Not A good straightener

This product does not work for thick or coarse hair. It is way to bulky and to get your hair sleek and straight it can be very time consuming - like hours and hours. I would not recommend this product for any type of hair wether it is long or short or thin or thick.

I've been using my Straightener for probably about 2-3 years now and it is still holding up. I have really thick wavy hair and it gets it pretty straight and smooth. I wouldnt buy this again because I think for the price there are better ones out there. However I have been pleased with it and it's worked well for me. I have noticed it pulls hair out sometimes.

I bought this flat iron and sent it back. It didn't heat up real hot. It was really hard to use, and the combs get stuck in your hair. For the money you can make better choices like the Chi or the Sedu.

I have thick, frizzy hair and this iron does a moderatly decent job at straitening my hair. I find that having the hinge in the middle instead of on the end tears out my hair, as does using both combs at the same time.ive had this iron for a year and use it every day. the plating is wearing off and it no longer gets hot like it used to. it used to be a great product but has not held up well. my hair doesnt remain flat, and it takes several slow strokes. the only reason to purchase this iron is if you're looking for a comb, which i find extremly valuble. i would take advantage of the waranty while you still can, because it doesnt hold up for much longer.

This is a great flat iron. Solano has made a great product. I have thick Italian hair and it works wonders. I turn it on in the morning before my shower and by the time I am ready to straighten my hair its hot and I am set to go. I have used this flat iron everyday for a year. My hair stylist was even impressed. The only thing that is a turn off is removing the combs. Otherwise and A++ product. I would recommend this to anyone.

it's a great straightener but the combs aren't that easy to remove.. it gets the job done and looks great afterwards..but honestly a conair brand works just as well.

This type of flat iron is for very thin hair and does not work well with thick or coarse hair. Also, it takes a long time to heat up and does not get extremely hot. Not impressed at all for the $95 price tag.

I was very skeptical about buying a flat iron and I did tons of research before I decided on the Solano Sappphire Flat Iron. I can't begin to tell you how pleased I am with this iron. It is great! It does an excellent job at straightening..1,2,3 and you're done, amazing. It takes only one swipe~!I would definetly recommend this straightener to anyone who is as obsessed with getting their hair straight as I am. It really does an excellent job.
