It's amazing how a product can work wonders in some and horrors in others. For what I noticed, Shen Min is loaded with the essential vitamins and minerals that are proven to benefit -in this case in the woman- the hair. The reason why it may work well with some women and not with others, check your daily input on all the vitamins and minerals listed on the bottle's label. For example, an excess of vitamin A can not only cause the total reverse on the result (instead of helping hair grow it will cause it to fall) but it can also be fatal. So could be of negative result the overdose in other kind of vitamins. Do your survey. An excess of vitamin intake does not have to necessarily be out of the bottle, but of what a person consummes in meals/snacks in a daily basis. I believe that Shen Min has the potential to be a great product although I do not use it, but I also think that you should pay attention at why something works or not for you. The following is just a little tip for women in their late thirties and over fourties who suffer from hair fall. Check closely your life style. Have you been eating well? Could you be lacking vitamins and minerals? Could you have developed Iron Anemia? Could you be suffering from thyroidal problems such as the most common Hypothydorism which is due to hormones imbalance? Is the water you are using for bathing safe, for example, does it contain chlorine and other harmful chemicals or natural minerals that damage your hair and skin? There are great and very affordable filters for sale that would solve this problem. All of these that I mentioned above cause hair loss! I may sound like I am trying to "teach" the rest of the world on a subject, but I myself have been struggling to find solutions for this crisis called "hair fall" and I know how it feels to be going through this. Because I found little answers for a lot that I tried out there, I decided to make my own surveys, and I guess that all that I have found out for myself has helped and given me hope, so I wanted to share with others. The best things to do if you liked what I wrote is to mention it to your physician. He/she then can help with the rest.

I've been using this product for about two months. In that short period of time, I've noticed my hair is already thicker looking. It also seems to be growing at a much more rapid pace. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to my friends.

Shen Min does work. I've been using it off and on since 2000. It grows and thickens your hair. (in my case it even makes my curly hair straighter as it grows). How you take care of your hair is a completely different story. The product does what it says and it does it extremely well!

All these tablets gave me were depression, mood swings and sore breasts. I gained an extra stone in weight in just 6 weeks. I would not recommend this to anyone. My esteem is at an all time low because not only do I have androgenetic alopecia because of using these tablets I am also now overweight. I've binned the remaining medicine. What a waste of money that was.

I am 31 years old and have to admit that the only time I've experience hair loss was after the birth of all 4 of my children. With the first 3 it took about a year before the hair loss completely stopped and then my hair would start to grow back. Each time, my hair would fall out to the extreme where my scalp was sensitive to the touch; you could see the thinning areas; and my hair would clog up the tub. All my brushes would be full of hair and I'd have to sweep after every blowdry. I have been taking the the pills as directed for almost a month and have already experienced a very noticeable reduction in hair loss and regrowth in the thinning areas. I have not experienced any side effects at all. In matter of fact I expect the hair loss to completely stop within the next 2-3 months. I intend to continue to use this product even afterwards. I am very happy with this product!!

I have been using shen min for about 9 months. In the beginning I did notice a change with my hair becoming thicker and the bald spots regrowing some hair but my hair was also shorter. As my hair grew, the effects of the shen min were non existent. I have excessive breakage now and the thinning is occurring again. I am a Black woman and was told that this product would work for my hair texture.(coarse, thick hair) I have one and a half bottles left and think I will stop after that. I believe for me this was a short term cure but over a long period of time, it doesnt work. My hair doesnt look healthy at all and I have been religious on taking this 2x a day. I have androgenetic alopecia so I am not sure if this product would really work. For right now I am disappointed because I thought I found a good product but for the past 3 months, I am noticing excessive breakage.

Have been using this Shen Min product since June of 2004. Guess that makes it around nine months now. Was expecting a better hair re-growth but honestly don't see much of a change nor in the gray change, maybe a slight change but not enough for me. I have two more bottles left, and will continue with this. But can only take one pill a day so this will possible take longer? Two pills upset my stomach and can handle one a day. Did take two a day for around a month or so though. Still hoping for the best!

I have been using Shen Min Advanced for Woman Formula for 2 mos. and after the 5th week, I noticed that my hairloss stopped almost completely. When I would shower there was always a large ball of hair in the drain and there is none now. I also noticed hardly any hair in my hair brush that was always full. This does appear to me to be a great product for average hair loss in women. I do not see any change in the grey hair but expect that will take months to see if it brings results. I like the product. It has no ill effects on my stomache or nerves as other women have reported. I am 42 years old and have average hairloss.

I have been using Shin Min for about 6 months. I haven't noticed much of a difference in hair growth or color yet. I started experiencing headaches/stomach cramps/mood/yelow complexion/mood swings/constipation/numbness in arms & legs about the same time I started taking the product. I never used to have these illness.

I have been on Shen Min for 8 months now and have yet to see new hair growth. I lost some hair due to stress & anemia. The advertisements and product information look promising - it is all one big LIE. Most probably written by the company staff, friends & family. Don't waste your hard working money on Shen Min it is a rip-off.

I have tried this product for the "great information"??? they give but it is JUST A LIE!!!! I had to reasons to use this product: I have gray hair and I am losing my hair. Nevertheless, I did not see any improvement at all. I still would have been happy if at least my gray hair would have return to my former color. But nothing at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

the product does work. my hair dresser noticed new hair growth in the thinning areas, but she said the hair growing was coarser, wirey and dry and felt like straw. also i noticed i was more irritable after taking the product and had mood swings. once i stopped my mental state was better but the new hair growth stopped also. it is a catch 22 situation.

I've been using Shen Min Advanced Formula for Women for the past two years, and must add that it is by far the best for hair growth. I kept switching back and forth to other hair products because I was told that they would offer a faster growth rate; but I found that they didn't. In my experience with this product, it has shown itself to be true in growing my hair thicker and longer(about 1 inch per month). Now I am back with Shen Min and regret that I've wasted time with other products. As I can see now, this product is definitely worth the wait. I'll never switch again!!!

This is my second order for this hair product, and I made sure I ordered 2 bottles this time. It really does work, if you do not notice a difference with in a week, then you will by the time the bottle is empty!!
Also, customer service and delivery was perfect(I am in stationed in Germany). I will order again.
I had to cut most of my hair from being in Iraq, the dry, hot climate and really needed a boost for the hair growth and I finally found a product that works!!! Thanks again
