OMG i was AMAZED BY THE RESULTES!

i just recieved the solia in the mail today and just statrted using it. The solia is the best beauty product you can get by far.I at first thought it might not work for me because i was black. i do not know many black girls who use flat irons. When i used it i got amazing results , i was so happy. my hair became silky and so smooth. i recommend all girls and men with medium to long hair to use this product. you will not be disapointed at all.

This is the best flat iron I've ever invested in. For the first time ever I don't have to go over the same spot more than one time so my hair gets done faster and looks better than it ever has. Well worth every penny....and come on, it's PINK!!!

I am so suprised at how happy I am with the Solia Hair Straightener. I have always been true to CHI and that is all that I have ever had, but the Solia works 100 times better. My hair is shiny, soft and looks amazing. I would recommend this product over the CHI to anyone! LOVE IT

I bought a CHI because I was told they were the best, I really liked the CHI but it pulled my hair alot.. Also It made my hair look really dry and not very shiny.. So I read about the Solia iron, and it sounded good, so I ordered it and WOW it is so great, It makes my hair so soft and naturally staright not the fake dried out look. I just love it so much and its pink my favortie colour, and the shipping was amazing I picked the USPS and it said it would take 6-10 days it was here in 3 days, AMAZING

I just received my flat iron yesterday. My hair has natural wave and kinda thick. It works pretty well. My hair was nice and shiny. The only thing I didn't like was when I ran it through my hair it pulled alittle. And when you do the top of your hair start right at the roots or you will get a kink in your hair. Otherwise pretty good product.

I came on the site to buy a Chi and even posted a review about the Chi and how I was about to purchase a new one that day. Well before I decided to buy it I thought I would check out the top sellers for the flat irons. When I did so I saw this straightener and decided to read the reviews. Almost every review was positive and most said that it was better then Chi so of course I thought I would try it out. I am SO glad that I did!! I LOVE this iron. My hair actually stays straight and smooth all day long. As long as this iron is on the market I will not purchase another Chi. I give this iron 5 stars!!! :)

So I just got the solia in the mail yesterday..I've tried a few other hair straightners but none have worked as fast and easy as solia! I love it, and when I woke up this morning I didn't have to do any touch-ups :) With my other hair straightner, when I'd wake up my hair wouldn't be all nice and straight, I'd have to always do some touch-ups with my hair. But with solia, I woke up and the hair was just as nice as it was when I did it last night..love it! Hair is soft and shinny ...
ps my hair is thick, and curly.

I brought a solia a couple of years ago, however my daughter broke it i was devastated, this iron has saved me lots of money from going to the beauty salon, when i flat iron my hair it looks as if i got it done professional. i love this flat iron. i order it again yesterday and according to my ups tracking i should recieve it sometime today! i would buy the solia over and over again!

This product is very Good. I take about an hour or less to do my hair now. Now i dont have to wait in the salon for over 5 hours. Hopefully i can make it to special ocassions on time now since i wont take so long to do my hair. i recommend it so much that i convinsed my sisters to buy one. Im buying one for both of my sisters!!!!!

When I accidentally killed my last flat iron, I was going to purchase the same one. But then I decided to try the Solia Pink 1" which turned out the be the perfect match. I have very thin fine hair and I do much better with the heat control -- haven't burned myself yet. Also, for short hair, the 1" is perfect and I love the fact that it's light weight. My last flat iron was top of the line, but turns out costlier is not always better.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I am pleased with the results. It definitely doesn't scorch my hair like my cheap flat irons would or snag my hair. I like how it heats up in 30 seconds and stays hot throughout styling. I also enjoy how smooth the plates glide through hy hair. I am excited to try it as a curler when I have longer hair.
I would recommend this product.

I originally bought this product after using a ceramic iron which was too wide to get the results I needed. This slim iron makes it soo easy 2 grab "hard 2 reach sections". iron. I luv it when it comes to str8ing my hair!
However it is not the greatest for doing curls as it does not have a long lasting result. Overall I think this is a "must-have product!"

All of the previous straighteners I've had have been the cheap ones from grocery stores. I wanted to upgrade after my last one broke, and was researching the Chi, since it's supposedly the best, when I saw that the Solia one is ranked higher than the Chi. After reading the reviews, I decided to get this one, basically because of the price and color, and I am completely satisfied. My hair is so0o0o0o silky after using it, and stays that way regardless of how humid it is outside (I live in Houston). I have an inverted bob, and the Solia does not pinch my hair at all. The 1" plates get the shortest part of the back of my hair perfectly straight, with little to no effort. I've only had the Chi being used on me at salons, but I can't imagine how it could be better than the Solia, especially if you take into consideration the price. I definitely recommend this straightener!

I like my new flat iron. It does what I want it to, heats up really fast, and is a pretty shade of pink. I don't use it a whole lot when I do (I have shorter hair), but it works well, and if I still had my long hair, I have no doubt that straightening would be no problem. The best thing about it is the temperature gauge, so I can control the heat setting and not burn my hair off.

I went back and forth on which one to get (sedu or this one) but I am glad I decided to go with this one. I like that there are more heat settings to choose from.
I have naturally straight hair. I got my hair cut shorter recently and the guy cut a bunch of layers into my hair which wound up making my hair look like a hot mess (all wavy - some flipped out, some flipped in). With this tool I am able to straighten my hair back within minutes. Love it!
I read that a lot of people had a problem with the plates lining up right. With a really light squeeze the plates line up perfectly. I also haven't experienced and tugging or hair pulling.
(Haven't mastered the flip under or curl yet.)
