If you turn the flat iron a bit as you come down, it will place a wave in your hair--Like Farrah Faucette's old hair style that framed her face. The smaller ones are more versitile for tight curls--like spirals or you can just bend it a little bit for soft waves. Just remember, the serium or smoother spray you use and the moisturizing shampoo and conditioner are what reacts with the Soila to render you the smooth/shiney hair. | ??
So if it's pink and all, does this mean that eventually the pink on the iron itself will start coming off when it gets hott? Question posted by Shelby Sun Feb 04 2007 Submit your answer | Reply by Customer Service

The best product to use for heat protection.. hm.. try biosilk products. You can use this pantene pro-v serum on ur hair that helps moisturize and lock in the moisture in ur hair, to prevent a dry scalp. | | Reply by Evangeline

I wouldn't recommend biosilk because it has alcohol in it which WILL eventually dry your hair out. I would recommend Paul Mitchell super skinny serum which you can put on damp hair and you can use a SMALL amount on dry hair. | | Reply by Marissa K

I would really recommend Chi Silk Infusion It smells great, and really makes your hair feel like silk. It's also alcohol free. | Thick vs. Thin

They will probably take about the same time, but thinner flatirons work better in straightening the hair and keeping it straight. | time?

You should always use some type of heat protectant when using hair appliances such as curlers and irons. This is to lessen the wear and tear on your hair and to limit the heat damage | | Reply by Helpful Hairdresser

YES!!!! Always use products whenever you are heat styling your hair. Not only does it protect your hair from heat damage but it also helps hold your style. I definately suggest getting the CHI Iron Gaurd 44 beacuse it works great for straightening and curling. | Heat Dial?
