I've had this straightner for almost 4 years!! It's amazing how it can take my extremely curly, frizzy and coarse hair and make it look naturally straight. Unfortunately my puppy chewed threw the wire ... but I already bought another one because that's how much I love this product. Now if I could just find a hair serum that works against humidity!!

This is the second straightener I have purchased from Folica and it is amazing. No other straightener on the market was able to straighten my curly, frizzy hair, but with this straightener I'm able to straighten my hair and it looks calm and healthy. I highly recommend this product to other customers!

I have had this iron for probably 4 years now-- I've never had any trouble with it, heats up super fast and my hair always looks perfect! Before I got this iron, my hair was not really curly but puffy, bushy and frizzy. And other irons just damaged my hair, never getting it that straight. This iron is a miracle for those who thought they could never have silky, straight, perfect hair! My hair is super soft, smooth and super straight! I could not live without this iron, no joke. Its totally worth every penny!!!!

My Saphire Iron is my best friend. It lasted me 7 years, until it died...but it was well worth the buy!! My high school years would have been ruined without it. If someone has a bad experience with this iron, that's just too bad cause I love it! It doesn't pull your hair like other irons can do, it is just so smooth and nice. I took my iron all over Europe and back to the USA and it never failed me... things just don't last forever fortunately I can buy a new one!

I have this iron for four years and it works just at great today as it did when I first got it. It is easy to work with and straightens my wavy hair quickly. the results last the whole day. The comb can be annoying, so I just took mine off.

This iron would have worked better if it had a temperature control. The first one i had was did not heat up enough, the second got too hot .. a little to inconsistent for me. I have wavy hair and after I was out for a few hours the waves came back. Also, this flat iron breaks quickly and easily. Not too effective while it lasts ... I recommened HAI <--- thousands times better

WOW, this porduct cut the time it used to take to do my hair in half, i used other flat irons that just couldnt compare. My hair dresser told me about it and i am so happy she did. It makes my hair so shiny, and doesnt do any damage at all!

I bought this flat iron about 1 1/2 years ago. It worked pretty good until lately. It really started to stink when it was turned on. I think something disconnected. Now, one plate does not heat up and it makes a crackling sound. I am going to buy a Solia this time.

I bought my Saphire sometime ago and it doesn't compare to any other flat iron. I have used others and always feel that my Saphire is by far the best!!
I have total confidence in Saphire!!

Worked really well as long as the comb part is on the bottom of the iron as it goes through your hair, otherwise it gets stuck in your hair. It is ideal for long hair, too big to get the roots straight.

Excellent product. Heats quickly and just one setting so don't have to mess with temps. Removeable comb is a nice addition. Lightweight so easy to handle. Straightens my hair in minutes, and can do several layers at once. 21/4 not a good size for my daughter's short hair, but for my shoulder-length hair, it's perfect! And the free shipping from Folica was a wonderful bonus!

I have previously purchased this same iron (from Folica) about 2 years ago. It is absolutley fabulous. Since then, my best friend is constantly using it weekly, so I purchased this for her birthday. Mine is still in excellent working condition even though I pretty much use it daily. It leaves your hair shiny, soft, and stick straight ~ even through humidity! My friends hair is fairly thick and wavy, and this iron straightens it perfectly, and it only takes a couple minutes. I recommend this iron to anyone looking for the perfect straightener for ANY hair type, and at a fair price too.

It was bigger than I realized. It straightens my hair with one sweap, but tends to make my hair a little flatter than I would like. Over all it is a nice straightner.

Our first flat iron went to school with my daugher a few weeks ago and we could not live without it so we bought the exact same one. It provides sleek hair that shimmers and is super straight - even from my younger daughters massive waves. Watch out though - it gets very hot!

This straightener is not worth the $120 that I paid for it. It takes a long time to heat up. It takes a while to get my hair straight, and then when I go outside my hair usually becomes wavy and frizzy again. I would reccomend a straightener that is ceramic and has a temperature control instead of this one.

I have wavy thick hair and have tried pretty much everything. This iron makes my hair straight and shiny. I love it, and the built in comb is very usefull.

When i first got my straighter 2 years ago my hair used to get caught it the plates, because i wasn't using it properly ! when i figured out how to use it, it was awesome, pain free!! i have a conair, revalon, and hot tools striaghters and none of them work like this one ! I have thick, curly, wavey hair and it makes it pin striaght, shiny and smoothe! I would recament this straighter to anyone !

I first used this flat iron two years ago, and at the time, it seemed to be the best one out there. After using my roommates ceramic one, however, I realized that the solano does not work as well. The solano still does a pretty good job, but i would recommend a ceramic one instead.

I am very satisfied with this flat iron. I have very thick, long, color-treated hair which I have struggled with straightening for some time. This iron saves me tons of time, while making my hair appear healthy and frizz-free. Due to the plate width, it does take a little more work to get to the roots. Bottom line- definitely worth the investment.
