1. Yes, it uses a ceramic heater, so the recovery time is short.

Well i REALLY need a new straightner and i have been looking at this one because i need something afordable and from the customer reviews it seems to be very good, but now i have a conair straightner. the conair is my first straightner and i am very disapointed. because my hair isn't even curly, it just has a couple waves in it that i dont like at all. and before school i try to straighten it,but it never comes out good. it never completly straightens my hair and when it does it becomes frizzy and wavy with in 2 hours. it gets me ver mad.and i want a new straightner before school starts in september.now from what my other straightner does do u think this will do better?. pleaseee help me out guys!! yes, pretty much any thin straightener will curl, and this one will! :] | ???

The person who said they are trying to get rid of it for 50 bucks, so it must not be as good, is incorrect. I am a professional stylist. We have Chi irons at the salon, and I ordered this one as a more affordable solution, for home use. I like this one BETTER than the Chi! No it isn't damaging to your hair any more than any other flat iron!!!! I haven't yet bought this straightener becuase I'm deciding between it and a couple others but my friend has this one and I've used it numerous times and my hair always comes out looking great! Oh and my friend's hair always looks gorgeous too!!!! =) Oh but to be sure just use a heat protectant serum in your hair! |
