Does it damage your hair a lot?
I have really fine hair and I'm worried about damaging it. I use heat protectant spray, but with my current flat iron, it still gets damaged.

I have owned the Solano iron with the "removable" comb for years. However, I cannot seem to remove the comb. I have pretty much taken the iron apart, but the comb will not budge. Can anyone help with how to remove the comb?

I know this was posted a while ago, but I just recently wanted to take the combs of my solano out, and when I tried to, I just could not. I looked for this answer on MANY different websites and could not find ANYTHING, and as for the instructions, well, they were all Italian!!?? ... So i had all the screws out and pushed and shoved the combs and the would not budge. Finally I realized that there was a whole separate portion added onto the straightener to let the combs sit inside of it...this whole part DOES NOT come off!!! But with all the screws still in the straightener...all you have to do is pull on the middle of the comb part and wiggle both of the sides and they will come off!! So the trick is to just pull out the COMB part, the other part that everyone is pulling and pushing at doesn't come off! It is permanent!

removeable comb
I love this straightener but the comb for some reason keeps making my hair fall out. I know the comb is removable, but i cant seem to figure out how to remove it. Any answers?

U have to pull it up and not from side to side. Mine cae out easily. just pull it up. |
which one is better ?mini or this one?
i've decided to buy a dual voltage solano iron.can anyone suggest which one is better ?i have doubts about durability of mini iron.on the plus side its ceramic and small.but the wide one has great reviews.any suggestions?

Is this a cordless flat iron?
I am looking for a rechargable or butane cordless flat iron I can take on a 2 day camping trip. With curly/frizzy hair I'm sure some of you out there can understand, even though it is only a camping trip. Please help

I've lost the comb attachment for my flat iron, Solano Saphire 2 1/4. I love this flat iron, but I can't seem to mange without the comb. Where can I get a replacement comb?
