After using hair dryers bought at the drug store all my life, I decided to treat myself to a good one. I read a lot of reviews and decided on this one. Although it isn't the quietest hair dryer, it makes my hair so smooth that I don't even need to use my flat iron most days! I have really fine and frizzy wavy hair and my hair looks shiny and healthy everytime I use this dryer.
I am really happy with my choice. And Folica is really nice to Canadian customers. I received my order within 2 days right before Christmas.
best hair dryer ever

I just love the shine and softness I get by using this dryer. My hair looks as if I had just gotten my hair done by my dominican hair stylist...I highly recommend this dryer. I just ordered the Willie Worrow attachement pik to facilitate straightening.
Im in the process of exchanging it.....

When I first received it it was okay...it dried my hair (but it took too long) it eventually did the job... I stored it for about a month and half and when I took it out to use it again...it just wouldnt heat up. Im in the process of exchanging it hopefully the next one they send me is a little better.... I do give folica thumbs up on their customer service and shipping...That I cant complain on.
THE BEST

I have never bought a salon quality hairdryer before and really wondered if I would see a difference. This hairdryer exceeded all my expectations. Yes it is a little heavy, but it really dries my hair a lot faster than what I was used to and it isn't so poofy and frizzy when I'm done. The concentrator nozzle really helps too. People have talked about it drying out your hair if it's thin, I have reasonably long, thin hair and it works great. It is reasonably priced so I can't imagine what more the more expensive ones could do. I would definitely recommend this.
I like it

It's not at all too heavy for personal use, and while it's not quiet, exactly, the pitch is a lot lower than my old one's, so it's better for not waking up the house. I don't notice my hair drying substantially faster than before, but it's shiny and smooth when I'm done.
One Of The Best

I have thick hair down to the middle of my back. This product dries my hair within 6 minutes. It has 2 speed settings and 3 heat settings (off position is the cold shot). While it's on the low speed setting, you can barely hear it. I usually use it in the high heat setting which is about as loud as the low heat setting on most blow driers. I'm extremely pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone that is tired of spending the entire morning trying to dry their hair.
Better than average

This hairdryer is definitely better than the drugstore variety that I have used all my life. I bought it for it's power and it's control tip. I was told by my hairdresser that a narrow nozzle would make a difference in the results of blowdrying my hair. I have curly hair that I try to straighten. It's a challenge in humid climates but this dryer does dry better and give me a better finished product.
It is also a little quieter than other dryers I've had. It's not high pitched like so many are. I did not think it was any heavier in weight that others. Over all I am very pleased with this dryer. I would recommend it. The sale price made it a good buy.
great value!

This product does what it says!!
The only draw back is, I wish it was a little lighter.
It is a great value!
Not For Thin Hair

Not recommended. I used Babyliss before this and it doesn't compare to the hair care that Babyliss gives. It dries my thin hair horribly, making it coarse. I have gone back to Babyliss which is heavier but ten times the dryer.

I love this hair dryer. I had the flat iron first and love it. So i thought i would give the hair dryer a chance. I think it is great. The hair feels amazing and it is so soft. I tell everybody about it ( i am a hair stylist also.)
Good, lightweight dryer

I can't say this dries my hair any quicker than the other dryers I have used, nor can I say it is really quieter, but it is a nice dryer. I was using the Babyliss Ceramix Extreme before it's temper burned up on me and this dryer seems about a million times lighter than that one. The location of the rocker switches took a little getting used to, but once you're aware of their placement, it's fine. The cool air it puts out when using that setting is truly cool, which is something that can't be said of all dryers. And it may be my imagination, but I do feel like my hair looks shinier and smoother with this dryer than my Babyliss. The price isn't too shabby either, especially if it's a product that will last. Oh, and the color is cute :P
Love it

I have never owned a hair dryer that cost more than $30 so I was skeptical about this one. However I love it! It definitely dries my hair faster than my old drugstore hairdryer. My hair is a little less frizzy too, but I still need to use my straightening iron (which I expected.) Overall I highly recommend this hair dryer- the extra time it saves drying my very thick, wavy hair is time well saved!

The Solia Thermal Ionic Hair Dryer is a great purchase! It is powerful, light weight and rather quiet. The contoured handle makes it easy to hold. My hair dries quickly and is very soft. I'm very pleased with this hair dryer!

I bought this model for the price. It was the best price for the style I was looking for for my mother in law Christmas gift. She likes it. Folica was a good place to buy it from.
excellent, but not perfect

Fantastic product that helps my hair look super smooth and shiny and cuts down on the time I spend getting ready. It's raining right now in Northern CA, and for the first time I don't have to worry about any frizz...I absolutely love it!
The *only* drawback is that it doesn't come with a diffuser.
Just what I wanted

This was my first purchase of a "salon quality" hair dryer and it has not disappointed me in the least. The price was reasonable and I feel like I got a great deal. Would highly recommend to people whose hair takes a longer time to dry.

I was very skeptical at first, but LOVE this dryer.
It dries my hair in about a 1/2 hour (i have mto be careful not to burn my hair though), where it would take me over an hour with other ion dryers. My hair doesn't need "touching up" with a flat iron afterward which is ALSO wonderful!.
I was peasantly surprised.
Thanks for a wonderful product.
