Great for shorter hair or for travel.

I usually use the bigger Solano, but I love this one for my bangs, when my hair was shorter or traveling as it is nice and small. The comb is the best part as it smooths as you go down the hair.

This iron is so great! I am a hair stylist from Orange County, so hair care is a must. All of my friends use this and everyone is nuts about it! Your hair is silky smooth every time and I always get compliments, especially from the guys. You will love this!

I decided to buy the Solano flat iron after personal recommendations from my friends and great reviews on this site. This product has really lived up to its reputation. It heats up in a minute and straightens my hair in one swipe. Even though my hair is quite straight naturally, I love how the iron gets rid of all the frizz. I've received several complements from co-workers and friends on how my hair looks more smooth and silky…makes me wonder how bad it was before!

I was excited to find out from a few girls about this iron -I was giving up on my naturally curly hair -I liked the option of wearing it straight but it never looked as nice as the salon doing it. I was chemically straightening it also, and was warned about damage and told to just get a good iron --So I thought I'd give this iron a try -and was like a kid waiting for a new toy when it arrived! I've only used it once so far, but can tell the difference in my hair and the time I save.. I hope this thing lasts me as I will be getting lots of use out of it!! Thank you ---!!

I had a standard Conair iron that hardly worked, but my friend brought this one to my house and I was AMAZED!! It was the best iron I have ever used, and my friend had been using it for 4 years already! My hair is really curly and I use alot of products to make it not frizz, but with this, all you need to do is shampoo & condition, blowdry and straighten! My hair is silky smooth every time. I bought the iron, needless to say, the day after my friend let me use it! I highly recommend this.

...but it's actually the product that makes the difference. I achieved the same results at home as I have at the salon. This is a FANTASTIC product that provides UNBELIEVABLE results. It does get hot so if you're concerned with the first pass, run a hand towel through it first. The finish is shiny, healthy and straight. Use the edge to give your hair a slight bend or go super straight. The comb is a guide not an instrument for detangling. And the price ...WOW! My salon had it for about $100.

This product is horrible, from the day that I bought it. I have curly long hair, and it dried out my hair, and it became frizzy the minute i started to straighten it. If you want to get a quality flat iron invest in a Solia.

I received this flat iron Friday in the mail and I am very disappointed! It pulls your hair and feels like it is frying it! I even tried removing the comb and still the same problem.

This flat iron is much better than a cheap regular metal one I used before. The Solano did a very good job straightening my thick damaged wavy hair and it heats very fast.My hair has never been so smooth and shiny.

I am a Hairstylist that has naturally curly hair, and this is truly the best iron that I have found!. I bought 2, one for home and one for work! I have also retailed many to my clients and never once a complaint!
I personally found that the ceramic Iron pulled on my curls, due to the courseness of my hair and this one doesn't even need to be used on blown dry hair! You can air dry and flatten from curly! This Iron truly rocks and I would recommend it to all!
I am just about to purchase 2 more for some friends!

I used to have this iron and it was so damaging on my hair. It is terrible on your hair. I recently bought a ceramic iron and love it. It cost more but was worth it in the end.
