Who would have thought that your hair could get HEALTHIER using heat tools? Not me, but it's true my hair has gotten healthier since I have started using this flat iron! I have bought it for several of my friends and family!!

She has been using the Chi and has thick curly hair. Our neighbor bought a Solia and raved about it so we took a risk and bought one after our Chi broke after only a year of using it. My daughter loves the Solia so much better then the Chi. She said that her hair feels healthier and it works better.

I have been using a Wigo for the past five years and it was finally time to retire it. I purchased the Solia Pink Limited Edition 1" Flat Iron based on user reviews and it did not dissapoint. I have wavy hair, not too difficult, but I have used friends flat irons that couldn't remove all of the wave. I highly recommend this one, not only because it heats up quick, has great temperature control and straightens as well as my stylist...but being pink is such a bonus!

I am very happy w/my solia pink. It works wonders! I own it for a month now and I have no problem with it. It heats up super fast and it does what it says..it surely delivers. I am from the islands and I have natural curls w/a bit of kinky. My hair stays flat up to 4 days. I didn't even have to do any touch up the next day or the day after. I woudn't trade my solia pink for another, and surely the price is worth every penny I spend. Thank you for such excellent product.

My mom and i were in a mall and some one came up to us and said, "how would you like to have strait hair?" I was kind of freaked out because she had a pink booth in the mall. She had 2 diffrent types of straitners, a pink one and a black one, i tried both, the pink one worked better. That straitener was $159.00 I looked it up on Folica and it was $59.00 (huge diffrence) my mom said we could get that one, but it was out of stock, so i found this SOLIA, it was a bit more expencive then the other pink one, but it was worth it. The mail man brot it to my door in 2 days! (that was fast) and as soon as it came i plugged it in. Not only did it heat up within 15 seconds (to 350) it worked!!! I was so pleased, now i just condision my hair regulary, and my hair is soft and smooth. My mom and I both love how it came with the cooling pad/bag. The compact was useful too. I am so happy to say that my hair is beautifuly strait, (even when i just do the front i get compliments) Altho it does have a slite tugging at the ends, its AMAZING! I strongly aggree with the adds for this, beacuse they're true! Now my mom and I have to fite over who will have the strait hair that day!
Sedu is soooo much better!

I purchased a Sedu after reading reviews here and it was AWESOME! My tightly curled hair was smooth as glass:) However, after a year it started to short out and had the ever popular cord issues, so I thought I would try the solia as it too had pretty good reviews. No way is it as good as the Sedu. NO WAY! It does heat up super fast, but I found it heavier, with plates not as smooth as the Sedu. I gave it to a wavy haired friend who likes it as I lost my return information to send it back. For this price range, it should out perform hot tools. Stick with the Sedu! You will not be disappointed!
Great product- would buy again!!!

This product is great! I have used this flat iron over a dozen times already- it make my hair very silky and shiny. The only down side to this flat iron to speak of is that it takes a long time to use on damp hair. I would definitely suggest using it on only dry hair.

I bought this flat iron for my two teenage daughters. They both have rather fine hair, so I love that this iron has a temperature control (no frying!). It also straightens in just one swipe, so you don't have to go over the strand several times. Another excellent feature of this iron is that it glides very smoothly over the hair without snagging. It also works well if you like to flip the ends of your layers out a bit....
Heats up within seconds.....so very glad that we spent the $$ to purchase this iron, highly recommend it!
My pink miracle!!

Solia has created a miracle in a flat iron. I'm biracial (Sicilian and black) and my hair is very long, kinky-curly-wavy, and THICK. It's so thick that no matter where I go to get my hair cut, the stylists always comment on how super thick it is. Right now, after using this iron, my hair is stick-straight, flat to my head (I LOVE THIS THE MOST), and so shiny. I can't believe my hair looks like this. It's amazing. It didn't even take me that long, maybe an hour and a half. The Solia heats up in seconds and stays hot the entire time. I didn't have to be especially meticulous with each hair section and I only did two passes on each. I never even burned myself, which is unusual. If this can straighten my kinky excuse for hair, it can straighten yours!
Cute, but that's about it...

I got this in the mail yesterday and I shipped it back yesterday. The flat iron is very cute (because it's pink), but certainly not worth the money. The product looks very poorly made- my $15 and $40 flat irons that I have now look of better quality. There is a small gap (I mean TINY) gap between the end of the plate and where it meets with the plastic tip of the iron, and it snagged my hair. I too, had one with a squeaky cord...I thought that it was catching more hair or that I was doing something wrong, but it just turned out to be the swivel cord making noise. As much as I love pink, this iron had to go back; time to get a real, professional, "big girl" iron. But I'll let you be the judge...
Plates do not close flush

The plates don't line up correctly. There is a large gap on one end of the iron. The claim is that the iron helps to restore moisture to your hair and I did not see that happening. The plates do however get really hot so you have to be careful not to burn your hair out. The color is nice, not sure how that will help with someones decision to purchase it. Good Luck!

This is the best i just got it yesterday and had to use it on my sister. Now her hair if you saw is crazy big and curly nother like you've seen before. now he hair is the kind where if you want it straight you HAVE to a salon.
This Flat Iron is so wicked that it actually works better than the salon. For the people who read that the plates don't close that's true BUT the minute the plates touch hair the plates close perfectly on the hair i thought it was incredible. Honestly you don't have to buy a flat iron that is top of the line over $125.00 that's mad nuts. you sould buy this for $85.00 it's wicked and for people in Canada with tax it's gonna be $120.00 plus gst when the parcel arrives. Also because it's ups Canada express the parcel will come in 3 DAY AFTER ORDER i bought it on friday and on monday it came at 11:15. BUY THIS FLAT IRON!
It's okay....

I bought this iron to replace my CHI after reading good reviews about it. although it is very light weight and cute, I still prefer my CHI's performance. I mean it works fine, but it takes longer to straighten and the humidity frizzes it right back up.

This straightner only worked for 6 weeks and then it totally died. i would expect that an 85 dollar straingtner would last longer than 6 weeks. total junk!1

I bought this for my daughter who is 13 and was a little apprehensive about spending $85 on one. After much research, I decided to purchase it....BOY, did I make the right decision! This is the BEST flat iron we have ever used- (I use it too on a daily basis) It does not dry your hair out nor does it cause it to break...it justs gives it a smooth, shiny appearance! And it heats up in literally seconds. I would defintely recommend this product to anyone!!! It is well worth the money.

I just bought this straightener thinking it would be better than my other one because it is ceramic and all but i came to find out that my older one is better. I thought o theirs only a cuple of bad reviews about it so it must be good but come to find out all the bad revieews are completly true.It pulls my hair constantly and i have to go over it a gazillion times. Also the color of it sucks it looks cute in the picture but when u get it itle like a dull pink and he chord looks purple. So i sent it back and am going to buy one somewhere else. MY HELPFULL HINT WOULD BE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IT IS NOT WHAT IT SEEMS TO BE!!

This product is not what they say and claim for. I got the iron today and will send it back right away. The handle is not ergonomically designed. The plates don't even touch with each other unless you squeeze the handle really hard. I had pain in my elbow and hand after just trying it for 15 minutes. I will not recommend this product to anyone just a bad product. I didn't see any difference from the $20 flat iron i used before. This product is not well worth of $85, not even $20.
